Enchanted café with incredible atmosphere 🧙🏼‍♀️Recommended cocktails: Poison No.7, Unicorn Essence, and Dragon’s Breath. The tapas I recommend are: the goat cheese, apple, and pesto breads. Service is so good! Ivan, the owner, is so nice and even had a glass of wine with us while we played cards against humanity. The details and personal touches really complete the medieval vibes. 🧜🏻‍♀️🦄🐉🏰

El Alquimista is quickly becoming the hottest spot in Antigua! I first came here for a friend’s birthday party and came back for one of their themed trivia nights and had a blast. The owner has a special charm that creates a welcoming ambiance. Both times I went, he was performing double duty as a host and in creating stellar cocktails. His passion clearly shines through with every interaction and detail of the place. While the inside is cozy, they also have a beautiful small courtyard and a rooftop. I’ll definitely be returning my next visit to Antigua.

A magical place to have a drink - cocktails, tea, or coffee. Color changing experiences for your taste buds! If you love Harry Potter come and have a butterbeer and a chocolate frog! Ask for a board game and enjoy their terrace.

Any time you can get to the third floor of a building in Antigua you are guarannteed a fantastic view. Combine that with good beer, lively crowds and quality live music and you cannot go wrong. A speak-easy style cocktail bar has hidden charms but is a well know secret that is worth exploring!

This bar was something so unique and special in Antigua! They have a great list of cocktails! They terrace on the top also had amazing views of Antigua that was an added plus. We loved how true this bars theme was. The drink specials and trivia night were an added bonus! I would highly recommend this bar if you are visiting Antigua! The bartender was really nice and helpful too during my visit. I cannot wait to visit this bar again when I return!

Great drinks, great vibes, great view. :) El Alquimista has a magical, witchy theme with both decor and drinks. My favorite drinks are their Butterbeer and the Jamaica juice (not together, obviously). The owner, Ivan, genuinely cares about the customer experience and he hosts a number of community-focused events, from trivia to language exchanges. I even had my birthday party there so private events are possible too! A wonderful experience to have if you're visiting Antigua or want to stick around for the witchy vibes. Check out the view from the terrace too, it's beautiful.

El Alquimista Café Bar is such a great spot in Antigua. I especially love the wide array of events they host- there's always something fun happening there! They opened their doors for me to put on a flower crown workshop and we had a great turnout and were treated great by their kind and attentive staff. And you've just got to try the Butter Beer - it's delicious!

Wanting to take magic into your own hands? Visit the Alquimista Café Bar in Antigua, Guatemala. It is a beautiful bar with a terraced-rooftop. The lights, music, and decorations add to the magical ambiance. Their fresh-served potions are delicious. I will definitely be coming back here.

El Alquimista is a wonderful little spot. They have the best drinks in Antigua--cocktails and mocktails! The food that my friend and I had was delicious, and I can't wait to try more of their menu. It's a great place to go with friends or go alone and sit at the bar to watch the bartender make his magical drinks!

This place is so magical, I had a coffee accompanied with a delicious poisoned apple cake while enjoying a beautiful sunset in the terrace. The owner Ivan was there so we got to chat and he's super welcoming and nice. Overall, amazing theming, great vibes and delicious food and drink. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try more options before flying back home.

Cozy atmosphere, great drinks. I got the butter beer and it was the perfect balance between the ginger beer and the liquor. I also attended the language exchange event on Wednesday night and had a pleasant time learning about the different legends in Guatemala. If you are in Antigua, I highly recommend this place. You are in for a treat.

Gorgeous stone statues elegantly guard, while sipping creative and interactive potion mixing cocktails. The interior is a visual respite, with elevated Harry Potter hints in the decor. hints. The owner, kind, attentive, and accommodates even the snootiest of girlfriends! See you next trip, keep being magical!

I loved this place. It’s a great bar, awesome rooftop to spend chilled afternoons and a quirky bar that makes it stand out from the crowd. The cocktails are unique and tasty and there are always great happy hour deals to be had. Ivan is the business owner and his passion for what he does comes through- he’s also super cute! This is a hidden gem not to be missed! 🙂🙂

👍👍 A must-see and do in Guatemala. This is not only a restaurant but also a museum and garden. The food is phenomenal. The views from all angles of this large location are amazing. If there is a long wait to eat, don't worry. It takes about an hour to walk the property and enjoy what it has to offer.

👍👍 We love Luna de Miel and have come here three times on three separate visits to Antigua- we live in the capital. My husband has ordered the Chipotle twice, and the Tejana. I’ve had the Creciente, Parisina, and I honestly can’t remember the first one I ordered a couple years ago, but they’ve all been...
