I’ve had the worst experience dealing with this clinic. The rudest receptionist - who blames it on patient for waiting hours or days at end to wait to get to their doctors. I’m pretty positive the doctors don’t even get the messages to reach out to the patients who can’t make it to the clinic. Clearly they only prioritize walk in patients and god forbid you’re waiting to pick up your reports! They won’t diarize that in their records and call you a liar for not showing up for consultations. I have been having covid like symptoms with severe cough and chest pains and have been wanting to get a phone consultation to avoid putting others at risk. And guess what, was called out on calling them (multiple times as they don’t answer the calls on first few tries and if someone lets you know the doctor will call you- that ain’t happening), saying I’m not the only person waiting for them. Looks like it’s my mistake i chose them as my clinic. Will most definitely be switching.

This clinic is the worst. I’m pretty sure it’s not allowed to withhold a patient’s health information from them. I’ve been calling countless times asking them to give me the result of my report because when they conducted the test, I informed the doctor that I’d be out of the city and made sure I could call to just get my result. Every single time I call, they respond with either of the following: you have to come in or you don’t get your result, I can’t help you and cut the phone, or tell me that they’ll get the doctor to call me sometime today (I’ve never gotten a call). I’ve tried to call so many times, ask if I can get my result over email, and it’s been about a month. Also, for a blood test i did here prior to this, they even asked for money to get the result…

Very unprofessional. Doctors barely look at you & ask you what to write down. Always on their computer. Unorganized. Hardly answer the phone. The doctor didn’t put the date on a doctors note, couldn’t use it for work and they still wanted me to pay again. Doctors are always switching daily and don’t work together. Highly recommend another place. Just a money hungry place.

TL:DR - very rude, uncaring receptionist would not allow me to see a doctor even though they are walk in clinic. Interrupted my description of concerns why I was there. No care for people here. I showed up for new family doctor sign up as discussed with the receptionist on the phone, the lady asked if I was here for registration only or for a medical concern today as well, I didn’t have much time so I just said registration for now. She said the doctor is not in so it is not possible to sign up now, come in next week. I did have a few issues to discuss and spent some time to get down there so I asked ok well then can I see a doctor today then? She interrupted me saying “THANK YOU BYE” over and over very intensely, I asked 4 times trying to ask if I can please see a doctor today as she said I could but she just kept saying “THANK YOU BYE”. Least caring doctors office I have ever been to, the only reason people come to you is for CARE so maybe try to provide at least a tiny bit of care for peoples health issues. 0 stars.

I was displeased for having visited this clinic. The doctor (Veejai Sawh) was barely interested to listen to our concerns and would leave the room in middle of the conversation. The receptionist was highly arrogant and rude.

Worst Customer Service, They never answer the the call. I waited for 1.5 hr and after that doctor came And He said I can't do anything Go to Hospital. i just had Vomiting. Lady At the front (reception), She is Worst,, She is Literally Rude . Bad Customer service. She Does not even Know When To book the appointment. worst clinic ever.

This place is terrible. I showed up at 7:50am and was second in line. The secretary was quite rude. They don't keep you in order. I was second in line and I watched 4 people go ahead of me. I brought it up to the secretary and she snapped at me, saying she needs time to put my information in the computer meanwhile I gave her my Healthcard 20 minutes earlier. The doctor is supposed to be there at 8am. By 8:30 he was nowhere to be seen. I guess my time isn't important. By 8:40am I hadn't been seen so I left. Tomorrow I will find a walk in clinic that's actually cares about their patients. This is why our hospital emergency rooms are so busy because people want proper care unlike what this walk in provides.

The service here is poor and the staff makes no effort to be professional. They hang up the phone and are only triggered if you call to move to the next step. The phone constantly rings without an answer. I am sure that there may be good team member here, however, I am referencing those I interacted with.

Such a rubbish clinic. I called ahead of time to ask for an appointment and if my insurance is going to be covered, i was told from the other line that I can come anytime and that my insurance will be covered. I arrived at the clinic after few days and the receptionist/nurse manager told me that I dont have appointment and that my insurance is not covered. I told her about the instruction that I was told few days ago, then she started ranting about her years of experience in the company (like seriously???) The only action she can do is to investigate who that staff is in a very rude manner.

If i could review and file a complaint against i would have done it way earlier worst over ever clinic. Never pick up the calls. The doctor write wrong medicine name and didnt even write the quantity of medicine. Pharmacy had faxed them almost 3 days ago. I tried to call them everyday. They dont pick or they pick up the phone leave it on the side. The doctor is very irresponsible towards the patient. Don't go on 5 star reviews. Never go there. Its been 4 days still no reply of fax. I would never recommend to any one.

I’m 30 wks pregnant and have been waiting furiously to get a new OB referral fax sent because I was in Montreal and missed my last regular 2 wks checkup. Dr in Montreal said I might have gestational diabetes. So I want to see OB ASAP. I had all my previous blood tests in this clinic when I was 1 month pregnant since I live close by. There is a woman who works in the morning you should avoid at all cost if you have anything important. She does not know what you ask her. Very rude and hangs up phone calls on you all the time. I have been calling back and forth the OB office and this clinic for the past 4 days trying to get a fax sent. I have to go in person pick up the fax and deliver personally to the OB’s office at last. My appointment with OB was delayed over a week as a result. First day, she said Mam we don’t fax referrals, Dr fax. I have to come in talk to the dr. So I said could you arrange over the phone because I want to reduce risk of covid. Then Dr called and he said ok to send the referral by the end of the day. The next day I called, OB office said they have not received anything. I called the clinic and she said I have to see the dr first. I said I already talked to the dr yesterday. She said NO Dr saw you yesterday she can book an appointment. I kept telling her I already saw the dr I just need the fax sent. she said she will talk to the dr, OK? then simply hangs up. I called again she said she DID NOT send, but WILL send, I have to wait for the OB office to call me back. I called OB office again the next day and still nothing was sent. I simply cannot trust this women and tried to call another receptionist asking her help. I would be left without treatment if I relied on HER! The clinic is so CHAOTIC with so many complaints having this lady at front! When I first found I was pregnant. I waited over a months after my first blood test. I tried calling 3 times afters weeks of waiting to find if I’m pregnant or NOT. This lady told me Mam I have to wait after almost 3 wks of waiting. I was lucky to having talk to the other receptionist at last. If I kept waiting I would be missing the important NT scans that can only be done at early pregnancy to detect any abnormal fetal growth. I don’t understand why they would hire someone who doesn’t know how to send fax and read patient blood tests, all she knows is booking appointments and get your health card charged. I definitely won’t come back again to this clinic to deal with her and unnecessary frustration!

Great walk in clinic. Came here Wednesday. Waited about an hour .-hour half. Got what I needed. Thank you Dr Abounaja for saving me and my kid from waiting 4+ hrs in emerg.

Worst walk in clinic in Scarborough. I came to see my family doctor today but the clinic is closed after 4 pm and closing time in Google map is different.

Worst experience. Clinic denying prescription other than their own physio. Just group of greedy people understanding nothing other than money. Receptionist doesn’t even try to understand what i was asking ‘just pay $80 on repeat’.

It is the worst clinic I’ve been to. I waited for more then an hour patiently and when i saw Dr. Abounaja, he didn’t even listen to my concerns. He didn’t explain me anything and sent me to the pharmacy. So unprofessional!!! Don’t waste your time heree

Very bad experience. Receptionist are not sending patients in order. They have their own prioritization. Even tough we waited for long time, we will not see doctors in order.

- 5 in my eyes. This clinic is so poorly run and unorganized. They consistently had patients that came after me been seen by the doctor before me. Then lied and said that they called my name, which they did not. LIES!! No accountability whatsoever. No system in place to keep the patients registered in an orderly fashion 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I've been dealing with his place with five months now, first came here because my original Clinic moved locations. I can honestly say that from now on I will go to any other practice besides this one. Reception is dismissive of incoming patients and lack basic people skills. Doctors waste your time with needless tests as well. I found myself getting an x-ray one week, and an ultrasound later on and then a dismissive attitude when I persisted for a resolution for what was explained to my as a neurological problem from the beginning by the same doctors. Should have been a referral to a neurologist all along. There are better offices out there than this one.

Great staff members. Did my stiching done and came back for more medical check ups later on. Clean environment. Dr is very caring...immensely grateful!

Dr. Abounaja is a very empathetic, compassionate, committed, respectful, honest and down to earth Professional Family Physician. His staff Miral and Jayashree outstanding, very patient and friendly. I am stunned with the positive attitude and energy to handle multi tasks at all times! I am happy my family's health is in safe hands.

I had to reach out to the Doctor for my son and I found him to be incredibly caring, knowledgeable and helpful. Although the clinic was very busy, he took the time to do a thorough consultation with us! His staff was professional and kind during our visit.

I don’t think the clinic even deserves 1 star. Dr. Is so rude and thinks the patient is uneducated or has no knowledge. I had to wait for more than 1 hr for nothing. The staff is uncaring, rude and has zero empathy towards patients.

We went in on Friday, they diagnosed my 16 mths old daughter with pink eye (without an examination) and prescribed her medication that is not for under 2. They provided no instructions for dosage, frequency, or duration. Tried getting the info for a few days. Found out from a pharmacist it was the wrong medication. Tried reaching them by phone to discuss if the doctor made a mistake or had a reason for the prescription, they told me to call back after 1:30 when the doctor would be present. Since then, they've ignored every phone call attempt for all three of their phone numbers. Other issues with this place too but that's an important one to share. Another thing to note, when we went back on the Sunday (cause they neglected to do an actual exam on the Friday where they would have discovered her ear, nose, and throat infection) they told us for the baby room we would be waiting about 20 minutes to see the physician... We were there about two hours waiting. Unacceptable. And as an FYI about the review who says everyone complaining about customer service to grow up, I am pretty confident he has some connection to this clinic because he complains about customer service and waiting in his other reviews, so clearly it does actually matter.

I would even give zero for the experience I had at this clinic. The doctors are good and friendly but the staff doesn't take any responsibility for patients. The worst staff the clinic has, they make the patients wait for so long and never give the information what the patient is looking for. Worst staff.

Only went because they provide services on guard me but I want to tell you they guide through internet and did not provide medicine for my problem. Moreover, doctors and others have no privacy policy they speak so loudly. Some of the doctors are best and others are far opposite. They evn dont feel sorry

Horrible service and treatment! I waited nearly 2 1/2 hours for my turn, nobody tells you how long it will take. I had a blockage in my ear and wanted to get a cleanup. Despite charging me extra, the clean up wasn't done properly (doctor hardly spent five minutes overall) and the ear is still blocked. Doctor told me to go home and just wait for it to get better. Waste of time and money! Avoid this place and don't get fooled by all the nice comments shown here.

Its 4:26pm and they said now we are closed. On google and their notice board they said they are open till 5:00pm.

Doctor was nice helpful,professional, knowledgeable and caring, listened to my complaints and did his best to solve them, Staff hard working, multi tasking and professional , It was a busy place they managed to do their best.

I would give -5 stars if I could. Went in for my wife and son, doctor already had written prescription before even getting details about issue or making sure if it was the issue. He checked my son’s lungs while he was wearing winter jacket and barely spent 2 mins in total for two patients. I think cpso complaint is necessary against dr. Abounaja. They just want to see more patients for the turn over. Don’t even spend time listening to patients. Worst clinic ever.

First of all the waiting time is WAY TOO LONG and the doctor is horrible!! He came in and barely checked what was going on with my problem. He was rushing everything so i asked if he could just refer me to a specialist. And they didnt even do that either. DO NOT COME HERE. Horrible

Absolutely great clinic! Im not sure whats the dr’s name, but he sounds like he is Guyanese from his accent.He solved my medical problem with 5 bloody pills that my other family Dr the past 3 years in Canada failed to resolve. The money i wasted with that Fam Dr! I see some of the entitled and negative comments about service, ITS ALL IRRELEVANT, clearly you are not sick, if u really need help with ur medical treatment u would sit and be patient till u get your dr to work his magic, go complain about waiting long and non smiling receptionists at WALMART, you are here for treatment! Not to say bad customer service is acceptable but grow up and get what u came for. The service from the girls is also very lovely btw! :)

Gotta be totally honest... People who complain about this place are imbeciles.

This place charges 50$ for a prescription for orthotics even when that's the only thing I wanted from my visit WITH AN OHIP! Before I went in I asked the receptionist if I can get a prescription for orthotics. I would appreciate if I was told I need to pay upfront. After meeting the doctor when I was told I had to pay extra 50$, I came out and asked the front desk to confirm this and she said it's written and pasted in the wall. Why was this not told upfront? Advise to the management: please have some tissues, sanitizers and face masks in the front desk. Cutting corners to save pennies puts other patients health at risk!

Worst experience ever. Doctor doesn’t even consult for a minute. They are trying to charge less for a lab, only to get a message from Labs for extra payment to get results.

Pathetic service !!! These guys never even attend the patients. Have been going here for 4 days in a row but not once did they get me a doctor. Mostly, the doctors are not available and in case they are, these guys just keep on changing the working hours. Completely disgraced by such behaviour and service.

The whole clinic is very unprofessional, they opened hours later then they were meant to. We were told to come back after a TB testing and that appointments could not be made while others had appointments. We were charged for a form even though we were originally told there would be no charge as my daughter is a student. Overall very unprofessional from both the HCPs and the receptionists.

The receptionist dont care who comes first. I came first than others and a few patients were accommodated earlier than me. I looked up to the receptionist and i saw her reaction that she forgot that i was there first. I asked about my health card and she gave it back to me. Usually when i went there, it will only take a minute and she will return my health card and said wait for my turn. They need to teach their receptionists good customer service and also be mindful who comes first.....

The front desk lady (Bhakti) is very rude, unprofessional, and not trained well at all on how to speak and deal with the patients. Despite me being very respectful to her; she was very disrespectful and were shouting. I’m not sure why they hire such people from the streets. I kindly request Dr. Abounaja to not keep such kind of people who make the clinic name go bad.

Dr Abounaja is a good doctor but i will stop going there, the place has become a Zoo, 2hr plus to see the Dr. and i had an appointment

They are doing their businesses in health in the canada health is free when you want to do some test if its not cover in OHIP i was paying by card they said no we want cash stay away from this clinic they don’t know how to talk with the patient to be honest those people are not doctor they are business man all of the clinic

Wait is worth it .I know i have wait in long que but the Doctor is very positive and everytime i go there I never get stress bcoz of staff they make u more comforable while doing blood work either.

Hurt my arm and needed a prescription refilled. I waited 6 minutes to see the doctor and he sent me for x-rays and ultrasound immediately. Faxed my scripts to my pharmacy. In and out in 15 minutes.

I've been going here for 10yrs and at first the service was great...now, they never answer the phone and when they say they'll have the dr call you, they never do. It's frustrating just how terrible the reception service is...

I've been coming here for years. I've been bringing my kids here for years. 1. Best hours - anytime I've called, they've been open 2. They actually answer their phones 3. Almost never a long wait in the waiting room 4. Reception today was friendly, helpful 5. Actually allowed me to come in despite still being in the pandemic I'd first started going to the walk-in a short walk around the corner but was constantly frustrated by their inconsistant hours and long waits inside. In desperation I once checked to see what else was nearby and found EHG. They've never failed me. I probably drive by at least 6 walk-in clinics to get here but it's worth it because this clinic puts the others in central Scarborough to SHAME This clinic is the most reliable.

Receptionist was Rude, terrible customer service, belittling use of tone. I didnt bother going back to see the doctor. Whilst i understand my card had expired during the pandemic i didnt know that service ontario was open yet. When i asked her how to go about dealing with expired card she said well you can just pay the doctor. 🤣🤣ohhhh is that how we renew our health cards now? Im sure her intentions were good. I mean she had just hung up on another customer who wanted to know when something would be faxed. How dare someone ask her when she might be able to do her job.

Visiting Dr was Veejai Sawh. He wanted to know what was the issue. Informed him follow up for my ear pain and routine blood test. All of a sudden he shouted very loudly why are you doing this blood test, this has to be done only once a year. If this guy had the medical knowledge and skill to read and understand my past medical history he would not have screamed at me, but would have understood what was previous Doctors diagnosis, treatment, prescription, and why they had wanted routine blood test to be done. I felt awkward and embarrassed by loud shouting at me as there were other patient in the visiting room. This guy did not treat the patient with respect, dignity or in a professional manner , etiquette that needs to be practiced by Ontario Doctors as per CPSO

Worst experience ever had in my life, they didn’t attend you properly. Receptionist sending people they know with appointment. They didn’t care people are waiting for 1 hr for their turn. They didn’t care, I medical line I didn’t expect we need to face this. My suggestion don’t go to this clinic. Totally unprofessional staff.

The office hours are not what they say on their website or on their office doors. They mentioned they opened at 8am on sundays on their website, and 7.30 on their doors. I have been waiting at their door since 7.30 and it is almost 9.30 and their sign still says that they are closed! If you are closed on Sunday then just say it instead of hiding it and lying about it!

Dr. Abonaja and his staff are extremely friendly, understanding, professional and are thorough. He takes good care of his patients. I’m so blessed to have him as my doctor and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good doctor. In general, the clinic always busy place but it is managed by a hardworking multitasking staff that makes your waiting time acceptable.

I am very proud to be a patient of this clinic for many years. They are an excellent team of doctors. Dr. Aboounaja always validates my pain, listens attentively to my problems with concerns and treats me with professional courtesy and respects. He always keep abreast of the best care to provide and that's very reassuring. He is honest and forthright
