I loved this place, from the history it has during the hard times and the breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea out the balconies to the delicious buffet breakfast they serve everyday and top notch wellness spa and their well trained staff. I really recommend this place if you are in search of a quiet weekend of relaxation. The piano playing in the lobby’s bar in the evening to the relaxed penthouse bar at night you will have a great time. Mind you I came in November 2021. Enjoy it.

We went with 4 people for Christmas lunch. The service was impeccable, the decor festive and the food delicious. The view is also great of the beach and promenade. The hotel has many different restaurants with different food and price categories. They are all great. We always come here many times when visiting Rostock.

To start off with the views were absolutely incredible and truly make it a cafe or bar that is worth visiting however the quality of the food and drinks left much to be desired so I cannot rate it highly simply as an experience as the main menu was lackluster and this service merely acceptable and definitely not what I would have expected when I'm paying quite so much for simple food. This all being said the view by itself makes the entire experience worthwhile just order yourself a children's cappuccino they're absolutely delicious and the best recommendation I have from the menu

Perfect location, great architecture as all rooms have a see view balcony. Most of staffs are very kind, and helpful just two who were discussing on serving caputicino during the breakfast. SPA with amazing view and indoor swimming pool with salt see water.

Great place and perfect view over the beach and Baltic Sea, the breakfast at the top floor was amazing, served by the table by very friendly personal. Absolutely a place I Bil stay when next time in the area,

We had a warm welcome at raw restaurant of Hotel Neptun. We reserved a table for a party of nine people to enjoy a Martin's goose. They served the goose direct at the table and the whole dinner was a nice event.

Great hotel, breakfast buffet was good, view was great. Only issue is that there is no air-condition in the rooms so it was really hot!

My experience visiting hotel Neptune was positive. I am visiting from San Francisco, California and I was advised to try the hotel signature Rotisserie Chicken. I am happy to say the journey to purchase the Chicken, Fries, and Sauce was successful on all taste levels, but the parking and crowd of people was a challenge. I love the area, especially the feel of the ocean mist and cool air. In comparison, the touristy perspective reminds me of my hometown of San Francisco and our near oceanic epicenter of Monterey, California. I will return when I am in Germany. Loved it.

The service at Hotel Neptun is wonderful. The staff, despite being very busy, is always helpful and friendly and they help out around the clock with every special request with a lot of attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful, especially the panorama rooms. Every room has a balcony with a sea view. There's a lot to do around the hotel and it makes for a lovely getaway. It's a bit pricey, but generally worth it. Will definitely stay here again.

Location is great and thats about it. Huge building from socialistic times full with pensioners. Service is hit or miss - some personell friendly and some are just grumpy. Curious how this hotel got a 5 star rating - more a 3 star in my book, as i dont get any luxury vibes from it. At any rate, it is way overpriced.
