My boyfriend had the mushroom toast and it is now one of his favorite breakfast/brunch dishes + coffee was really good + the place looks nice and cozy and the waiters were very friendly Note: it took a bit longer to get the food compared to other brunch places in Cape Town. About 25 minutes I think so it was really ok, but probably not the best if you are in a hurry. Note: if you want to work from here, their policy recommends to keep the laptop time under 60 minutes. Not a clue if they enforce this somehow, but just something to keep in mind maybe.

This spot in Cape Town is truly one of my favourites for coffee. It has a fantastic ambience and cosy seating, making it perfect for students and laptop users. I wholeheartedly recommend it. My go-to drinks are Americano and V60, and they're delicious. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting Fiki, one of the staff members, and we instantly became friends. Her professionalism stood out as she guided me through some excellent coffee grinder options to buy for home use.

Had coffee and some pastries here and even though everything was nice the service was a little lacking even though they weren't that busy. All in all though, not bad.

Origin coffee is an authentic place. No hype here just good coffee and the food looks good too. The service is nice and they like to explain the differences between the beans too. And the best thing they do light-medium roast! Beautiful place!

Best coffee in town. Don’t bother yourself and look for other coffee places. And the breakfast was perfect. As you see in the picture I forgot to take a picture but I finished it (sorry no sorry).

Always have an incredible experience here! The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable - and they are helpful and do not look down on you for not being very clued up about some things! Their coffee is great and there are SO MANY options - it is really difficult to go to other coffee shops due to this :). Their night cafe has the best cocktails. The cocktails are high quality, pretty to look at, well balanced, and delicious! The staff at night are also amazing! :) We also had their mango panacotta, which was so delicious! :)

Your food is at the same price level as Jason's but nowhere near the quality. Your coffee is more expensive than Deluxe, Truth and Bootleggers. Get real with your pricing or fully expect your restaurant to run out of customers in the next two years. Place is already dead most of the time

Great place to have coffee. Vibes are amazing. Had a coffee and croissant while I was in the area. Service was quick, food was good. An incentive to visit again with a bigger group. Would recommend to all caffeine lovers Edit: Went there again on a morning last weekend, ground floor for busy hence made myself comfortable on the first floor table which also is a workplace for the roasters, packaging staff etc. Tried their Vaccum pour V60/64 which smelled strong but tasted mild with mostly fruity notes, I loved it and it is something that two people can easily share. Also had plain omelet with sourdough bread, it was one of the most delicious breakfast I had, not sure what went into the preparation for the Omelet but I would definitely recommend you try it whenever you're here for breakfast. Again a wonderful experience, I'm revising my rating from 4 to 5 stars as it has been an overall amazing experience in the couple of visits I've been here.

Good place to enjoy an early brunch. We were delighted by how much choice there is here for coffee and tea. Don't hesitate and ask the staff for advice, we both liked a lot the ones we got. We ordered the omelette, the sweet potato rosti and a peanut butter cookie. They were all good but not extraordinary. Conclusion: a very nice place to chill in the morning, the staff is very friendly and the drinks are definitely worth it.

2nd very poor experience in 2 months, at what used to be a good coffee shop. Service very slow and unorganized. Waiters served beer with a best before 3 years ago. In desperate need of a floor manager to ensure bathrooms serviced, drinks and food orders taken, bills can be paid quickly. Coffee still good but not worth the wait.

It feels like management has lost interest; we visited for lunch, staff ignored us for ages. Food was okay, although we were served 3 year old beer. Toilet dustbins were overflowing and soap dispensers were empty. Coffee beans were more than double the price of nearby competitors. I sincerely hope you improve.

Might be one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Although simple and unpretentious - eggs classics, it is close to perfect. The bread is fresh out of the oven, thick cut with so much flavour, soft with crunchy crust easy to cut through... The bagels, also fresh out of the oven, are just amazing. The ladies doing the service are great, the guy managing the seating was a bit rude and nosy, but not important enough to lower the 5star rating for this place.

First of all it's a Roasting house, soo I would say only one word to describe their Espresso, It's incredible!!. I like their croissant, it's one of the best here in Cape Town, the waiters are always helpful and kind, I totally recommend this place.

Such great coffee and the food is fantastic too. You can pop upstairs and see the coffee roasting process. These dishes were the Asian chicken and the steak roll, fantastic food. The roll is baked in-house and is really delicious.

Beautiful place for coffee lovers. Huge space with good seating areas. Inside, but also outside. In a busy area, but secluded enough to enjoy your coffee fix in peace. In my case, I got a very solid latte. Could have been a bit more creamy, but can't complain.
