‌ It is the worst hotel in the world. They force you to pay more than the reservation without having a room with minimum facilities. They enter the room without permission and move your belongings. It has rude employees and no security. Never go to this hotel

Good hotel and good rooms and good service

Great location for a night near the airport (Sabiha). Many bakeries, restaurants and shops very close to the hotel. Reasonable price, clean rooms and helpful staff. Our only problem was the bed - slighly tilted to one side, I almost fell off it during the night.

This hotel is so good and all the staff was friendly especially night staff Sidar and Yusuf and if i have another trip to Istanbul in the coming months i will reserve in this hotel

Patient staff and great room service. Traveling from America, I wanted to find a hotel that was affordable but with the right amenities. Grand Merin Hotel did just that. Grand Merin Hotel is far away from Istanbul, but you'll have immediately access to BLUE SMALL BUSES (7liras) outside your hotel that will take you to Kartal Metro and then into Istanbul. For those of you who want quiet and seclusion but want to see city traffic, this hotel can provide that. Every morning I see an older gentleman from outside my hotel window sitting on the sidewalk waxing shoes, while men, women, and children are weaving through traffic to get to the other side of the street. This is Hotel do have non-smoking room but very honest if you smell smoking on your floor and that it bothers you. The staff here will resolve the situation within 24 hours without causing trouble with other guests.

Good costumer service. However the bedroom was really smeling smoking. People were smoking inside room. Hotel worth for it's price.

Hotelstaff is very friendly and they have honestly one of the best staff I have seen in hotels in general. The rooms are nice and clean what is the most important for me. The price is very cheap and The street where the hotel is full with nice restaurants and I would recommend Kösk Cafe Restaurant for nice fresh food for a good price. They also have affordable prices for their restaurant inside their hotel, that is open 24 hours/7 days a week. I would recommend everyone that wants to stay in Istanbul during their Holiday, to get a room in this hotel. See you next time in 3 weeks!
