Review is for the restaurant, which I went to for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Food was delicious and gourmet. I had the squid and lobster; the lobster in particular was huge and incredibly well presented. Mille crepe dessert hit the spot too. The hotel’s ambiance was also beautiful with the piano and the pool and old school architecture combining for a magical feel. Highly recommend the food, and the hotel rooms looked very nice from visiting my friends suite.

I had dinner with a group of friends at Panza Verde while visiting Antigua and it was my favorite place we had dinner in Antigua. The setting was lovely and the food was delicious!! We sat next to the courtyard which was perfect for our group, definitely recommend making a reservation here for dinner if you’re planning on visiting. It is on the higher cost, but definitely worth it!

We stayed her for two nights and all we can say is WOW! Such a beautiful boutique hotel. It has that amazing old charm but it’s kept in very good condition. It is a very typical local hotel in that the rooms surround the courtyard, depending on your room there may be some noise from diners in the restaurant but for us it was not a problem at all. Everyone who works there from the reception to cleaning and wait staff are absolutely top notch! Very professional and accommodating. We would 100% come back in a heartbeat! They are at a great location in the city so there’s not too much traffic and noise around. We absolutely recommend having dinner here as well, actually any meal to be honest, but the food and service are phenomenal! Can’t recommend this place enough.

I stayed 2 nights, it’s a unique place, all of their rooms are different, the beds are not very comfy but I enjoyed my stay, the staff is very friendly and attentive. They accommodated my requests with no problem. I highly recommend it.

Absurdly picturesque spot in Antigua. The rooftop has a small museum and feels like a playground for adults, with one terrace leading to another full of nooks, all with spectacular views. We dined here as part of a local program and had a large group with a limited/custom menu, but based on this visit I'd absolutely return. Not only is the restaurant impeccably clean and well decorated, it has some of the best service in town. The olive tapenade is incredible, and the roasted eggplant was perfectly cooked and seasoned.

This is not our first time at The meson panza verde, and I feel really disappointed because last night we found some bugs in our bed. After calling to reception and checking the bugs they decided to change us to different room. This morning at the check out they gaslight us saying that the couldn’t find any bugs… when the guy the night before saw the bugs crawling in the pillows. Any way not coming back, maybe was bad luck but that is unacceptable for a $220ish dollar/ night. Update: Sadly the gaslight continues after all. And no courtesy dinner was offer to us just to be clear.

Gorgeous hotel with an excellent restaurant inside. If not too busy they'll even serve you breakfast in the rooftop terrace!! Stunning views from up there as well. Our king suite was beautiful with a nice bath tub (room #11). A very nice breakfast is included as is a welcome cocktail. Also, this was the softest mattress I've slept on in Antigua yet, which was really nice. Few minor cons: No screen to keep bugs out & room gets warm with windows closed. Mosquitoes are fierce in Antigua! But this is common to every single hotel I stayed at here in Antigua. The room is a bit warm but they provide a fan. The hotel is about 7min walk from center of city, cafes, etc. No big deal for me as i love to walk. Also it's much quieter as a result at night.

Did not stay at hotel but had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Food was delicious - table ordered the pork belly appetizer, steak au poivre, and the garlic shrimp. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal in Antigua.

A local recommended to visit the Panza Verde Restaurant and we are extremely glad we did. Since the moment you walk into this gorgeous hotel it was like traveling in time to a memorizing place. The service was outstanding, the presentation of the food was impeccable. The selection of dishes in the menu are very clever and the flavors were so tasty, that we surly will be back. We look forward to stay in this beautiful hotel and enjoy more delicious food. Highly recommended!!

Review about the restaurant only. At first got an offer to sit by the live music because all the tables “were booked” but fortunately they “found” one that wasn’t in the terrace area. Service was efficient. Nice salad and chicken with mashed and bacon. Good wine selection. Cozy venue.

Can’t recommend the hotel enough. It is beautiful!!!!!! Rooms were huge, well serviced and clean. Food was delicious too - if not just slightly expensive. View from the terrace is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

A dreamy hotel , worth the short walk from the “town center”. The rooms were fabulous , each unique in their decor and offerings. We had a fabulous dinner here, the cocktails were amazing, as well! Highly recommend for an upscale stay in Antigua

Fantastic experience. Beautiful historic luxury hotel, great location to central Antigua, amazing staff, ridiculously good food. Will arrange transportation to and from Guatemala City airport, as well as scenic tours. Family had a wonderful time.

We absolutely loved our stay here! From the beautiful room, to all of the incredible spaces in the garden, to the wonderful service, this place is fabulous. The waiters were so very kind, remembering my son’s name and talking with him everyday. They made him feel really comfortable. My son was sad to leave as the felt he had made friends! I was grateful we started our trip here as it was really wonderful. Stay here and you will be cared for and will enjoy your stay! Oh and the restaurant was downright incredible. We had a lovely dinner there.

The pool it’s a beautiful decoration in the restaurant. Service exquisite. Big rooms with local decoration. There’s no AC in the rooms, only one fan to cool down a little bit but it’s not enough. It’s complicated have the windows open because the mosquitos. Not all the rooms have a google chrome, this is another wrong information in their web. In general im not happy. I will Definitely come back to La Antigua but not this hotel. The service it’s good but the hotel it’s not enough. You have better quality hotels around for the same price. Santo Domingo for example.

You should not miss their Brunch. Definitely TOP 3 Brunch in Antigua Guatemala. All the dishes we've tried there are so good, accompanied by a little twist of flavor and top quality ingredients. The attention of the waiters is good and the waiting time was great, approx. 15-20 minutes to receive our order. During the wait we received delicious buns with butter and elderberry jam. A great place to kick off our Sunday, we will definitely be going back.

The best place to stay in Antigua. Outstanding accommodation in a magical setting, complete with interior gardens, a rooftop terrace with multiple sitting options, and a very inviting lap pool. Wonderful food and drinks, luxurious rooms with many personal touches, and extremely friendly and engaging staff. We were treated like royalty. The Grand Suite is to die for!

Meson Panza Verde is an amazing hotel. We had a great time staying there for for 7 days. The place is clean and classy. Customer service is behind satisfaction. Due to flight change we had to stay one more day and was wishing to extend our stay. Unfortunately they were all booked today. But special thanks to the beautiful and most helpful concierge's assistance, we were able to find another place to stay. The whole experience were super. 100% would recommend!

Came here for Sunday brunch and it was amazing. The service was incredible, and the food tasted amazing. I got the steak and eggs, and it was so good! My wife got the eggs Benedict and said it was also amazing. Definitely would recommend.

Very good! We enjoyed the restaurant and the food. The service was great. This was a little pricey but well worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Top 5 brunches in my life! The service was outstanding. The restaurant is gorgeous - we had a nice little table by the water fountain. We ordered the breakfast sampler which was the perfect amount of food for 2 people. The standouts were the avocado toast, polenta cakes, and french toast (crispy on the outside/soft on the inside/not too sweet)

Christmas Dinner 2022 was phenomenal! Each dish was carefully prepared and we left satisfied! The chefs are well skilled and know what they are doing. Our waiter Noe treated us very nice.

This was such a charming hotel. The pictures do not do it justice. The staff was helpful. We were only there for 1 night and didn't get to try the restaurant on-site. We had a room with 2 double beds. It had a private patio and a cute little fire place. Will definitely stay here again!

Restaurant review - everything was great, great food, friendly staff. But service was lacking, waiter didn’t come to refill wine or water, we had to constantly ask for services. Total of US $400 spent here… service should’ve been on point

Such a beautiful place! The rooms were nice, clean & comfy! The staff was so welcoming & loving, cant thank them enough for such an amazing experience! Beautiful all around, from ground floor, up to the beautiful roof top views! The food was outstanding!! Drinks amazing! 5 stars all around.

Great hotel, cheap cheap WiFi unforgivable!! Room are great, the ambiance is nice, romantic and clasic Antigua Guatemala Style. They need to invest more in decent wifi. If you plan to work or basically do anything that requires internet find another hotel. I can't send emails or do zoom/Teams calls. Very sad. No smart TV with Netflix either obviously!! Very sad at the price you pay, you should get decent internet

This has been one of the most wonderful hotels I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. The hotel is so so beautiful and full of hidden magical corners, it makes you feel as if you are in a mini Hogwarts. Hehe. The staff is very nice, everything is immaculately clean and well maintained. They have a great restaurant, bar, live music and events. The pool area is also very beautiful, almost reminds you of a Moroccan riad. For anyone staying in Antigua, I could not recommend this hotel more. Sure there are great hotels out there...but as magical as this one? I highly doubt it. I fell in love, and could have stayed forever. 10/10

Truly a unique experience. This restaurant serves a fresh perspective on food while respecting classic ideas of culinary art. The ambiance is so romantic. Your might fall in love with the person you’re coming with but you definitely will leave infatuated with the place. Rare Gem Restaurant in the world.

🌹 Lovely atmosphere in the rooms, restaurant, bar and common areas. (Terraces are semi private, which is not ideal) 🍽 Fine dining menu experience. 🍸 Very nice bar. Get a Negroni! ☺️ The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A bit too much with the morning calls to remind you to have breakfast though. 😎 In general a GOOD experience.

👍👍 A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

👍👍 We love Luna de Miel and have come here three times on three separate visits to Antigua- we live in the capital. My husband has ordered the Chipotle twice, and the Tejana. I’ve had the Creciente, Parisina, and I honestly can’t remember the first one I ordered a couple years ago, but they’ve all been...
