Great rooms very cozy on the smaller size but with an old building and that location that’s expected. Bathrooms are updated and i loved them personally. Cute boutique hotel in a GREAT area your 3 miles from anything in any direction…union square area is awesome and near many stores and China town and north beach is within walking distance. Good police presence in the area also the staff downstairs is very friendly and the continental breakfast in the 2nd floor was good and better then i expected for a small space…will most def be staying here again next time I’m in the bay….i 100% recommend it and the beds were very comfy also!

The hotel is very central. The rooms are very nice. When you're in San Francisco, you know it's not all that big. A suite is great. You can quickly get to everything worth seeing. There are many breakfast places within walking distance.

This is a really great hotel with fabulous staff and the perfect location. We had a superior king room and it was really spacious. The hotel is just around the corner from union Square. The rooms have a safe and coffee maker. The staff member who was working when we arrived (April 30th around 4pm) was so friendly and helpful, we really appreciated it.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in a while . The location is unbeatable. The staff were super friendly. A big shoutout to Angela and Carlos for making our stay pleasurable. Angela was super kind and she upgraded is to a superior queen room . She and Carlos were always available for any questions and went above and beyond to provide an excellent customer service . The hotel is very clean , safe and quiet . The rooms are charmingly decorated and beds were nice ! The morning breakfast was delicious ( pastries , coffee , fruit , bagels ) and was excellent. The hotel also has reverse osmosis purified drinking water filter which was an added advantage . This hotel is outstanding and I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone . I will definitely stay here next time ! Two thumbs up !

Independent, super cute, of course old, but renovated. The rooms were clean. Windows open to the outside. Lighting in the bathroom perfect for practicing radical appearance accountability. Staff was very lovely and accommodating and parking just around the corner discounted to $35 for 24 hours. (Valet Option at select times) Easy walk to everything near union square. FYI: common areas are small and hallway narrow but of course it’s a cute little hotel in union square. We’d come back!

This place is a hidden gem. When looking for places to stay, the rates here were great in comparison to anything in the area. The resort fees, that seem unavoidable at any hotel, were reasonable and included complimentary breakfast type foods and beverages (fruits, pastries, bagels, Yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, etc.). Location was perfect, less than a block from union square and the cable car stop, a quick cable car ride to fisherman's wharf and ubers were super convenient from this location too. The rooms were the cleanest I've stayed in during travel in years and they were also very quiet on the second floor, considering we were in the middle of a big city. The staff was very pleasant. We arrived early and were offered to pay for early check in or we were able to leave our bags for free in the back room while we checked things out. The hotel is beautiful and I love how they decorated for Halloween. We will definitely consider staying here again! My husband says it's comparable in quality to the Corinthian in London. Our friends say it's the nicest they have ever stayed in. The only Cons I'd say were that the lobby was small and the rooms had a slightly weird configurarion with some areas being cramped and others having tons of space. With that being said it's an old building with character, so it just adds charm.

Great location, right near Union Square. Easy walking distance to looks of great restaurants, coffee places and shopping. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. It had all the basics we needed. The reception was a bit funky, the front door is locked and you need to knock out get a special code but they did not tell us that in advance. There was supposed to be valet parking as well but not when we arrived. We found a good parking garage nearby so it ended up not being a problem. Would stay here again.

I booked a queen room it suppose to come with fridge no fridge. Second room is next to wall no view or other words scary. No Ac it was not mentioned anywhere there was no ac. Extremely hot couldn’t sleep all night. They didn’t mention the timing of breakfast. Don’t forget valet is 50-55 dollars. If you are visiting sf try other hotel. Bed is not comfortable.

Stayed here 5 nights. We had a complimentary upgrade. Location is great, walking distance to food, laundry, sites and shopping. Look forward to the morning bagels and cream cheese and coffee. We were slightly jetlagged so didn't mind breakfast starting at 8am, usually would have preferred breakfast to be available earlier... overall great!

Charming hotel steps from Union Square. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, bed was great. Bathroom was beautiful and nicely provisioned. Breakfast was an intimate affair, since it's served in a small sitting area, with no seating besides a sofa. It was bagels, yogurt, danish, coffee and juice. The building is old, and the halls are very narrow and you hear voices of everyone walking by. There are also street noises, which are to be expected but double-glazed windows would help a lot.

Great value for the money-clean, quiet and centrally located. Professional and very customer oriented staff, especially MaryJane who checked me in. She was courteous, professional and excellent overall. This hotel is a good value option the center of San Francisco.

Angela and the entire staff made my stay here phenomenal. They were all so helpful, polite and professional. The hotel itself is so beautiful, you will feel at home in your room with a twist of style! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in San Francisco!

Although I stayed there around the time kids were graduating high school when there was a graduation party going on right above me all night long, the room itself was beautiful. We told them it was for our anniversary and they had set up a bottle of red wine with 2 wine glasses and some cheese, crackers and fruit on the coffee table for us. The location is awesome...right next to Union Square but not right in it. The prices are great too. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to a friend.

Would give more stars if I could. Did a mother/daughter trip, one week here. Loved everything about this Inn. Quiet at night, clean, close to bus lines, cable cars etc. fantastic room, comfortable bed. Just can’t say enough.

Great service. We needed a wine opener and they lent us a wine opener. They held our baggage and let us explore the city till our check in time which was nice after we arrived 4 hours before check in. We needed a wine opener and they provided a wine opener. We stayed in the speckles suite. It is nice to have that little extra room. And the duel shower is amazing. My wife took advantage of the vanity. The only upgrades would be maybe provide a small kitchenette. Do not charge for early room check-in if the room is ready, really seems silly. Many many affordable great restaurants were in walking distance. My wife was disappointed not having wood available for the advertised fireplace. I would take it off the amenities list on your webpage.

Stephanie and Jorge were the most hospitable, warm and welcoming people I have encountered staying in any hotel. I absolutely loved this property and I would stay here again anytime I am in San Francisco. The rooms were immaculate, and the location is prime, just half a block from Union Square.

We stayed here for three nights, it was a self check in hotel so we received my access code once we had checked in online before arriving. There is a help desk if needed and the staff were friendly. The hotel room itself was very spacious. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. We were very close to everything we wanted to do which was ideal.

This small hotel in the Union Square neighbourhood of San Francisco was a perfect place from which to explore the city. The rooms were very clean, the bed comfortable, and the hotel very quiet despite being in the heart of a busy neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

Area was really nice and hotel was in a good location for our stay. Check and checkout can be done online. Room decor was beautiful. Loved it! The only downside is that there is no parking. I recommend parking in the 24hr parking garage on Post and Mission. They have 24hr security.
