This mall has a lot of shops, last time I was here everything was closed up. There is still plenty if empty spaces. It's an outdoor mall with very little traffic. I entered a few shops grabbed some snacks & walked around it was chill. There is a movie theatre with plenty of restaurant around it. The few stores I enterad were very interesting. Just your regular mall .

Plenty of parking, fun shops, a great shopping experience! The currency exchange is one of the only places in San Diego to trade in your Euros for dollars.

The target is a 2 story facility. While we were shopping, we had to go downstairs. On the way down, the escalator stopped suddenly and a lady behind us almost fell down the steps. Dangerous place.

It's a large, outdoor Westfield with a large variety of big and small stores. Parking is about as confusing and frustrating of an experience as can be in a mall. Narrow one way aisles filled with pedestrians and cars going the wrong way. Small, in depth and width, parking spaces. Many entrances and exits. Signage nowhere near the stores. Plan accordingly and use your GPS to find the store you're looking for.

Easy parking. Elevators, ramps, and escalators are all available to take patrons from the underneath, well-lighted, ample parking garage. It's a safe place.

I love the outdoor shopping mall experience. These shops offer the stores you may want to visit without the commitment of having to enter an enclosed mall. There were many shops and great convenient parking options with wheelchair and stroller easy access from the parking garage to the mall main shopping area.

The hostess that seated me was not friendly and looked lost majority of the time, and never told any of the wait staff that she hat seated me. It took almost 10 minutes for anyone to come to my table. Luckily when they did everything from then on was super quick. It didn't seem like I had a waiter designated for my table till the last 10 minutes. My drink stayed filled and my food came out quick and it was delicious, I had the fish tacos they were 6.5 out of 10 but I had never had catfish tacos before so they were a little different than San Diego fish tacos. Overall the beginning of my visit is what really gave them 3 stars, if it hadn't been for the young seemingly untrained hostess, they would have gotten 5 stars.

We ate at the Lazy Dog restaurant and it was delicious. 10/10 for everything from the food to the service and atmosphere! We will definitely be going here again and we've been recommending it to our friends and family every chance we get!

Mission valley has gotten better from the previous few years. They have some great shops but also a few vacant spots too. There were still transients wandering around screaming at people but it's still better than from five years ago.

It's ok. They really, really, really need to resurface the parking lot. And they need many more security guards. I saw people doing drug deals in the parking lot on two different days. And lots of people hang out in front of Target 🎯 trying to hustle people for money claiming it's for this cause or that cause, only to tell their friends they're buying weed or drugs or movie tickets with the money. It's very sketchy here. And the way the parking lot is set up is weird. If you can't find parking relatively close to the stores, you have to park far away in the dark.

A pleasant, outdoor shopping experience with a variety of shops and eateries to relax and stroll. Just steps away from the Mission Valley trolley stop, so no need to drive if you dont want to. The area is not so crowded that you can't take your time to shop and any store you can think of is in close proximity to the mall. The Westfield Mall area is one if the premier shopping experiences in San Diego. You'll enjoy this area for the shopping and feel from going.

This is one of the boring and malls in San Diego, CA I need to bring back the cheap food court there they need to take out some of the high-end restaurants there. Keep outback steakhouse. The best thing in the mall is the AMC movie theater and Michael's there is a thrift store type of store I don't like the store because you have to pay with card no cash. They should bring a music & DJ store there in the mall that be awesome.

Mission Valley is a cute and small little mall! There are a few great food options, and plenty decent of stores to go shop. It does have a target which is always a plus in my book! It’s overall such a great place to hangout with your friends or by yourself! Highly recommend checking out!

You mean Mission Valley Sewer? The parking garage always wreaks of sewage. Yuck! Can’t something be done about that overpowering foul odor?

  • 3/5 k b. 2 years ago on Google
Westfield is more of a community shopping plaza rather than a mall. If you have transportation challenges you can always catch the San Diego Trolley for 5 bucks which is across the street. Choices like Target, Express, Footlocker, Victory secret and similar stores. There are no high end brand stores at this location. Yard House has great happy hour specials and food as well as the Outback Steakhouse. You can catch a movie at AMC theater or even work out at 24 hour fitness although it closes at 9:00 p.m.. one of my favorite eateries is Wetzel Pretzel. And there is a new tattoo shop that seems to be quite popular right next door to GameStop. I do want to give a thumbs up to Nordstrom's Rack because they have trendy clothing as well as prices. If you're shopping here is typically because you know what stores are there rather than shopping to find out what is there. I'm curious to know your impressions let me know.

Great location. Fair price. Service was ok, to noisy, between the people partying in the room across from ours. And the folks smoking dope in the room besides ours. And the airport take off runway down the road. Had to sleep with ear bud's.

Food was great, only issue was floors was too slick I wear non slip shoes for work and I almost fell twice, even after telling a server about it. Other then that I would highly recommend this place to eat. Was a pleasant experience especially with our dogs

Overall I go to this shopping center for just a few stores. It's been clean and safe. My only complaint is the parking spot widths are so narrow. I was driving a Hyundai Veloster at the time of this review and I had to squeeze out between vehicles. Target and T-Mobile are two of my main reasons I go here.

It’s crowded on the weekends and parking can be a problem, but the beach is right next to the sidewalk to the Del Coronado hotel. If you can’t find parking nearby, park across the Silver Strand Highway at the City Hall. It’s not a long walk and there’s a light to cross the busy highway. The beach is beautiful and the waves are not bad for body surfing and board surfing.

Burgers are amazing. Drinks are delightful. Steaks, cooked nicely. Side dishes tasty. Other menu items not good at all... Pasta- worth skipping. No seasoning, no savory flavors and sauce get lost into a watery soup. Tried it twice on separate occasions. -Fish tacos. NO! NOT GOOD. loads of sour cream, no seasoning with shredded cabbage and carrot. -stick with fish N' chips. My next adventure at lazy Dogs is to enjoy their BRUNCH SPECIALS:) I HEAR good things;)

We're from out of town. The lack of signage and directions to tenant doors made our journeys through the underground cavern that is the mall parking lot what should have been a short visit into a 2 1/2 hour nightmare. Not only are there not signs to locate the stores which cannot be seen, there are no signs for either auto or pedestrian exits. The garage is huge and there are no properly marked roadways either. That worked for the locals driving like bats of hell, but for us it was 6000 steps according to my watch. We never did find what we were looking for. Sadly, our pain did not end when we left parking garage. It took over 35 minutes to go 500 yards to the freeway. Amazingly heavy traffic for 2 pm on a Saturday. If you're a local and have been there enough times to know your way, then "enjoy". Otherwise, this is the very last place to try and shop.

I went to Westfield Mission Valley after it was recommended to me as the place to buy antlers for my dog. I was told that they stock a higher quality than most other stores. I was very happy with their selection. Antlers are not cheap, so I was glad to find a store with quality stock.

outdoor mall so a different kind of shopping experience. reasonable range of stores with plenty of clothing shops. main drawback is eateries are across the car park from the shopping. plenty of parking, restrooms were clean. worth a look if you're out this way or visiting Fashion Valley.

  • 3/5 Kara M. 1 year ago on Google
Twilight zone! First off, the shopping mall is very clean. But that's likely because there are no people to create a mess. And the lack of people could have something to do with the lack of stores! Seriously, there's only just a few very random stores making the place seem deserted. There is one store though, that will keep me coming, Target. Lol, I love Target.

We had a great time. Parking was plentiful and close to the area we wanted to be in. Our purchase in three different stores was quick and easy. All the reps were very polite and upbeat. Definitely will be back.

Shoreline has been a family favorite for over 10 years. It's a great place to walk around, take in some sun or picnic near the lighthouse. We always get down this way before noon when parking starts to build up. We usually park in the paid lot near Yard House and Tequila Jack's. The cost is worth the convenience. There's tons to do, take a boat tour, rent your own boat, rent a bike and even go whale watching (although we've only ever seen seals!). Good inexpensive day trip for families or couples (or heck, even singles for that matter).

My family and I went to this shopping mall last weekend to have fun and buy each and every one of our wishes. The place was big, gorgeous, and new. In addition, on that day, the staff who entertained us were very accommodating and respectful. Even the clothes, shoes, bags, and other things we bought were beautiful and of good quality. We really appreciated our visit to your shopping center. It was fulfilling!

The primary reason that I visit Westfield Mission Valley's shopping mall is to shop at their Target store; it has two full floors of just about everything that you would ever need at competitive prices. They have a number of other unique businesses and shops to fulfill your shopping needs however the coronavirus has affected some of their businesses; shopping hours and opening and closing times, so the best time to browse is during the midday hours.

Great mall with lots of parking. It's easily reached from I-8. The mall is laid out in a nice and cozy manner and not in the traditional boring cookie cutter shape and layout. This is a large sized mask where, due to the great southern California weather, a family can spend a whole day without feeling overwhelmed or fatigued. A nice large movie theater, AMC, is also there to top everything off.

I called Target to find out if they had an ink cartridge magenta color for my printer. I called them four times and the guy couldn't hear me on the other end of the phone. The fifth call he heard me turns out they didn't have an individual cartridge instead I had to buy a package of four different colors at a much higher price. So I called Best Buy. They wouldn't even look to see what they had on stock because they're so busy according to the prefab message on the phone. So I called Staples who said of course I'll look for you here's one a single unit. That's x amount of dollars and we've got it in stock and we're open until xtime. Thank you so much I went to Staples the other two forget it

Because of COVID most everything is closed. I was there to work out at the 24 hours fitness they have set up in the underground mall parking. They pretty much have most of the equipment they had inside except for the treadmill. No restroom or lockers. All the waits out out there as well. Mask on at all time and you have to wipe down after each use.

Sooooo much better. Last time I was here was earlier this year and the mall was so/so. Not really any exciting stores. Now it seems like management is brining in nicer stores to attract more people. I saw a cool new soccer store with a big statue outside, a new restaurant is opening soon, and I shopped inside this new vintage store they brought in as well. Really liking the direction this place is going in.
