Really great place for a night out. Saw a band there a while ago and they were great but the music was extremely loud and so we decided to go upstairs which was unfortunate. But it is a very vibey and nice place to meet up with friends or meet new people. Haven’t had much of the food there but from what I’ve tasted it was good.

Quiz night here is amazing. I had so much fun celebrating my friends birthday here, the other day. It was my first time and I will definitely be back. I need to win!

Saturday night beer pong was a BLAST! So much fun and competition and spilled beer! They say it starts at 8 but things didn’t really get going til after 9 and the championship game was played just after midnight. Fun times!

World class venue, ample seating, friendly and professional staff, super friendly owner, incredible live bands. Looking for a great night out with friends, this is the spot for you!

Wonderful bar to be with some good food and a significant focus on music events. They have events every night including live bands, karaoke, open mics, pub quiz, etc. Affordable drinks with a good range (their vodka iced tea is divine!) and a couple of pool tables to throw back onto. Overall just promises a good time.

Great evening with Amazebalz bands. The Italians blew the crowds' minds. Well done, Fulci.

Awesome place to visit with friends they have events everyday. Great vibe, great people. The staff are all friendly, mind you I say this after being attacked by a bar-lady😂 I thought nothing of it because I'm a barman myself and an expert at pulling people's legs. I'll definitely visit again.✌

Sick af. Kinda dodgy area but it’s lit. Food options outside. Inside live music and beer pong and other tournaments upstairs. Great drinks. Great DJs. Great service. Uber everywhere. Pizza and other stuff to eat.

One of the best places to go at any time and day because of its lively karaoke nights and Saturday beer pong. Great music to listen to and chill while you're drinking with your friends.

Updating my previous review. We visited again recently and were surprised to see that the menu has been cut down to just starters and pizzas. The pizza was good. I'd definitely recommend the bacon, avo and feta, but the pepperoni was a bit on the sweet side. We also had some chicken strips which could do with a bit more seasoning, but they were still crunchy and went well with the sauce. The service was a bit disappointing as I think there were only 2 waitrons on duty while they were having a rather busy event night. But overall the experience was an improvement from last and I'm keen to see how they further improve.

If i could give this place -1000000 i would!! Such a nice venue awesome music RUDE ONWNER! My bf went into the ladiesrest room by accident, the bathroom was open so he didnt see the sign. The owner with tje ginger hair and beard made such a scene. Shouted aggressively at him and told him to leave th venue,no problem leaving the venue it was th way he handled the situation and shouted in front of all his clients. We just ordered our drink and told him we wanted to finish it as we paid for it as my bf took a sip he took the glass vigorously out of his hands. Very very rude owner!would not recommend this place unless you want to pay for your drinksand be able to drinkit and then get escorted out for going into the wrong rest room.I Our whole friend group was so disgusted and lots of people walking out after the whole scene as well !!!

Where do I start? This place has been my solice and party place for a few years now, the owners are wonderful people, engaging and attentive. It's LGBTQ friendly and you'll meet all kinda of intriguing people. Plenty of space in all areas to vibe whether you wanna play pool, chill at the bar or outside for a ciggie and conversations. The staff is incredible, big ups to my two main ladies Heather and Pascaline. These women can run the whole place at full capacity! The food is incredible, burgers and pizzas are my favourite and if you're not hungry just grab a bowl of affordable chips, skinny and crispy. The events keep the venue interesting and I honestly have never had any bad experiences there. They are protective of all their patrons and if a problem arises it's solved! Shout out to Adam for keeping things chill and safe as well, the man works hard! Well there you go, Armchair, until the next ice cold beer 🍻

Nice student venue. Karaoke nights on Thursday night and has a great vibe. Drink prices are reasonable and venue is in the middle of Obs so nice and busy!!

Great way to spend an evening! Something different! Just be sure to remain somewhat quiet while the comedians are on stage or you may become the butt of a very drawn out joke! Fun!

Armchair is the coziest and best place to be in CT. They have a different event for every night of the week and hosts some of the biggest named musicians in South Africa. I always feel welcome + the food is fantastic! Good vibes all round 👌🏼

About 8months ago i when to armchair looking for work. And they accepted me in with open arms. Its a great place to work. I love working here. Im always paid on time. And never issues. A lekker vibe, great music. Friendly and assisting staff. overall a wonderful experience. Only downfall are the prices of drinks - R38 for Redbull - to be expected when going out in town I suppose.
