Despite what it says online this is no longer a walk in clinic. I read the reviews prior to coming to the clinic and I can assure everything that is stated with one star is accurate. You’d think after so many negative reviews the practice may consider getting new receptionists as they’re clearly incompetent. I waited outside for an hour arriving early so I could get in to the walk in with an urgent matter but they no longer offer a walk in service. Probably something they should look into removing online. Not hard to tell this practice is poorly run.

There are serious problems with Ravines Medical Clinic. My wife was assigned to a nurse practiioner there when her family Dr. retired. She saw this practitioner a couple of times, but the next time she called to make an appointment, she was informed that that person had moved on. She was never advised that there would be a new practitioner assigned to her, and started using walk-in clinics again. Then my wife found out somehow that a new practitioner HAD taken the old ones place, so she started seeing her. Well, she called today only to find out that her new practitioner has also left! What on earth is wrong with this clinic that they can't keep medical professionals on staff? And why do they have zero communication with their patients about this? On top of that, this practitioner has her on 2 new medications, and is supposed to be monitoring how they are working. And now she just suddenly disappears? How irresponsible and unproffessional can you get? She says she can deal with the ultra-rude receptionist, but this has shocked and mystified her.

Probably the rudest customer service you will ever encounter in your life. Very inconsiderate, unprofessional, complete lack of empathy by the person working at the reception desk for the 2 doctors. The doctors might be good and nice, but unfortunately I never got that far with the clinic. A 30 second conversation with the lady at the front desk told me everything I need to know.

If I could give a negative number on this review I would. Absolutely disgusted with how I was treated this morning. Whoever the front desk woman was working May 23rd at 8am, not sure how she landed a job there because I am sure nobody would want to be working with such a rude person like that. I walked in reading a bunch of signs they put up, she sat there just starring at me, no hello or anything, when I asked questions she answered in such a cold way that you could feel her intentions were to make you feel unwelcome.

On April 17th I attended the QEII emergency due to severe cramps and pain. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and a small perforated bowel. My physician Dr Nicole Robichaud at the time showed great concern, however after contacting her office several times (5 to be exact) to request a follow up and find out if a specialist appointment and/or to see a dietitian to assist in maintaining a health lifestyle with diverticulitis I had never received a return call. On August 5th I started to receive indications of a relapse and during the days of the 6th and 7th I was bedridden with total agony again and elevated fever. On Monday the 8th I reached out to her office again to request medical assistance as diverticulitis can be life threatening, the receptionist returned a call indicating that she was to inform me to go to a walk-in clinic. Ideally with Dr Nicole Robichaud being my primary physician she could have made a quick call and issued a prescription of antibiotics to treat the disease knowing the history and my medical condition, but instead brushed it off. Because of her lack of professionalism I still don’t know if I should be seen by a gastroenterologist and or what diet I should be on to help assist in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I will be filing a complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia to elaborate the importance of the ethical obligations physicians should have and maintain for their clients and profession with hopes that it will elevate anyone else in the future from experiencing the same lack of health support from both the Ravines Medical Centre and Dr Nicole Robichaud herself.

My doctor is very competent, but unfortunately every time (really every time!) that I needed to call the Ravine clinic for an appointment with my doctor (and it's not often) I felt that the secretary didn't have the time to talk to me and cut me off in order to finish as quickly as possible. It’s very unpleasant!

The receptionists are about as helpful as anyone would be trying to keep up with the demands of hundreds of people daily. They have limits too and sometimes it shows. My GP at this clinic, whether perceived or not, seems invested in making me healthy again and for that I'm thankful. Dr Prager, if you are listening, thank you for you.

I worked here for one year. Then was laid off. The office manager was like a stump but you had to pretend to like her. There was one girl who was nothing but pure lazy that was a nightmare to work with. If she spent more time working rather than eating she could have had time to get her job done. My job was extremely boring so being laid off was not a bad thing but how the manager went about it was so wrong. I get that having me do this job was a waste of time and money for the clinic but they let me go to bring another girl to fill my position. Just very unprofessional! The office itself nurses and doctors were very nice

spent 20 mins driving out here during rush hour for their walk in clinic (that their website has no info about) because it came up on a google search only for there to be a sign on the door it isn't open to the general public. update your website! it was also empty so maybe you should go back to taking everyone.

I wish I could rate even lower. The receptionist are extremely rude. The wait time to get on the phone is ridiculous, and when you finally get to talk to someone, they are ignorant and unhelpful. They miscommunicated an appointment time and would not admit their fault and try to mend the situation that they caused. If you are looking to be helped by their staff, look elsewhere.

The Doctor I met with was very kind and professional, but managing to get an appointment (and be informed of the correct time of that appointment) was a bit too much of a hassle /:

I have always had a positive experience when coming to Ravines. I was originally a patient of Dr. Gradstein and when she left I was worried I would be left without a family doctor. Thankfully Dr Prager took me on as a patient and has by far been the best doctor I have ever had. She listens when I tell her my health concerns and genuinely cares that I am receiving the proper care. I was sadden to hear that she is leaving Ravines and can only hope that my next doctor is as professional and empathetic as her.

😠 Absolutely atrocious medical care. My partner was experiencing extreme chest pains all night. 811 advised not to go to the ER and to be seen by a doctor within 12 hours. My partner showed up at this location 1 hour before opening, and still waited 4 hours to be seen by a doctor. This alone, while fr...

😠 Went here because I was in excruciating pain that I was pretty sure was a bad uti. The doctor didn’t believe me, said I was most likely fine just tummy trouble but would do a test anyway. I ended up going to the hospital because it turned into a kidney infection and a week later they called me to sa...

😠 The worst medical experience I have ever had. The doctor wrote me off as anxious before even checking my vitals. 👍 Health care in Canada is like a communist bread line, if you get in line early enough, you may get bread. In order to see a doctor here at the walk-in clinic, you have to line up at 7:00 a.m. If you do manage to get in, some of the doctors here are pretty good. I've had some really good experience...
