I recently stayed at Hotel Boutique Don Pepe, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived and was welcomed with a refreshing drink, I knew that this hotel was something special. The beautiful courtyard, rooftop, and pool all made for an incredibly relaxing atmosphere, and I immediately felt at ease. But it wasn't just the stunning design that made my stay so enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish made fresh and with great care. I could tell that the chefs used only the finest ingredients, and it really showed in the flavor and quality of the meals. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff, went out of their way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable and memorable. And special thanks to both Felipe, and Maria, who helped me book a hotel in Palomino and even arranged for a nail technician to come to the hotel. It's that kind of personalized service that really sets Hotel Boutique Don Pepe apart from other hotels. I also appreciated the attention to health and safety during my stay. The hotel takes the health of its guests very seriously, and I felt safe and looked after throughout my stay. Overall, I can't recommend Hotel Boutique Don Pepe enough. It's a truly special hotel with exceptional service, delicious food, and a stunning design. If you're looking for a memorable and relaxing hotel experience in Santa Marta, this is definitely the place to stay.

From the moment we arrived, Don Pepe exceeded our expectations. Maria was incredibly attentive and kind, welcoming us with drinks, questions about our trip, and even giving us a tour of the hotel. The rooms are simply incredible: luxury meets history. On top of all that, the location cannot be beat and the service is exceptional. Every morning we would start with a delicious breakfast, and Edgar was such a friendly face. He even learned about my unhealthy coffee habits and would have a cup ready first thing in the morning. Don Pepe sets the bar for what a luxury hotel should be. I will always remember Don Pepe and the incredible staff there, and will look forward to visiting again soon!

We stayed at Don Pepe for 4 nights. It’s a nice hotel. The room was nice but small. The employees are extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel needs to be a little updated. The roof top is super relaxing. The food was great. Upon arrival they greet you with lulo drinks which is a plus. They have parking too. Our stay included breakfast and it was really good. The hotel is in a great location. The National park was close during our stay, however, the staff offered recommendations of different activities to do. The only con was that our room was very noisy, we could hear people walking and talking outside of the hotel. Not sure if that was only our room or if that is for all rooms. Overall we recommended this hotel we had a great time!

Hotel Don Pepe is definitely a touch of luxury in the middle of historic Santa Marta. While this isn’t directly on the beach, it’s 2 minute walk to the main beach promenade. Additionally, it’s incredibly close the main pedestrian activity of the town. I’d say the winning feature of the hotel is the incredibly attentive service and how friendly the staff was. We stayed here for 5 nights and were certainly sad when we needed to leave

I absolutely fell in love with this hotel. It has a beautiful patio design and a very caring staff. Everything is very thoughtfully done, you’re welcomed with a Lulada drink as soon as you arrive. The room was spectacular with high ceilings and the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a long time! The internet works very well on the ground floor so it’s perfect if you need to work a little. The location is perfect. And to top it off, the spa is also great, highly recommend. I liked it so much I’ve already booked my next stay!

My partner and I had the best time at Hotel Boutique Don Pepe. I would like to thank the staff, especially the receptionists Ms. Maria Arango and Ms. Cilene Parejo, for being so accommodating. They always responded promptly to my emails, and they helped me prepare the most unforgettable Día de Amor y Amistad dinner for my partner, complete with a flower arrangement and live violin music! The breakfast is complementary, and it is delicious, authentic Colombian cuisine. We also ordered lunch and the hotel truly serves high-quality food! The in-house spa was also amazing. My partner and I did the "Arrecifes" full-body massage--highly recommend! They also offer facial treatments. The location is unbeatable; only a walk away from the bay, and very close to the nightlife scene of the city center. The hotel rooms have amazing sound and temperature insulation, so the noise and heat from outside won't be affecting your comfort. As a history-lover, I truly enjoyed experiencing a weekend romantic stay at this storied place. I will definitely be back someday. I cannot recommend this place enough! 5/5 stars!!

Hotel Boutique Don Pepe was perfectly located in the heart of Santa Marta. It provided the perfect balance of being close to restaurants and bars and a perfect place to launch from for all the activities available in Santa Marta! The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to find us a take out pizza late at night and were always kind and welcoming. The view from the top of the hotel is spectacular at sunset. Rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. If you’re visiting Santa Marta and are looking for a fun tour check out the e-bike tour of the city and the beaches… it was superb! Also don’t miss Tayrona Park… take the horses… great experience horseback riding through giant boulders!

Coming from Italy, I have been at Don Pepe for one night, and has been a wonderful experience. The whole structure and the rooms are provided of everything needed and more, and they are in a perfect condition. The vibe felt within the hotel is unmatchable. The staff (English speaking) has been very professional, kind and helpful in arranging the transportation to Cartagena in all safety. Breakfast is with no doubt one of the best ever had, and definitely the best had across all my trip to Colombia. Hotel position is central and therefore excellent. Cannot be more satisfied of the night spent in Santa Marta. Thanks.

The location is pretty good and the common parts of the hotel are quite attractive also with roof terraces. The service is very diligent and smily. However, our room was unattractive, dark, not as per my request for a double room. I don't know how are the other rooms but you should be careful to check them.

Unfortunately, we didn't feel welcomed with the receptionist who first refused our reservation because of our ID. We just felt like it was racism! For the price we paid, it was so disappointing and unacceptable to be treated like this! Because of her, I can't tell that I had a very good experience but the rest was great with very comfortable beds. Breakfast could be better with more choices.

We absolutely loved our stay at Don Pepe!! The rooms are stunningly gorgeous with unique luxury touches. The staff went above and beyond for us... I cannot rave enough about their kindness! Food was consistently phenomenal. Gorgeous views from the upstairs balcony. This is the one you want to stay at in Santa Marta! :)

The place was nice, the room has got some nice interior. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was okay too, very nice attendant. we had a great time at the spa. The two ladies who did our facial and massage, it was very relaxing and my attendant released a lot of my shoulder knots. Would recommend to stay in this place.

Hotel Don Pepe is truly an oasis of comfort, relaxation and peace amid the exciting lifestyle of Santa Marta. The hotel staff was very personable and we really enjoyed their attentiveness and overall knowledge and resources for our stay in town. The staff included multilingual speakers in English and Spanish, which certainly helped with facilitating any requests we had as English-language speakers. We'd definitely recommend Don Pepe as a top choice for travelers to Santa Marta!
