This place is disgusting! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak through uber eats. The bag arrives sealed 👌. First I opened the Cajun fries and thought a little underwhelming for $5. But I ate them and they are actually good 👍🏾. Then I open up my sandwich, and the smell is so good. I'm ready to eat so I tear a small piece off and look and behold a very long black curly hair is in the sandwich 🤮. I called the store AFTER reporting to Uber eats about the situation to be greeted with rude employees to include the shift Manger. So corporate if you're reading this that whole shift should be fired. I ordered my food at 3pm January 20th.

My husband and I ordered from macs based on their reviews. When the food arrived we were left disappointed. Apparently people in this area like terrible cheese steak. The meat doesn't even look like steak. It was a grey color... since when is fresh steak grey? My daughter got a regular turkey sub and the deli meat they use has got to be the cheapest meat you can buy. We would've been better off ordering from subway... and that's pretty sad.

In the past i’ve loved ordering here. Tonight i ordered a 16” italian sub as a celebration meal. it was supposed to come with mayo lettuce tomatoes the standard fixings per the description on uber eats instead i got bread meat and cheese no fixings at all just pure laziness or lack of common sense or both i’ll never order from here again. completely unacceptable

All my son wanted for his birthday was a steak sub. So we googled best steak subs and picked the place with the highest rating. I'm not personally a huge fan of steak subs and I finished my 4 inch sub and was left wanting more. My son's girlfriend ordered the 8 inch and she was upset she didn't get the bigger size too. No one was disappointed! It was enjoyed by everyone.

You have to see their menu to believe it. Love the deep fried pickles. They really know how to make a burger too. You gotta try the steak sub made in so many ways. Just go set for yourself so glad i love so close., 🤗😂🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely love this place and the people there! Have been door dashing from there but finally went to the actual restaurant on Exchange Blvd. and was not disappointed. The folks there are the best! Wanted to try something different as I was hooked on the Country Sweet chicken finger sandwich. Tried one of their personal favorites (Chicken Cheese Steak with boom boom sauce and country sweet sauce, etc.) It was just what I wanted YUM! Their bbq pork fries rock! Portions are perfect IMO. Totally recommend you try them out. Update 10/28/22...ALWAYS great food from here. Totally recommend their Boom Boom plate, it's amazing. Chicken is amazing, spicy and delicious. The mac salad is spot on and the fried pickles...YUM.

Stopped in here before the Tool consert at blue cross arena and the "garbage" esque plates are fun to enjoy, however the fried aspect of the dish was double fried and too crispy for the order. Looking forward to the next visit.

Disheartened by a recent experience at Mac Philly Steak in Rochester, NY. The lack of respect from an employee left a sour taste. It’s disheartening when a place you enjoy falls short on customer service. Hoping for better encounters in the future. My colleague and i eat there almost every week order the same thing every week. We even go as far as sitting in the same seats as well. Anyways, today we ordered our regular. Took us a few minutes before we could order because she was tending to her toddler daughter. Which is fine we don’t know what other people are going through, again i get that. She took our order maybe she was distracted but one of our orders didn’t get sweet potato fries. Which my colleague went up front to tell her then the young lady began cursing and yelling. So he sat down yes they were exchanging words between each other but nothing disrespectful on our end. The young lady continued to use profanity in front of her daughter then even went as far getting into his face and continued to curse Him out. Maybe she wanted a reaction from us which we are grown adults that’s highschool drama save that for home this isn’t the palce and time for it. Then the cook in the back wanted to defend her. Lol also she called the police on us so we continued to eat our food and left with the nice officers. Never again will you get our business. I always tell employees i work close with for all my businesses i work with you never know who you’re talking to on the opposite side of you. Always keep your composure and represent the business you work for.

Only place I will get a Philly cheesesteak sub from. They are huge, delicious and priced right. They don't use fake steak they use real chopped steak and its bagging! Normally my husband can eat a whole sub but from here we each eat half a sub and are so full its unreal. Love this place, just wish they were open later lol I work late so by the time I'm done there closed and its they only place I like so I have to make my man get it before they close. Do your self a favor and eat here. You won't be disappointed. Parking can be tough but that's not there fault its the plazas.

It was my first time trying Mac's Philly steaks... it seems like a pretty busy place the food was pretty good but it was just your average "let's get something to eat quick" with a few unique choices I will say! I would definitely try this place again but I would eat there this time. I got my food and I took it to go I just wanted something quick and it fit the bill! So I say try this place! There's going to be something on the menu for you and you can't go wrong!

This place does a pro Philly cheese steak sandwich and is probably among the best in the city. Deep menu, great sides, and the service is great... Always a go too for me.

The food is as good always with Macs but when you spend $30 on a monster plate then it better be packed like it always has been at the Rochester and Cananadaigua branch. The Fairport branch failed at filling my tin up and failed to give me a fork or a nice big amoroso roll.

Ordered the fish fry. Haven't truthfully had a fish fry like I used to get before I moved to Rochester. This is what I remember. So good!

Food was good. Service was good. Prices were a little bit high. And very limited seating. Marked atmosphere down because of the limited and not great seating atmosphere. Otherwise everything was fine.

Ordered a garlic parm Philly cheesesteak and mozz sticks. Mozz sticks are mozz sticks what else can you expect, but the Philly was horrible. Steak had absolutely no flavor to it. Very little cheese. It was like eating cardboard. I tried them when they opened their anchor store in Canandaigua and was Leary because I know the owner and not a fan but food was good then but now it was horirble! Will never order again! Goes to show trust your gut!

Had my doubts when I walked up and asked for a cheesesteak with the works, and the cashier told me "so, Lettuce and tomato?". She also listed off things that would be in the sandwich that weren't on the menu. I'm glad she did that so that I didn't get something I didn't want, but it's still frustrating that what was on the menu wasn't what the meal actually was. The food surprised me, it was better than I was expecting, they thankfully used actual cheese instead of cheese whiz.

I am only speaking from ordering on Uber Eats but OH MY GAWWWD this cheese steak SMACKED!!! I ordered the steak sandwich & onion rings and there were still hot and fresh when they got to my hotel. Might be near the best onion rings I’ve ever had I was shook!!!

I loved it here. The pork fries are to die for. The actual sandwich was juicy and the cheese was melted to perfection. I will be coming back. Staff is also very respectful.

I have been looking for a good cheesesteak. First time and I was impressed by the food and the customer service. The Philly cheesesteak was well seasoned large portions, fresh toppings..lots of meat and cheese. I put everything but the kitchen sink on my sandwich and it didn't get soggy or fall apart. Mac salad was tasty too. I will definitely be back.

Good food… but the tables were extremely dirty every single one. I had planned to stay there and eat… but couldn’t. ended up having to get it to go and eat in In the car after driving an hour away for it. 🙃 Count your days Mac’s Philly steaks 😭

Oh. MY. GAWWDDDD!!!! The Messy Burger is a MUST!!!! Freaking amazing!!! And the Philly Cheese Steak with all the things... Yep!! And those Fries!! MmmmmMmmmmm

I pick up deliveries there for other people. The woman at the counter is organized and does a good job. I always remember people who are good workers. She's really on top if things.
