This is hands down the best food we ate in Paris so far. The owner greets you warmly the moment when you enter through the door and chats with you when ordering, tells you everything about the menu so you chose something just right for yourself. All the staff were very kind and helpful. They are so welcoming to foreigners as well, which was a huge plus for us personally. My fillet was perfectly cooked, soft and juicy, with an amazing sauce. The baked potatoes were exceptional. They also have very nice homemade desserts. Cozy environment, perfect service and amazing food - what more can you ask for. I will recommend here to everyone who come to Paris. Make sure you make a reservation!

Husband and I went to this lovely restaurant for our anniversary dinner while on our Paris vacation. This dine in experience was definitely one of the best we had during our stay. The staff is absolutely wonderful and would go above and beyond to make you feel welcome (they even gave us a kitchen tour when we were curious about the meat cut used). The food was excellent 👌 , especially loved the steak , shrimps and the clafoutis !

Phenomenal ambiance here. Owner is amazingly warm and friendly and welcoming. Food is great. My first veal liver was a great success! Owner was very stoked to have us, from California and the Netherlands, he's got strong connections to both places... Small world!

An outstanding surprise in a time where there are few experiences like this! Chez Trassoudaine is an easy 5 stars on all aspects. From the moment you enter, you feel at home by the atmosphere and the staff’s welcome. The decoration feels like you’re parents (or grand parents house) in the middle of Paris. Menu is quite intimidating with all the options but we started with the terrine d’oie which was an outstanding new terrine to try and a great introduction to what was coming up after. Now what came after was the real chef-d’œuvre: six entrecôtes cooked in six different styles…absolutely incredible. Indulging in the six different styles one next to the other really makes it easy to compare the different arômes. The Blackpearl was out tables favorite. We just took one side of potatoes (also incredible) and it was enough for our table of 6 in order to give the meat the respect it deserves. Wine concept is very nice, your drink and pay as you go from the bottle you take. Desert are homemade and were also delicious. What really was the cherry on top at Trassoudaine, was the care of the owner and the chef who were constantly checking on the table with a smile and an easy going joke. Trassoudaine is definitely one of Paris best kept secrets, so good that I feel like I should not share it. Will definitely return many times.

Wonderful experience, I was visiting from the USA and had an excellent time here. They had some staff that spoke English and the atmosphere was delightful. Cool place.

Went for a dinner with a friend yesterday and was absolutely surprised at how lovely the owner is. We spoke for a bit he told me some stories about when he visited my home country, it was lovely! Of course the food was also incredible, the meat was well prepared and extremely tender. Will definitely go back!!!

Had dinner here with family. I must remember to eat here every time I visit Paris. The tamara was almost a meal by itself. We mainly had the beef platter. Though the duck in pepper sauce gave the beef a run for its money. Excellent service and well paced.

The owner and crew are friendly. You should try any of the steaks and wines.

Everything was nice enough, though the garlic shrimp isn't a good idea. Served unpeeled, very hot and therefore difficult to peel and too burnt that it becomes a bit bitter. Certainly wasn't worth the effort of peeling it. The rest was quite good though and the place is very comfortable- quite spacious, which cannot be taken for granted in Paris.

Mouth watering food and kind owners. Water and tea was for free. Hi from Latvia❤️🇨🇵
