The original Huntington Hotel should be brought back to Nob Hill. Please remove the tacky Scarlet Hôtel decor as it has nothing to do with the landmark hotel's elegant past. Do not destroy the world renowned Big Four Restaurant.

Spent the weekend at this amazing hotel! It's a beautiful, classic building. Rooms are well done, comfortable, big, and have great views thanks to the hotel's vantage point on the top of Nob Hill. The restaurant on site is great. Staff are wonderful. The location is great and very central to many sights in San Francisco. I'll definitely be back!

I have to stay for 11 days. Today is my first day and so far is almost perfect. The downside is that there is not complementary breakfast. However the view is nice, the room is super clean a huge. The bed is soft as all hotel beds. I would prefer something more firm but anyway. It is fine. The hotel is located in steeped hill. The entrance is not on the hill which is nice. I didn't drive so I don't know anything about car accommodation.

I couldn't have been happier. I like a little luxury when I travel (either for fun or work- this time it was for work) and the Huntington did not disappoint. Rooms are super spacious and king size bed was comfy with the softest sheets. Stunning decor. When I complained about hearing traffic in the middle of the night on the first night of my stay, I was moved to a higher floor and a larger room at no extra cost. Staff are friendly and warm, and even gave me tips on the best times to go and see the sea-lions! Overall a fantastic experience and I hope to stay here again.

Loved the location on the park next to Grace Cathedral, as well as the historical nature of the hotel. The bar is just beautiful, and the staff was kind and helpful everywhere. The only negatives are in regards to the pool: it is not actually included for hotel guests -- it is an extra $40/day, and not available at all on weekends unless you book spa services over a certain price. Plus, there is no lap swimming allowed, which was a major disappointment. Otherwise, the stay was delightful and would have been five stars.

I loved staying at this vintage hotel in the middle of Nob Hill. During my visit I walked 5-10 blocks in each direction both uphill and downhill and enjoyed amazing food, shopping, a beautiful park a breakfast cafe, a Trader Joe's and more. There is a restaurant on-site and it's great but the prices are very high and I found excellent options within walkable distance from the hotel that were even better. I walked to Trader Joe's and walked in the opposite direction and both uphill and downhill to a breakfast cafe with good prices. The hotel was beautiful. The lobby was photo-worthy. There's a spa here and spa retail store with pretty items to buy for yourself or as gifts. The staff members were very helpful and professional. My room was spacious and the hotel was very clean.

Absolutely gorgeous old historic hotel right atop Nob Hill. The location is lovely, right across from Nob Hill Park and offering wonderful views of pretty much the whole city. We spent two nights here for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Service is top-notch, extremely prompt and courteous but not obtrusive at all. While everything is far from affordable the value really isn't bad at all for what you're getting, which is a four and a half star experience. We also used the spa during our stay which was an unbelievable experience. The facility is absolutely gorgeous and our "aroma-soul experience" massage was life-affirming. We will definitely be returning to that spa as soon as we can save up for it, hopefully for the 1 year anniversary!

Service by the staff was outstanding. Upgraded our room to a 1bed suite and it was gorgeous. Well appointed and spacious. A definite must for getaways with the wife. The food quality from room service at The Big 4 was amazing 🥰🥰🥰 can't wait to go back.

My first visit to this lovely hotel yesterday and I had quite a comfortable stay. The lobby is quite inviting with their long red couch. The decor is well appointed with such regal colors. The Concierge and Front Desk Staff are very polite and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. We were in a room that adjoined another room with Friends and I got to see a one with two double beds and one king bed. One suggestion I could make would be for the double bed room to have a table for a lady to fix her hair and put makeup on. Bathrooms had all the necessities for one's stay. The views are great since you are on top of the hill. I did not get to see the pool area but Friends said it was quite good. One hotel we will return to.

Lovely classic hotel with old world charm centrally located in Nob Hill. The one bedroom suite was massive and the views were spectacular. The staff was terrific and very accommodating. We stopped into the Big Four Bar on our way out for the evening and it was like stepping back into time with a piano player and rich ornate dark wood surroundings.

Great hotel for a weekend getaway in the city. Staff is friendly. Rooms and large and decor is upscale and modern. Spa has a sauna which is available to all guests, which is amazing. The doormen are super friendly and willing to lend a hand or hail you a cab. I was fortunate to have a corner room which had incredible views of the city.

Stayed here with my wife for our anniversary and we're treated like royalty. Every interaction with the staff was exceptional. Room was large and overlooked the city and the bed was very comfy. Also this was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed at. Would highly recommend if you want to treat yourself.

We had a wonderful time here! We almost didn't want to leave the room to go to our show! But I'm glad I saw the show ;) but the room was beautiful! Very clean and large! The staff was so kind and friendly! It was such a fancy place without being stuffy. We asked questions and they were so nice with their responses like extra towels and instead of being snarky they were very good with their response of "the spa has extra, so you will be ok" of course if we really wanted more they would give us them but I thought that was a nice response when they could have said it differently - if that makes sense. But really all in all our experience was wonderful and we will definitely be coming back! And going to the spa!! Thank you for being an awesome hotel! I'll be telling my friends and family :)
