This hotel is a great value with FREE onsite parking. If you are comparing prices, be sure to add the additional parking fees other places charge. The room was clean with plenty of room. The room included a small dining table with two chairs. The Fisherman's Wharf and plenty of good restaurants are within walking distance. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast. Another great thing about this hotel is the no pet policy. No barking dogs or pet stained carpets. THANK YOU! I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here after our Airbnb didn't work out (it wasn't private and we didn't know!) and we were so happy with our choice. The room was clean, comfortable, and the hotel was conveniently located. We also got free parking and the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and one person (Tony) was especially helpful when the garage on the main floor was full and he gave us his spot!!

I can't say enough about this hotel. For the price, it was outstanding and very conveniently located. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again when visiting San Francisco. Safe, clean, comfortable, quiet, casual but detail oriented and roomy.

very nice place, very clean and not too expensive. honestly, only two issues: the TV didn't have an HDMI input, meaning I couldn't connect my devices. also, the vending machines and ice maker in the hallway were basically non-functional. everything else was fantastic though, and the service was great! will likely stay again.

Front desk man was so enthusiastic and seemed like a great guy. Good hotel budget for 18 year olds and plus. Free parking is a big Plus along with the good AC during the heatwaves. Fair prices but the location makes the price look like a steal. a few blocks walkable from the hotel leads you to a great Italian street full of Restaurant to explore. Great hotel

The hotel has three great advantages: 1. Its price is reasonable and relatively good for the city. 2. It has a supervised parking lot. 3. The location of the hotel is very good and comfortable - a few minutes walk from Fisherman's Wharf and a few minutes walk from Lombard Street. However, the hotel also has significant disadvantages. 1. He is very noisy! The hotel is located on a main road from which comes a lot of noise from cars and people. We woke up because of this at 6 AM. It is recommended that the hotel invest some money in normal noise insulation. 2. The water pressure in the shower is simply horrible. The water barely comes out. 3. The receptionist who received us was unprofessional. I explained him that I had paid in advance for the hotel, but he insisted that I hadn't, and so he ended up charging us twice. Later he canceled the double charge, but it caused us unnecessary grief, and delayed us in the middle of the night, forcing us to deal with it instead of being able to go to sleep after a long flight.

Such nice people at the front desk. The rooms are nice. Just not a great view. But, you can walk to so many restaurants and cool places like China Town and Fisherman's Wharf.

The location was perfect. We were 2 adults and 3 kids. the size of the room was great but it wasn't clean enough and the hotel and rooms are out of date. there is no room service during the stay. in addition, our room faced the street and it was very load with the traffic.

The service was really good! Very friendly staff and very helpfull! The room I got had the second bed on another room separated by a door. The second room had no ac on its own and was refrigerated by the same ac as the main one! So if i closed the door i had no ac! But other than that it was good to have that separate room!

I really like the location of this hotel. The only issue I had was the first room we had had a great view of the bay it was amazing. However, when we got back that night, the nightclub right next door was so loud that we couldn't sleep and had to change rooms. The other room did not have a view at all, but we were able to fall asleep.

Could not ask for a better location in San Francisco, close to Pier 39. The parking is tight and limited, but it is free, which is a welcome surprise. The lobby is tiny and not overly inviting, but the rooms are wonderful. They are large, very clean, and very nicely appointed. We had a great view from our window, and the beds enabled us to have a great night's sleep. The price could not be beat. We stayed for 2 nights and would definitely stay here again.

I was really happy with this hotel after reading all of the hotel reviews. We did take ALL of our belongings out of the car (we were there for 3 days) but felt pretty good about the hotel parking. It is in a great location for transportation. The room was really nice. I will definitely stay again and refer any visiting friends!

Clean, decent place to stay overnight, good location, walking distance to enjoy food. Room/furniture is old but nice. In our room, one of the AC not working.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place. Located just a few blocks from everything makes it very convenient. Easy check in/out and Tony the front desk employee was very kind, knowledgeable and just a great guy.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Columbia Inn. The rooms were very clean and the location was near Fisherman's Wharf and many great restaurants. Tony, the hotel clerk, was very, very enjoyable and friendly. I will come away with a new friend. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an enjoyable stay.

I was there only for a day but Tony (front desk person) was very hospitable and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. Nice clean room with a good view if you get the room at the top floor. Affordable price at a very good location and free parking adds it’s own perks. Definitely recommend.

Very good location for the price. Free parking with the counter guy directly looking at the parking lot. They have heated lamps in the bathroom and newly remodeled. The TV are pretty new. The bed is on softer side. Everything was good and very friendly receptionists.

This is a perfect location to stay in San Francisco. The parking is great, it's within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and walking distance of two different trolley car stops the cable cars the bus stops right out front. Also walking distance to Lombard Street. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The rooms had a very nice view. Columbus Street is a busy Street so there is some road noise but the location is well worth it.

I have no complaints at all about this hotel. I was looking for a hotel room in the San Francisco area that had 3 beds and free parking in a safe neighborhood and this one delivered. Great location easily walkable to many eating and shopping options. The room was clean and I thought the beds were very comfortable. We also did not experience any problems with the homeless. I would recommend.

We had to find a last minute room in San Francisco and I came across the Columbus Motor Inn. The price was VERY reasonable (honestly cheap for the location!) and the staff was friendly. The room was CLEAN and well put together. If you get a 3rd floor room, you get a good view of the buildings and SF in general (we could see Alcatraz from our room). We'll definitely be using their services again
