Service is so good! Ivan, the owner, is so nice and even had a glass of wine with us while we played cards against humanity. El Alquimista is quickly becoming the hottest spot in Antigua! I first came here for a friend’s birthday party and came back for one of their themed trivia nights and had a blast. The owner has a special charm that creates a welcoming ambiance. Both times I went, he was performing double duty as a host and in creating stellar cocktails. His passion clearly shines through with every interaction and detail of the place. While the inside is cozy, they also have a beautiful small courtyard and a rooftop. I’ll definitely be returning my next visit to Antigua.

This bar was something so unique and special in Antigua! They have a great list of cocktails! They terrace on the top also had amazing views of Antigua that was an added plus. We loved how true this bars theme was. The drink specials and trivia night were an added bonus! I would highly recommend this bar if you are visiting Antigua! The bartender was really nice and helpful too during my visit. I cannot wait to visit this bar again when I return!

My favorite drinks are their Butterbeer and the Jamaica juice (not together, obviously). The owner, Ivan, genuinely cares about the customer experience and he hosts a number of community-focused events, from trivia to language exchanges. I even had my birthday party there so private events are possible too! A wonderful experience to have if you're visiting Antigua or want to stick around for the witchy vibes. Check out the view from the terrace too, it's beautiful.

They opened their doors for me to put on a flower crown workshop and we had a great turnout and were treated great by their kind and attentive staff.
