1 star as I didn’t even get to my room. Arrived to check in and told my room wasn’t ready, told I would get a text when it was ready, but took my payment anyway. Okay, not ideal but whatever. 3 hours later and no text, I head back to see if my room is ready as at this point I’m really annoyed. Arrive back to what I can only describe as hell. A good 75 other guests in line waiting to check in. Finally I get to the front and ask for my room key and I’m not my room is still not ready (it has been 4 hours at least since my first attempt!!). At this point I’m tired, I’m still in my travel clothes, their staff are incredibly rude and saying I can pay the same price for a different room, which would be a massive downgrade- so I requested a refund. At first they refused to refund me, I told them I’d be disputing with my cc and finally got a refund and left. Stayed at Hotel Vitale instead. Book at your own risk, I certainly won’t be attempting to stay here again, terrible and stressful experience, and unfortunately an experienced seemingly shared by another 70+ guests.

4 weeks in advance, I booked a 4 night stay for a conference through my corporate booking process. The day of the event, I flew in, went to the event and then headed to the hotel expecting to check in. I was informed that no rooms were available and that I would be contacted by phone when a room was available. 3.5 hours later there were still no rooms available and no information beyond that. I waded through an angry crowd of guests (all in the same predicament), to cancel my reservation. The intercontinental took me in 5 minutes. It seemed like at least 100 guests were impacted and left without rooms. Stay here at your own risk.

I’ve used their valet parking many times but only recently stay there for 2 nights. The lobby hasn’t fully reopened with all the services (I don’t think) but the rooms are more updated than some other similar class hotels in the area. Clean and comfortable. Easy access to so many places. I’d also consider this location very (relatively) safe. Friendly staff. All good during my first stay there!

Stunning renovation in a classic hotel and location. This hotel has had a beautiful renovation very recently. It's well-designed and doesn't have that typical generic design a lot of hotels have when they renovate. Additionally, there was close attention to detail with the renovations whereas a lot of renovations these days feel halfway done. They left no stone or corner unturned when renovating this place. The staff was top-notch and extremely friendly and helpful at every turn. The rooms are large enough and well-appointed which isn't always the case in this city. I will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you for your cordial service and attention to the little things!

For a 4 star hotel, it's rather surprising that there is zero room service and it is impossible to get dinner on a Sunday or Monday night as the in-hotel restaurant is not open those nights. I suggest you cross the road to the California Pizza Kitchen - they do a lot more than merely pizza - both dine in and take-out (walk right to the back for the take-out desk). I've travelled the world over and don't recall ever experiencing either a 4- or 5-star facility that didn't serve room service on some nights. There is no in-room directory of any kind, meaning (amongst other things) I had to contact the front desk to find that room service didn't exist! The web site is no help - it's merely a promo page for the hotel - I could find zero guest-specific information. Further, and the biggest concern, this is the only hotel I have ever occupied that did not have an evacuation plan on the inside of the room's door. On a positive note, the rooms are large and fresh (the concierge told me that the hotel had recently undergone a major refurbishment) and there's plenty of desk space for those of us who want to get work done, although something closer to an 'office' chair would have been appreciated. The bathroom is manageable and there's a card beside the bed offering replacement toiletry items, however, no contact information - I guess another trip to the concierge is in order! Oh... and for the tech geeks reading this, the in-room WiFi is on a 172.16.x.x network - one of the very few installations of a Class B private network I've experienced. I run classes in this stuff and regularly tell students that they will rarely see this address range in the wild! Thanks for reading.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it wasn’t great. My room wasn’t cleaned even once, which I thought was odd. I could hear everything the person in the room next to me was saying, and they left their TV on all night which was fun! The toiled smelled awful, and it didn’t come from me. I also waited 15 minutes for an elevator one morning to go down to the lobby, making me late for work. I eventually hit the up button and was finally able to get onto an elevator. The staff were all very friendly at least. The view from my room was also pretty nice.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this property. It was a nice experience. The hotel is well designed and the rooms are well equipped, counting with a very comfortable bed and all the necessities you need for your stay. Location is fairly accessible to anywhere you need to go, although the surrounding area can be a bit sketchy during nighttime so just use your common sense. I will definitely come back!

My Husband and I stayed Celebrating us! Will at the Reception was amazing. He greeted with a smile, offered a upgrade, late check out. Acknowledged my status as a Globalist. I felt like a regular. Thank you Will. Love the remodel btw. Showers are gorgeous. Will definitely be returning.

Stayed for 2 nights for a work event. Every single person that worked there was ridiculously kind and accommodating: Multiple people at the reception desk, at the little market, the bell men, housekeeping, seriously everyone. I was on my way out to a dinner and asked for a safety pin to fix my jacket and one of the guys literally ran to go find me a handful of them from housekeeping. Got a room with an amazing view thanks to the guy checking me in and the room was very clean and stocked with necessities (coffee, creamer, hair driver, steam iron, etc…). Love that they have carafes to refill with water and ice at the end of the hall. Very nice gym with the usual machines + free weights, kettle bells, TRX, medicine balls, yoga mats etc…). Would definitely be back next time I am in San Fran.

Enjoyed our stay. took into consideration that hotel is under renovation. (we were advised of this before we arrived)...All staff we encountered...pleasant, helpful, some 'going beyond' to make our stay good. Valet service is pricey but worth it, staff at valet excellent! Location is good for using BART and cable car close by as well. Pizza restaurant across the street is very good and stays open late. Grab and go food had good variety and was delicious. My grandson left his earbuds in the room on the day of departure. When we arrived back in N.C. he called and they were in "lost and found"..mailed out to him right away. Agree that the rooms and decor showing some wear, but that is being addressed. I've stayed in 5 star hotels all over the country and decor will not make up for indifferent, rude staff. so Kudos to the staff at this hotel for focusing on what they have control over and doing an excellent job.

Tagged along with my wife that was attending a conference here last month (July 2022). We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Rooms were clean, comfy and accommodating. Great views of the city from our room. Front desk personnel were very helpful. Housekeeping staff was nice and helpful. Security on deck at all times, who were also friendly in handling a grubhub order placed while visiting. I have no complaints about this establishment at all!

Our family had booked a room with 2 queen beds for this weekend. Unfortunately, we received a call informing us that the hotel had over booked and needed to put us in a king room instead. We were a little frustrated but they promised a roll in bed so we just had to deal with it, we didn’t want to deal with booking a new hotel. When we arrived, Beverly checked us in and provided us with an amazing king room with a stunning city view. Thank you Beverly and Hyatt!! Nice hotel, will definitely be returning here again.

Beautiful modern hotel. One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Our room was clean and the view was incredible. We arrived a little bit early and accepted the fact that our room might not be ready. We were told to come back at 3PM which was only 2 hours away. We grabbed lunch and waited the remaining time in the lobby. Unfortunately our room wasn’t ready until 5PM. If we would of known it would of been that long of a wait we would of sight saw before the giants game. I would stay here again but hope that check in is a little smoother.

Great hotel, it was nice and clean, and everyone was great we interacted with. I really enjoyed the reusable water bottles they provide (with water stations on every floor). The room was a very good size and I read some people had issues with the bathroom shower not having a door, but honestly the 3 days we were there, it never once caused an issue. The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is on the day we were checking out someone was in the lobby on the phone with the police and talking to the hotel staff about their room being robbed. Kind of a jarring thing to walk into at 5/6 AM.

Globalist here. Great location right off market Street. Spacious room, very clean, quiet, very comfortable soft king bed mattress! I slept quite well here. Service and staff were excellent. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. The regency club was excellent - great coffee machine, snacks, drinks, and seating. Bar in the lobby was a tad pricey but drinks and service were very good. Would stay here again!

I spent five nights here with my family and the staff was amazing. The hotel rooms were clean and spacious and the views were nice. We had a neighbor for four of the five nights we slept there that started partying and playing music at midnight every single night. Every night we could hear fighting, arguing, and yelling all the way to our room and none of us could sleep. We informed the staff about what happened and they assured us that they would take care of it. I think that someone went there to speak to them the next night as it got quiet for a few hours, but then it started again. It was on the 4th day of our stay when we asked for a new room as clearly, our neighbors were not willing to stop or quiet down. The employee behind the desk was super nice and he managed to get us a new room. Thankfully, on the last night of our stay, we had no problems and we could finally get some well-deserved sleep. Although we managed to get a new room for the last night of our stay, I wish that the hotel had called the police or security to ask the troublemakers to leave as we were not the only ones who had complained about them. We informed the staff after the first night of our stay about it and I wish that they would've put an end to it right then and there or would've offered us another room.

Not often you find comfortable bed while traveling in hotels. Must say this bed was extremely comfortable and I actually slept through the night. Very well located in downtown. Most Every place is walking distance. Felt safe and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and polite

My favorite Hyatt on the west coast! Staff review: The staff is really friendly and Nick at the restaurant was super helpful when I forgot my breakfast voucher he went and got me another which was so nice of him. He also explained more of the benefits as well. (Thank you and shout out to you Nick!) How does it rank across 70 nights at hotels: I’ve traveled the world and while Andaz in Singapore is amazing, this place rivals with as a close second with the warm staff TL;DR: Whether you are here for business or for family vacation. I would highly recommend this hotel after staying 70 nights at hotels around the world. This was a pleasant surprise to my short SF trip

Hyatt always delivers especially if you're doing the whole world of Hyatt credit card thing. Nice place. Restaurants were closed though. Bar closed at 10 but there's a great place across the street. I got upgraded to a corner suite and the view was amazing. Definitely will stay here again.

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. Family of 3 (with a 4 year old). Location is super central. Very close to the BART, easy access to the airport. Location was great. Close to shopping, cable cars & transit. We had a corner room, very comfortable layout, comfy bed, nice shower, small beverage fridge, strong WiFi. It's just one block away from Trader Joe's, which was great for food runs for our kid. Did lots of research while booking as the area has changed, but the hotel is on a good street and we never felt unsafe. There's a Market on the main floor for morning coffee & snacks - they gave us a complimentary $15 card for it when we arrived. Staff was also friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The room was great. The only thing I didn't love was that the shower had a weird half door that was only half closed. Would prefer to be able to close the door all the way. Overall great place

I recently stayed at this hotel for a company conference and it was a great experience overall. The hotel was very clean and nice, with comfortable beds and a great location in the city. The friendly staff made our stay even better, always ensuring our needs were met. The downstairs bar was a nice touch, providing a relaxing atmosphere for after-hours gatherings. The meeting spaces were well equipped and provided a great place for our company conference. Additionally, the room included a nice desk area, perfect for getting work done. The only real downside of our stay was the catered food provided for breakfast and lunch as part of our conference. While the presentation was good, the quality and taste of the food was lacking. Despite this one setback, I would still highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, friendly staff, and great location.

Spent 3 nights at this fantastic hotel. Newly renovated rooms, excellent service, very friendly staff, location was awesome and the views were beautiful! Hotel team was very helpful when we had questions. Our first room had a bit of a plumbing issue, the team took care of it right away and put us in another room, no fuss. House keeping service were very fast and delivered everything we needed. Location is about 5 minute walk to Union Square, 5 minute walk to BART station, plenty of bus stops in the area, SF MoMA about 3 minute walk, super convenient! Definitely recommended for business or for vacation.

Location for this hotel was very good near the SFMOMA otherwise a fairly typical chain high rise hotel. Getting to the drive can be challenging and we missed it the first time and having to circle around due to the one ways was not fun. Otherwise the service was OK, the room was standard and fairly comfy. Nice fridge. Pretty good view. There are other hotels that are similar in price that I would suggest trying first though (Intercontinental, Marriott Marquis, etc.).

This place is great, newly renovated. The staff here are so friendly and were giving out free cookies and water for the guests. The rooms are so clean and beautifully done. The beds are very comfortable with the option to connect your phone to the TV through smart view to watch your own streaming services. The view was beautiful too.

We got one king bed room in forth floor. We could select between 4-9 floor but prefer 4 since we chose city view and we liked to see people! Bed was good it has coffee maker, Starbucks coffee, and Tazo tea! Everything was good. They have tooth brush toothpaste razor and everything you need up on your request! They are fast when you request from front desk. They don’t have buffet breakfast but they have some brief breakfast and you should go and pick it up by your self and bar is open only till 9:45!

I only have nice things to say about this hotel, from check-in to check-out, everything has just been great. The front desk person Simon was very polite and accommodating. The room was pretty spacious, clean and did not have the old smell that was common to old buildings in San Francisco. The bathroom was modern and also spacious with massage bar soap. The elevator was fast, spacious and clean. The American breakfast that came with our accommodation was pretty decent. There's an $80 refundable incidental fee charged upon checkout. We avoided the valet parking from the hotel which was $80 but still ended up paying an Event Day fee of $80 at the Beacon Parking Garage.

Omni never seems to fail us. First time staying here and we will most definitely always be back here when traveling to LA! The staff and service is excellent. Clean rooms, comfy beds and big clean restroom/bath room.

They are renovating the hotel. We had issue with the elevators which caused a little bit of an inconvenience getting up to the room. No microwave in the room was disappointing. Other than that stay was pleasant. Views of the bay were so nice to look at. Close to shopping and restaurants. Traffic heavy at times but it is center downtown which is expected.
