I was literally physically assaulted by a staff member of this hotel. The police were called and a police report was filed. I have hired a lawyer and I'm going through with a lawsuit. I was also heavily discriminated against because of my certified service animal. I was constantly harassed by the staff members because of my dog. I also witnessed the staff members harassing several other of the tenants. I have filed a complaint with corporate and choice hotel headquarters. This is an unsafe environment for a single woman like myself. UPDATE :::::: as I was leaving for work one day I realized that I had left my phone in the hotel room and had to turn around to retrieve it. When I entered back onto the property and walked towards my room I noticed that the door was open and three individuals who I know to be staff members were inside of my room going through my belongings opening and closing drawers and taking my stuff and putting it in a small duffel bag. One of them had my wallet in their back pocket. The police were called again. I contacted choice hotels who oversees and owns this property and I made a report with headquarters. I had a supervisor get in touch with me and let me know that these individuals are not even staff members. In the computer they are only residents of suburban extended stay hotel. Which means that hotel management gave my hotel key to fellow residents of the hotel so that they could rob me. This is an extremely unsafe hotel and the only reason anyone should ever pay to stay here is if they enjoy role playing and pretending that they are in a cell block in a prison

We had just reached the location and it looked like a movie location of a horror movie. My husband went to the front desk and the staff asked him to ‘check out’ the room first. We swiped the key card and oh LORD! It was the dirtiest room I have ever seen! The bed linens had a film of dust and we saw roaches crawling on the bed. The cabinets were broken and it smelled like weed! We immediately had to ask the front staff to cancel our reservation. Would never recommend for anyone.

Very nasty and unwelcome feeling when I stayed here for school. They looked like it not well maintained and very un clean, and the room was full with roachs. The people at the desk were always rude, and the cards for the door would never work. Always had to go get new ones to activate.. I never had room service come change out anything or restock toilet paper. And trying to go to the office to get new towels . Toilet paper, etc. It was like pulling teeth with the people at the front desk to get the essentials. Definitely don't recommend this place to stay. The shower was filthy. Plugs was roach infested. Look at the pictures. Room 221

They simply have all the conditions to offer a great stay and receive good reviews here, the room offers a kitchen, pan and crockery, but it's impossible for you to want to use it, because the hotel doesn't have any kind of cleaning! The carpet smells like cigarettes, I saw cockroaches on the floor and had to kill 2. the office has opening hours and after these hours they give you a phone number so you can communicate but it never works! They don't clean anything! I know it's a cheap hotel, and I don't care if the place is luxurious, but cleanliness is extremely important anywhere Get ready to use things that other people used and no one cleaned! Just awful!!!

Quiet place, but very run down. Cabinet doors were leaning on thy cabinets, but sitting in the floor, not even attached. People sitting on steps smoking who knows what. But couldn't beat the price.

I normally don’t care enough to leave a review but this place is bad enough that I have to. My wife and I are currently working through some things, so I needed a place to stay for a few weeks. I had no illusions that this place would be nice but i at least expected a clean room. The parking lot is a mixture of drug dealers, junkies, hookers, little kids, cats/raccoons over flowing trash cans, and a few people staying for work. It has trash scattered throughout, enough that causes a landfill type smell. Deadbolt on my door was hanging, looks to have been kicked in at some point. The landfill smell was in the room as well. Actually it was so bad that I searched for a dead body. Bugs on the floor. Rat droppings in the bathroom and under the bed. I’m pretty sure the AC unit was blowing out straight Covid mixed with HIV. I tried to lay down and ignore the smell since I had already paid for a week. There was no blanket, only stained sheets. I had some extras in my truck. My throat started to become sore after an hour and decided I couldn’t stay. Tried getting a refund but that wasn’t happening. So I essentially donated $500 to the owners drug fund. Again the did not expect much but you shouldn’t have to go home to wash your clothes and take a shower to get the smell off. This place needs to be raided and shut down. I snapped a few pictures walking back to my truck.

Pictures online are very deceiving. Booked it without reading reviews first, or else I would've stayed somewhere else. It was non-refundable, so I made due. Half of everything in the room was broken or partially broken. Paper thin walls so you can hear everything. The phone wasn't even plugged in. One lamp also wasn't plugged in. A/C knob didn't work properly, but still blew out cold and hot air. The toiltet "stick handle" kept falling into the toilet water. Lots of leftover bug traps. Luckily, I only saw one roach during my one night stay. Gentleman at the front desk was nice.

The rooms were horrific!! Blood splatter on the walls from people shooting with needles. Mold everywhere, even when the AC or heat on nothing but mold smell. Rooms look nothing like the pics. Pls do not stay here, run! They have addicts walking around, drug dealers everywhere you turn. I’m so disappointed in Choice Hotels for even having this as a destination. Roaches from nasty residents living there. Parts of carpet missing, we switched rooms 3 times and stayed one night. That was enough. You can push open the door with one finger. Not safe for anyone to stay!!! Please look for something else if coming to Savannah, this is not the place to feel safe. Chatham county code enforcement has been contacted with the many pictures we took and civil action has been taken through the court.

The buildings are run down its infested with drug dealers and drug users and I know this because they make no attempt to hide it. There's children running all over the place. I wouldn't let my dog stay here much less a human being. I would rather sleep in my car. Oh I almost forgot to mention the hundreds of cats that are running all over the place. And they weren't people's pets.

Worst stay ever! Not a very old hotel but terrible upkeep...chipped paint, peeling plaster, missing base boards and a German roach infestation. I stayed 2 nights and decided to move to an AirBnB. The discount price is not worth the inconvenience. It was a quite hotel and in a good location. The office staff was very professional and helpful but the rooms need renovation and better maintenance.

why was it poor, because it didn't even match the price. my son had a football game in Sahvanna Georgia. we were traveling from North Carliana, so we book a room at this place. we didn't even walk through the door good enough for roaches start falling and crawling everywhere. we went right back to the desk to cancel are stay there and they refused to give are money back. the Cleark said they've just cleaned the room; we like yeah right. when you look in the room, you can tell from the smell and the bugs that it hasn't been cleaned.

The place is quite rundown and dirty. There are roaches in the rooms. Fixtures are broken and the carpeting is beyond filthy. Walking barefoot for more than 5 minutes the bottom of my feet went from clean to disgusting. Not even worth the low cost of the stay.

Was ok but too many employees not knowing what they are talking about . Stayed five weeks was told weekly rent would go down to $233. And some change ..so mentioned that to the young Indian man he says they do not offer that price. Well he needs to walk outside And read the big sign as you pull in..he was rude and very disrespectful. I need to talk to the corporate office and they nice gentleman who was taking pictures for them and all the employees was hiding from.

paid to get a deluxe queen room, got put in a full size bed small room. Room wasn't the worst but wasn't really cleaned well, found hair on the shower wall, bed had stains, the air conditioner was broken and turned off after ten minutes and had to unplug it and plug it back in just to get it to work for ten minutes again, kinda sucks with it being 95 degrees. The property was full of sketchy looking people that looked like they were living there full time, which wasn't very inviting either. 3 stars is being nice

I wish I took pictures but I didn't because I was rushing. This place was not what I expected. I've stayed at extended stays before but this was the worse one. The pillows were flat. There were no knives, no paper towels. the refrigerator had a towel in it and was leaking. I bought a pack of Popsicles and they melted because the freezer portion was not working. The microwave needed cleaning and it didn't have a plate in it. there was dish washing liquid but nothing to wash the dishes with. the sheets on the bed had red spots/stains and I found two roaches crawling in the bathroom. Now again I've stayed at extended stays before and I've never seen one in this condition. For it to be in such a good location it needs work. Extended stays are supposed to provide somethings that make it similar to home but away from home.

A lot of "people beware" of not being cleaned. The image of a housekeeper wearing a mask can ALSO be found at The Quality Inn Midtown gallery of photos! Now THAT'S pretty darn pathetic! The bed covering she is attending to does not match anything in this hotel's photos nor The Quality Inn Midtown. In other words, Suburban Studios Abercorn & Quality Inn Midtown are using stock photos! False advertising. Isn't there a rule or law against that?

Not pet friendly. There was no notice that they wouldn't allowed pets and when questioning the clerk he vaguely mentioned something about an elevator to higher floors that were pet friendly. The clerk clearly saw we had a pet early and we couldn't check in until 4:00 p.m. which was fine but when we came back at 4:00 p.m. he said our room was not pet friendly. We spent five hours running around the town seeing the sights and then when it was time to check in, the news was informed to us that we were not in pet friendly room. So we had to spend the rest of the evening finding another hotel. Thanks for nothing.

Literally never stayed in a hotel so horrible. I stayed in the second building, it has roaches, the shower is filthy, says non smoking but it’s been smoked in. Says it’s a queen bed but it’s actually a full. Just don’t stay here. It’s a crack house.

We had reserved two rooms but gave up the one that smelled the worst. The other unit had a sofa bed but we didn’t use bc we didn’t trust the mattress and no bedding or enough towels. Didn’t change our clothes bc it was run down, dirty floors and the bed was uncomfortable.

The staff disrespectful. They have roaches. They guy in the room next to me has a dog that uses the restroom in the walkway and the guy yells at the dog for using it all over the room for hours at night. Addressed it with staff twice,he told me to use my only day off to address it again.THE WORST

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We booked our room online and called twice to confirm they had our booking. We get to the office and are first told our room wasn’t ready yet (1.5 hours after check in time). Then get told he never had our booking because it was through a third party and that the same room wasn’t available at all. Very rude and said either a 2 twin room which was the same price or leave. We left. Worse place
