Owner is friendly. Getting around tips upon arrival. Location is a big plus point. Taxi stand right at the door. Several bus and metro station 5-10min walk from guesthouse. Rooms are clean. The only limitation is that the partition in between rooms is thin hence able to hear conversation next door.

Excellent hotel! Andrea is very attentive and available, I recommend to have talk with him about Barcelona best places to eat and about spanish wines. The rooms are very clean, have comfortable beds and beautiful masterpieces on the walls. Looking foward to return in Barcelona and stay more days in this hotel.

Where do I begin?!? We were warmly greeted by Andrea at Zoorooms who quickly let us in and gave us someixj needed information as this was our first time in Barcelona. He is literally a gem! We have never met someone so kind and thoughtful as him. He made our stay at Zoorooms an exceptional and memorable one. The room we got was comfortable quite large. But the shining star was the terrace!!! It's unassuming but just one of those places that your memory will always return to. The sounds, the smell, the colors and feel of of it will be ingrained in my mind forever. It's one of those places where you'll have to come back. Andrea made us feel like family and that was so important to us. We felt safe and secure at every moment. This stay in Barcelona was incredible because we were right in where the locals live, eat, shop and gather. To be in the middle of it all was a great experience too. I can't stress enough how wonderful Andrea is and how lovely your stay will be as well! Do remember that this is more of a hostel. The room we had has a private bathroom so it was perfect for us and our need to explore the city!

One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. Simply amazing. Kind and helpful staff. Amazing location - easy to walk to popular places from here. Amazing terrace. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the back. The hammocks and patio furniture are so nice to relax in. The beds were comfy and clean. All amenities were available, there was even extra sunscreen. You have access to a kitchen too. The showers were nice -rainfall shower-head. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a great find! An amazing place with really interesting décor in a fantastic location for Barcelona sightseeing. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and our custom valued. Andrea was a real ambassador for Barcelona and full of amusing anecdotes in the evening when he took time to chat with us in the terrace haven at the rear of the hotel. Special thanks Andrea for taking the time to organise our early morning taxi to the airport. Please convey our regards to your Ukrainian taxi driver friend, who turned up 10 minutes early to collect us as you said he would and drove so professionally.

Great little collection of rooms with a really nice, massive hangout rooftop style patio with some hammocks. Andréa was incredibly friendly and informative, gave us tons of recommendations of places to go (and avoid). Shared fridge (with own sections per room) and kitchen area. He even facilitated getting our (lost) luggage back to us.

Superb location. Great amenities, super clean. What's not to love? Zoo Rooms is a must. Andrea and Steve were really helpful and full of good tips!

Andrea, gracias from Simon and Anne!! I had the most exceptional stay at this guesthouse. I had some travelling delay and Andrea, the host, kindly waited for me for an hour and still took all the time to show me around the amazing appartment and gave me the best recommendations for restaurants, art, music, and bakeries around Barcelona. Throughout the days he was available for more recommendations and nice chats. The friendliest and most personal, thoughtful host I've ever had! On top of that our room was beautiful and clean, loved the art and the interior. The rest of the appartment felt like a home (but better ;)). Nice kitchen and living room, common snacks and water available, not noisy at all, and an amazing terrace that's even good to sit on in November. The location was superb as well. I was sad to leave, I will 100% be coming back and cannot recommend this place enough.

We came from portugal to spend a couple of days in Barcelona. The guesthouse it's very well located , very close to the downtown which made us to be very close to all point of interest. At the arrival we were very well welcomed. They allowed us to make the check-in right away and they had the time to indicate on the map the must go places and restaurants to eat. The room was very nice, and with a typical decoration. On the last day we had to get up really early in the morning to go to the airport and it was fine for them. For all de this I am really thankful for the hospitality and warmth welcome.

From the moment we entered the hosts made us feel so welcome, it was an amazing two days cannot recommend this place enough, andreas is super attentive to anything you need, cannot say enough about this place, really really good experience highly highly recommend if your travelling or need a place to stay short term. Plus the terrace with hammocks was such a vibe in itself.

Fantastic thanks to the team at ZooRooms. Great rooms, with access to kitchens and a lovely terrace. Local metro access in a 5min walk. Local guide help for your whole visit, places to eat, things to do and see. The time taken to advise us was really appreciated. We had a great time and would highly recommend 👌 👍

The guesthouse is located in a great location central to most of Barcelona attractions. A lot of places to eat around even if demanding (kids). Nearby there is a local market which is great for a breakfast and most of attractions are easy to get to, either by nearby metro, bus or by foot. The host, Andrea, amazing host, explained the topology of the city, recommended places to visit and eat.

Very nice and cosy place! The room we had was great and because of the shared kitchen there was some nice interaction with other guests. Additionally, there is a huge enclosed common terrace/balcony for chilling and sunbathing without disturbance from people that are not staying there. The central location in Barcelona allows foottravel to most tourist attractions. Lastly, the guys working there were very nice and helpful! We can definitely recommend staying there!
