I ordered 3 tacos and told the owner to pick the kind of meat. They were out of streak but he gave me 3 different kinds they had available. All were absolutely incredible. The owner is so nice and friendly. I will definitely be back. Excellent food and experience.

Our go-to taco/burrito/REAL Mexican food! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with the friendliest “Hello my amigos!” Instantly feeing like family as we approach the order window, we are reminded of the owner’s favorite dish-the Culichi Chicken-his wife’s special home made original recipe. So I got it in a burrito, only at half and still have leftovers! My wife got her favorite-red chili beef tacos. Today after eating only two, she is taking her third home for left overs. Our son got a plain hot dog-but the Sonoran dogs are AMAZING-two hot dogs wrapped in bacon, topped with pinto beans, pico de gallo, cream, and a whole plate of fresh vegetables! There are keto and vegan friendly options as well. Do not hesitate when having this amazing establishment as an option for lunch or dinner. What started as a phenomenal food truck turned into on of the best, friendliest, cleanest restaurants in Sierra Vista! The renovation is very tasteful with local street signs posted around the building. The live grill cam and tutorials are a nice touch as well. The only complaint is I don’t have a big enough stomach for all the food. If I could offer a suggestion-remove the glass around the bar and have a place where food gets prepped in front of the customer-almost hibachi style. The choice of music does not remind me of a Mexican restaurant, however it’s not too distasteful. They need your support as they support the entire community.

Hands down the best street tacos I have had in Arizona!! The owner was the one taking orders which I think is very involved. He also asked each customer about their families, friends, and about their jobs. He was extremely personable!! You can tell the food is made with love. Even the other workers were personable and friendly. This has easily become my new favorite taco place! 😍😋

Update 2023: We have visited again and it is still clean and the staff still friendly. I increased the stars from 3 to 4 because they seem to have stopped watering down the guac and sour cream and the food was better as well. The prices change frequently and there was even a sign saying so. I only went up 1 star since there are places with bigger portions for better prices and just as good if not better food in town. They are local tho so I will support them when in the area. OG Review (2022) Disappointing first visit. The staff were very friendly and I like that they have outdoor seating. The building seemed to be clean and the food was ready within minutes. However, for the price the portions were quite small compared to competitors with similar price points. We did the 3 tacos & a drink Thirsty Thursday Deal for $11 and added a Carmelo with a side of sour cream. The tacos were small tortillas stuffed with reheated meat that lacked flavor and some cabbage and/or cilantro & onions. The Carmelo was made with the same sized tortillas as the tacos and only had cheese on one side so the top tortilla just falls off when you try to eat it. They did have a decent amount of meat which was more flavorful than the taco meat had been and the cheese was good, but the meat was dry and not very warm which is why we assume it was reheated meat. The Carmelo was almost worth it for flavor. The fountain drink lemonade tasted watered down and it's a medium size cup for $3, so didn't seem worth it to us. They gave us a choice of salsas when I picked up the order, I chose the hot salsa and the guacamole from the options she offered. The sour cream I paid $.25 for was watered down and runny with no flavor as was the guacamole that they did not charge extra for. I would rather pay a little extra and get guac and sour cream that's not been watered down. The hot salsa was spicy hot but lacked any flavor. To sum it up, they had quick friendly customer service, a clean appearing place and the items to go were packaged well, which earned them 3 stars. We couldn't justify 5 stars because the lack of value and flavor. At the end of the meal it simply did not satisfy our hunger or taste buds and therefore wasn't worth the price. I'm glad I tried it as I like to support local so I hope they amp up the flavor.

The owner and his wife are incredible, kind, and genuinely stoked about what they do. The food was absolutely amazing and the salsas were out of this world. Will definitely be back!!!

Wow! Amazing taste 👌 👏. I was apprehensive at first due to the price on the menu but was quickly surprised to find the price was well worth the amount and taste of the food!! Sonoran Hotdogs was absolutely fantastic. The asada burrito was bigger than your boyfriends thing!! Will return again!!

The place is big and clean. There are some really cool things to look at inside. The owner himself took our order, made recommendations, and greeted each person in our group individually. The tacos are AMAZING and a really good size. I can't eat more than 2. All in all, I 100% recommend.

Every region has its own hotdogs. The Sonoran hotdog is a must in Southern Arizona, and 143 Street Tacos has an excellent selection of dogs with all the expected condiments. Quick service and plenty of seating a great selection of tacos, burgers, and burritos. This is a go-to for a workday lunch stop.

Our first time here. Food was delish. Big serving size for the price. Tacos were flavorful. The Mexican pizza seemed like it could've been a little more toasted but it was still good. We liked the red chili salsa and the red onions. Didn't get to take any good pictures of the food. We were to excited to try everything. We'll definitely stop by again when we're in town. 😉

Having a credit card fee at this point is petty and inconvenient. The staff are okay but not particularly kind. The taco prep is off-putting, the meats come out of crock pots. I do appreciate the toppings bar that the staff serve quite generously. The food has been hit or miss. One of the meats I have gotten 3 times. Twice, it was amazing. The other visit it was barely edible. The other meats were disappointing. I don’t think it’s worth the risk of a bad meal to eat here. Some of my friends had issues with sanitation with their food. The restaurant vibe is quite fun.

This place is fantastic! I was only in town for a couple days, and this was the first place I went. Looks like Sesame street colors on the inside...they have all the choices you could ever want - meats, veggies, tortillas...their rice and beans are delicious. They even have a grill-cam so you can watch them grill the meats! If you're in the area, hit it up!

Absolutely great Mexican food! Huge amount of food for a good price. The burrito was so large that my wife and I shared it. When we were done eating, I complemented the owner about the delicious smokey flaver of the meat, and he graciously showed off his grill. Would highly recommend eating here when you're in Sierra Vista.

Me and my families "go to place" when we want some tacos. The owners and their family are always so nice and the food is always amazing. I love that they have cabeza, and it's what I get every time since it's harder to find anywhere else. The salsas are here are delicious and not just colored water type salsa. Every ingredient in the dishes have thoughtfulness in regards to quality. My only complaint is that I wish that they were open later so I can eat there more often.

10/10 I walked in and Marcellus met us with a smile, a handshake and the warmest of welcomes. He explained the options for the things I wanted to try and even gave us a sample to taste first. The red chili is DIVINE. The culichi was amazing but spicy because if the poblanos but a good spicy. I ate til I was over full I was so satisfied. Incredible food. Incredible atmosphere. Will come here EVERY time I’m in Sierra vista and I’m sad there’s not one in Phoenix. PLEASE try this spot.

Great Tacos near post. Pastor was the better my opinion. Great staff and owners were very gracious. Love the Coke from Mexico...

Very good food. Although there was a line and wait to order, the staff was friendly and helpful. As for seating, good luck if you go during lunch. Place is a hole in the wall with tables on top of each other. Best bet is to order the food and eat at home or in car. Definitely worth going again for the good food.
