    We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is not only beautiful but also conveniently located, just a short walk from the marina, the old town, and a delightful array of restaurants and grocery stores. The staff at the hotel were exceptional, always attentive and helpful. This was particularly appreciated as I was traveling with a senior family member. The breakfast was delicious. One highlight of our stay was the rooftop, which was absolutely fantastic. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

    Staff was awesome all around. From the front desk to the staff on the roof bar. Very friendly and happy all around. I got stuck in the elevator when the power went out due to it being very hot in Santa Marta but the power came back within a couple minutes. Not the hotels fault but maybe not a bad idea to invest in solar panels and battery banks or a generator. Will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future when I visit Santa Marta!

    My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel twice during December and January 2022-2023. I am a loyal Hilton Honors member, and this hotel was as good or better than any hotel in North America. First of all, the staff was fantastic, and the hotel amenities were great. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms with nice washrooms. The restaurant service was excellent, especially the breakfast had a lot of variety (including local dishes) compared to any other Hilton Hotel. During our second stay, I decided to propose to my girlfriend, and I approached the Service Manager (Jose), who was very kind and helpful from the beginning. Jose and his staff helped me every step of the way, and they came up with the perfect setting for such a special moment. - Great rooftop bar, pool, and views on the Santa Marta waterfront. Walkable to the nightlife and tourist areas. - Spotless and tidy rooms. 100% recommended! One of the best Hilton and any other similar hotels I have stayed at worldwide

    Fantastic staff!! We stayed there for a week. We speak almost no Spanish. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms with a huge shower. Plenty of hot water. A/C kept the room cold. Great rooftop bar and pool. I can't say enough about the staff. This hotel was as good or better than any hotel in the US.

    We had a great experience in this hotel. The area is very quiet, the hotel is clean and nearby the center and super markets and the staff is really friendly ❤️. We were sick in there and they took very good care of us preparing even special dishes for destroyed stomaches like ours 😅.

    This hotel was a shock for us in terms service and food. The day we checked in we wanted to have lunch and tried out the restaurant in the hotel. The food was below average specifically the pork dish that a friend ordered was so dry. We didn't have a great experience with breakfast as well. I have stayed in much lesser rated hotels in costa rica but our experience have always been good. The front desk charged us for additional beers that we didn't buy from the shop inside. I contested it and the concierge said they will verify through video and we waited for 15 mins and they couldn't provide any evidence of that. Finally had to pay as we were getting late to checkout. Also they didn't care calling the taxi for our airport transfer, we got one from the street. Neither do they help in moving the luggage to your room. It's to be done by ourselves. They should probably advertise Hilton with no service. I will not recommend this place.

    Unfortunately this hotel can not live up to the standart I expect of a Hilton Garden Inn. The bathroom in the room has not been kept in a good condition the panorama window on the top floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages and both treadmills in the gym were broken. Management could defenitely do a better job here! On the upside great breakfast and great location with a nice view on the upper floors.

    Cold water. A weird noise woke us up at 4:30 am. Called multiple times the front desk but they weren't willing to figure out what was wrong until the third 3. Around 6:30 am they fixed it. Then we came back at 2 pm. Same weird sound. They gave us a new room (not a better room) worse view. That one was not too bad. I didn't check the restaurant but I saw people with takeaway from other places (rappi). Draw our own conclusions from that

    The hotel is clean, room is good, food is fine, promotion on cocktail everyday 2×1. Small swimming pool on roof top. Housekeeping don't change the bed sheets or towels unless you asked.

    Booked two rooms (1004 and 1104) for a short family trip. The rooms are big, modern and clean. All the employees without exception were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Many thanks for everything. Definitely booking again the next time I go to Santa Marta.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff exuded professionalism and warmth, making check-in a breeze and offering helpful insights about the area. The amenities were top-notch. The fitness center was functional, and the pool was the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which is a must for me, and the business center was convenient for getting some last-minute work done. Customer service was exceptional. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Whether it was extra towels or dining recommendations, they were always there to help. Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was varied and delicious, with options to suit all kinds of dietary needs. The quality of the food was excellent, and the dining area was kept immaculate.     The Hilton Santa Marta is great. Being a Hilton Diamond member, I am very brand loyal, but also give credit where credit is due. The hotel staff, cleanliness, care of the property, location and breakfast were all outstanding. The breakfast in the morning is full service, which available options for lunch & dinner too. The rooftop terrace/bar & pool is the place to be in the evenings. 10/10 would stay here again.

    Very clean and modern hotel with a centralized location. The hotel staff were very professional from the security team/doormen, to the gift kiosk attendants to the bartenders and lobby staff. The hotel provides personnel to assist in arranging day trips (We recommend setting up the trip a day in advance as the trips often depart early in the day). The hotel room was cleaned each day and the breakfast buffet had healthy options. Very satisfied with our stay here. Great rooftop bar. You must try the salchipapa!!!

    Overall nice. Low water pressure in shower. Pretty stingy with in-room coffee and sugar. No creamer. Have to buy water after first night. Need a mask? Buy one.

    Stay away if you feel if you expect service like most Hiltons, its a 2 star hotel that has thrown up a Hilton logo and charges same prices ( even for water). They don’t care if you are a Hilton honors member. Staff are general good, management is not.

    Our family of 4 (kids 10 and 12) stayed a total of 7 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn and we are very satisfied with our stay. The location is close to the action but quiet and safe, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and we spent quite a few afternoons at the rooftop bar and pool. We especially appreciated the breakfast buffet and the lovely staff that greeted us every morning. A special thank you to Sebastian, Wilmar, Michael, Gisela and Yeismy.

    Title: Disappointing Experience with Hilton Santa Marta Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently stayed at the Hilton Santa Marta during my visit to this beautiful coastal city in March 2023. While the hotel had its merits, I had an unfortunate experience that left me dissatisfied and frustrated. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a courteous and professional staff who efficiently checked me in. The lobby was elegant and welcoming, creating a positive first impression. The overall ambiance of the hotel was pleasant, with modern decor and well-maintained common areas. However, my stay took a turn for the worse when I encountered a significant issue in my room. I regret to inform fellow travelers that my stay at the Hilton Santa Marta was marred by a serious problem with bugs. Despite taking all necessary precautions, I was bitten multiple times during the night, which severely impacted the quality of my sleep and overall comfort. The following morning, I immediately contacted the hotel staff to express my concerns and seek a resolution. The initial response from the hotel was prompt, and I appreciated their willingness to address the issue. However, despite several email exchanges, no satisfactory resolution was reached. I felt disappointed and let down by the lack of compensation or even a genuine acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. As a loyal Hilton customer, I had higher expectations for guest satisfaction and effective problem resolution. It was disheartening to receive what felt like generic responses that failed to address the core issue at hand. I believe that a situation of this nature should have been handled with greater care and urgency. While my experience with the bugs was undoubtedly unpleasant, I must acknowledge some positive aspects of the Hilton Santa Marta. The hotel's location was excellent, offering convenient access to popular attractions and beautiful beaches.     Modern and very clean rooms with view of the ocean and great bathrooms. Rooftop pool and bar were also beautiful and a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. Friendly and attentive service as well. Less than 10min walk from the old town where there are many bars and restaurants.

    Room floors were disgusting. I had stayed here after hiking and wanted a nice relaxing stay, but we were on the 15th floor and on the 17th they were working on the pool at night. All we heard was hammering ALL NIGHT LONG for 2 nights. they said we couldn't move rooms or get a refund. Stayed a few more nights in a different room and it was windy. There was a loud flapping noise all night, they said sorry not our problem. The 4th night wasn't bad. But for 3 out 4 nights to be terrible at your prices is very unfortunate! Will never stay at a Hilton again

    Very comfy and quiet hotel with great view and very helpful personnel who is always trying to help you. As like with other places in Colombia, if you do not speal English, you might have an issue to find somebody who does except the reception. There is always somebody capable of English. Decent breakfast and cool pool can make your staying in Santa Marta more enjoyble.

    A very nice, clean hotel in town with access to many places of interest. The restaurant is 1st class! The staff is wonderful. The fitness room is not much but you can walk miles around town. Staff are incredibly polite. HUGE breakfast bar. No English channels on TV, not even one news channel. Bring an HDMI cable and run off your laptop.

    Worth the money. Its location is great. There is a supermarket right in front with great international products. Nice food and walks around. Accessible, the reception is on deck 3. Rooms are spacious and well lit. Staff are friendly and the facilities are outstanding.

    Nice hotel. Nice Amenities. lol Of course the staff is predominantly as bad as it gets with clue of customer service and general respect. Someday they will wake up to this realization. With clients, good bad or indifferent, I would encourage all employees to treat and talk to guest with the utmost respect. Business fail or at least experience a dramatic and exponential response to bad reviews. So easy to build and even easier to destroy.

    Great hotel super comfortable bed, great staff and amazing breakfast buffet. Also beautiful rooftop pool and great views on the waterfront in Santa Marta. Walkable to the nightlife and tourist areas. We spent a night here after spending a week in the jungle “roughing it.” The hot water was especially appreciated. Great shower also. Perfect all around-

    Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Good food. Lovely views, especially from the rooftop pool. The location is great for walking to the Malecon, and it's an easy walk to Parque de Los Novios. Absolutely no negatives!

    Really enjoyed everything here. Pool is fantastic and staff at the pool are awesome. Wilmar probably makes the best Mojito in the world. You will sleep good for sure as beds are great.
