If
you
are
thinking
about
learning
to
SCUBA
dive,
you
will
not
find
a
better,
more
fun,
more
inspirational
experience
than
learning
from
the
folks
at
Clearwater.
I
am
an
experienced
diver,
and
I
took
my
son
and
his
girlfriend
to
Roatan
to
get
their
open
water
certification.
I
took
the
class
along
with
them
as
a
review.
Aside
from
how
great
all
the
people
are
that
work
at
Clearwater,
consider
these
things:
We
were
able
to
do
most
of
our
classroom
work
online
before
we
arrived,
so
the
very
first
day,
after
some
shallow
water
instruction,
we
were
diving
on
a
coral
reef.
The
boat
ride
to
the
dive
sites
is
very
short
-
you
will
appreciate
this
more
after
you
have
been
diving
in
some
places
where
you
spend
hours
commuting
to
the
dive
sites,
but
from
the
dock
at
Clearwater,
spectacular
dive
sites
are
barely
ten
minutes
away.
We
were
able
to
get
in
two
dives
by
lunchtime
every
day.
The
sea
is
calm.
For
a
beginner,
getting
back
onto
a
boat
that
is
bobbing
in
a
rough
sea
while
wearing
all
that
heavy
gear
is
daunting
-
around
Roatan
it
is
easy.
The
water
temperature
is
perfect,
the
visibility
is
great,
and
there
are
things
you
will
see
that
exist
nowhere
else
in
the
world.
My
two
teenagers
had
their
open
water
certification
after
four
days,
and
we
continued
to
make
two
dives
a
day
for
a
week,
to
different
sites
each
time.
It
was
not
especially
apparent
to
me
online
when
I
was
planning
this
trip
was
what
a
unique
and
wonderful
business
Clearwater
is.
Located
halfway
between
West
End
and
West
Bay,
it
is
a
comfortable
distance
from
all
the
commercial
(tourist)
activity,
and
has
a
relaxed
but
very
professional
atmosphere.
You
can't
find
a
better
place.
