Very nice staff and not too busy here. We ere seated right away and the waiter was a very nice man who made sure that we were taken care of. BBD will give Dennys a run for their money! Their pancakes are great!

Food and service is amazing. There might be a lil wait, especially on the weekends, but it's so worth it if you're patient. Once seated you won't be disappointed. It's also fun to go shopping for souvenirs before or after. Love their slippers and cups.

Very delicious and big portion sized food. Definitely worth every penny. Friendly and attentive staff, calm vibes in general. I would recommend to sign up for the E club and the passport to accumulate stamps of every Black Bear Diner you can eat at.

This place was awesome.... The best part was the service and the food was really good... 5 stars all the way around... The people were friendly and it was my birthday... There wasn't many waiters... But the guy we got was on point.. in his game. He brought me ice cream 🍨 and a candle 🕯️ on it. I would come here again... I went to the one in Santa Clarita but there are so different.. service better here.. food both two thumps up.. the corn bread was so good I'm still thinking about it.. and the soup was pretty good too.

Awesome and friendly service. I highly recommend you eat here. The portions are huge and tasty. We ate in the evening and received our food quickly. The server was friendly and helpful with answering our questions. I recommend you stop by and give them a try when you’re in the neighborhood. Pricing seems very reasonable due to the size of the portions.

I visited this place with the wife, and these are my observations: We arrived at the restaurant and were greeted promptly with a nice attitude. The air conditioning was not running in a day where the temperature was about 90 degrees, so that was an inconvenience. There was some trash on the floor across our table, so this was a bad first impression. The good: Food portions are big for the price. Tha bad: No air conditioning running and presentation over all was OK. The ugly: Taste of food is just about average. Quality of ingredients is poor, and I guess that is why the food is not expensive. My wife got the pot roast plate and didn't go well... Summary: This is an inexpensive restaurant where you can get your money's run. However, be ready to sacrifice taste and quality as the food is just OK.. If you want to experience American cuisine at its best, I recommend lazy dog in Cerritos.

Decided to stop by here randomly for dinner. And the menu is pretty overwhelming there is A LOT goin on but they do sell breakfast all day! I got the pot roast dinner with a sweet tea a soup and their corn bread. The portion sizes was nice and big they give you a decent amount of food. The food was very tasty! Pot roast tasted good a classic pot roast flavors were nice, the loaded mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing! And the cornbread was good although it came out cold initially the actual flavor was nice. It was a sweet and Cakey corn bread muffin. So if you prefer the more savory style it might not be for you. The muffin was also huge! Tomato bisque soup very tasty. The service was great! Very attentive and nice! And the sweet tea was fresh brewed! Really good sweet tea. Overall I would say it was good spot. I would recommend for a quick dinner diner I will come back for breakfast.
