I served my quarantine with this hotel. The food was excellent, tasty and very good variety. Half the battle was won with just good food. Room had a table and office chair so I could work quite well. Hotel reception was very polite whenever I had queries. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Customer service is 10/10 best location in the city you can go anywhere from there without any issue. If you forgot to change currency they have a machine that will do it for you. Room cleanliness and equipment is amazing (love that they have toothbrushes and paste as well)

We stayed here for one night during a transit from Hong Kong. The staff were exceptional at meeting our needs. They sorted us late check out so our child could sleep as well as access to the pool for the afternoon. We asked for towels to shower poolside but they offered us a free room for 30 minutes to freshen up. The concierge was also excellent and communicative. Rooms were good and big. Excellent stay.

Spending 3 days staying here was very enjoyable, they provide spacious and clean rooms, there are glass windows big enough to enjoy the view outside, the hotel is a little old but it seems they have updated the furniture with more modern (I'm just a little uncomfortable with the carpet on the floor of the hotel, because I think it would be more hygienic and clean without it). I also liked the bathtub, it was clean and the hot and cold water worked very well, they provide mats that anticipate users not slipping on the slippery bathroom floor, I think this is very cool, I think only a few hotels in Singapore do this. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here, although it's a bit far from Orchard but there are also lots of delicious food and dim sum around. 😁😁🎉✨

We arrived near midnight only to discover that the third bed was not yet prepared in our room. The reception then changed us to another room and this time, we couldn’t even use the room card in the elevator. After all the mentioned challenges, we still waited for 30 minutes before we could have all the beds ready. I would not want to repeat this experience myself. Therefore, I also would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I was travelling for business and my stay at Carlton was wonderful. Easy check-in and check-out process. Well maintained property and rooms. Amazing service 24x7 especially in room dining and housekeeping was always available on the calls. Buffet was just average however no major complaints. A 4 star hotel with 5 star services and rooms.

Punches above its weight in terms of its stated 3 star rating. Clean and well appointed rooms. Breakfast is a mix of Asian and Western servings and is self serve. Note that there is no bar in the hotel and therefore no drinks or food available at the pool. Great location, right opposite Raffles Hotel and shopping centre. Within walking distance of most attractions.

First and foremost, I wish to clarify that I am not a guest here , but came here twice for dinner at Mosaic cafe..I have extremely good impression of the excellent quality of the service , both from service crew at the hotel and Mosaic Cafe More importantly, I am writing this review to compliment the hotel porter who was on evening shift on 10 December 2022. We arrived at the drop-off / taxi stand at around 5.45pm. My father has to alight first as he is quite immobile and wheelchair bound. While my brother was trying to help him out of the car and put him on the wheelchair safely, the porter quickly stepped forward to lend a helping hand till my father was seated on the wheelchair and my brother drove off to park the car. After our dinner at Mosaic cafe ended around 9.15pm , this porter stepped forward again to lend my brother a helping hand. He was kind, extremely polite and helpful throughout. We have great impression of him and his kind action has definitely enhanced the image of the hotel. I regret not getting his name. Judging from his complexion, he looks like an Indian. Last but not least, I hope this review can reach the porter too. Really want to say a very big thank you to him.

Booked a double room (1 extra large bed) and they gave us the wrong room with 2 single beds. The concierge staff was nice and helped us to clarify with one of the staff handling check ins (I think his name was Ben? It was a chinese man wearing specs with a combed back hairstyle) and he simply brushed us off by saying the double room was fully booked, without checking at all. They said that maybe I booked it wrongly and simply left me there standing. I checked the booking once more, went up to another check in counter and showed my booking where it CLEARLY states ‘1 extra large bed’. Only then did the other staff assisted me in the change of rooms. No apologies from anyone at all. Wasted almost 1.5h of our time and we had made reservations for dinner prior, as we were celebrating our anniversary. I booked Carlton thinking it was one of the better hotels but if this is the kind of customer service, then that’s really disappointing. I understand that he may have been busy at that time, but at least listen and try to understand the situation first before trying to shut people up like that. The tone was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for, especially since I wasn’t the one at fault. Regardless, this hotel is supposedly one of the pretty decent ones and tourists from all over are coming here to stay, do we really want to serve them with this type of attitude?

With my 9 night stay, there is nothing but good things I can say about this hotel. Yes its older but do not let that put you off, its got everything you need, in a very close to perfect location right next to raffles, with multiple MRT stations close by. Which basically means everything is very easily accessible. Highly recommended

All good. Clean hotel. Great location. Easy to find food just beside Raffles shopping centre. Train just underneath the shopping centre. Room hot upgraded to higher floor with bath tub. Great view. The only down part is the musky smell. Thats it.

Having a staycation here. Used to stay in other 4 stars hotel who has much better service and quality. The reception was not friendly or helpful when I check in. More disappointed when we saw the quality of tea/coffee/shower consumables in the room. Some area show the age of the hotel as well. :( Some good points are the housekeeping staff is nice and the bed is comfortable. The housekeeping found my charger and I was able to collect on another day. Overall a disappointing staycation.

Loved our stay here! The rooms are really clean and modern. The cleaning ladies did a great job and were super fast every morning. The front desk and concierge were super helpful with any questions. It rained a lot while we were there, and they loaned out umbrellas which was nice. Wonderful location and walking distance to so many sights.

Located conveniently near the Raffles City with ease of public transport nearby like buses and the MRT. I went for business and their room was spacious, functional and clean. Housekeeping is attentive and always providing service to customers. Breakfast buffet could get really busy in the morning so I recommend going the earliest hours to avoid the crowd. Has a decent amount of options for different cuisines. Check-in and check-out process were really fast and convenient for the customers. Their driveway might be quite narrow for their busy clientele, could do something to improve this. Overall, a great stay in Singapore for business in this hotel. Would definitely recommend this to others for their stay.

Great hotel in one of the best locations in Singapore! Marina Bay, Raffles City, National Museum of Singapore are all within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of Western and Asian dishes. If possible, do opt for the club lounge access!

Efficient, clean, professional staff and service, great breakfast, great gym, very well located both to walk around and using the tram. Although appeared predominantly a corporate led property was perfectly fine for leisure purposes too. Would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean & comfortable hotel. Checking in & out was easy and staff were helpful in breaking currency into smaller denominations. The service was terribleか. Our room could not open. I mentioned that to the concierge, but after 3 appeals they didn't come with us to actually check, and after the 4th time they finally checked in person, the room still wouldn't open. They switched rooms with us, but the room class was the same. Normally, hotels would show their sincerity by giving a higher room class if inconvenienced. I can't believe that this hotel has five stars.

I was just at the restaurant for breakfast today. Food was nice. Service friendly and efficient. But the person who stood out was Candy. I asked for some decaffeinated coffee sachets. She went out of her way to make me a decaffeinated cappuccino. What a humble yet, outstanding service from the heart. Thank you Candy - you are the epitome of excellence in service delivery. Beside Chijmes so no need to worry about food. The hotel's restaurants are good too. Plenty of choice in buffet breakfast and lunch. Food quality is thumbs up too. Rooms are clean and hotel staff are very helpful and prompt. Top class world service.

Came here with the family for 2 nights. Rooms are quite small for the price but personally, good enough. View not so great though but can't complain, singapore is always in construction. What was great for me was the city is fairly humid and warm and immediately walking into the hotel, the AC is always there to cool you.

Had a wonderful 5 night stay in an Executive Club Room. Exceptional staff and service. Breakfast was wonderful, included in our room cost as was the Executive Club. One of the staff, Dian deserves to be commended for her service and such a pleasant mannerism. The rooms were very well appointed, extremely clean and the housekeeping staff friendly and attentive. The location is so good for shopping, food and transport (MRT and bus) Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

So my room was decently sized. Service was well managed, although as already mentioned hundreds of times before Checkin isn’t the most friendliest. Didn’t accept my virtual VISA, location is great for everything.

My stay at the Carlton was short but sweet. Only a few night however the stay was good one. Location is great close by to most things. View to city was also very nice. Especially at night overviewing the city skyline!

Attended a corporate function here on Friday night. This hotel is located in an excellent location, near the metro station, walking distance within 3 minutes. Right opposite it is the famous Raffles City. The one thing that I rated a 3 stars (or should be lower), is because the utensils during the function were stained and dirty. For example, the tea cup was stained internally. The saucer had food leftover when I sat in my seat. As a 5-star hotel, the expectation is definitely a lot higher.

I have been to many hotels in Singapore. This is dare I say the ONLY one with a full squat rack with Olympic 20kg bar. I'm impressed. They do have the usual cycling, treadmill etc as well.

The rooms are really nice and the hotel decor. The reception staff that served us on the other hand aren’t great. They were quite rude and unhelpful. One of the lifts was broken the whole time we were there it wouldn’t stop on our floor and we even got stuck in it once (of course this was the lift that kept opening everytime we needed to use it) so we had to keep pressing the button until a different one came. We told the staff over and over about it and not even an apology or we will get it looked at.

Very good option for Singapore. Big nice rooms, great location, decent facilities and breakfast. Price reasonable for being in central Singapore (not cheap but decent value for what you are getting). Would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Carlton Hotel Singapore for a short staycation with my wife and was happy with the hotel overall. She looks and feels somewhat tired and worn, but still manages to shine. From check-in to check-out, the service was good. The front desk staff were always friendly, welcoming, and eager to assist. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size with all the standard amenities - nothing too fancy but everything you need for a relaxing stay. If you're lucky, you may get an amazing view of the city. I can't say much about the breakfast buffet or the recreational facilities - outdoor pool and gym as we did not try them. There were some hiccups that could've been avoided and marred what could have been a 5 start experience. But the staff tried to ensure we had an enjoyable stay., so kudos to the front desk and housekeeping departments. Overall, I would highly recommend the Carlton Hotel Singapore for its central location, comfortable rooms, great amenities and good customer service.

We had the best 3 days stay at Carlton Hotel recently. My mum needs the wheelchair and I requested for a wheelchair accessible room. The shower/toilet is perfect and very spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. Staffs are very helpful and friendly- reception, housekeeping and lobby attendants. Location is perfect as the hotel is opposite Raffles City and CHIJMES with lots of restaurants and shops. I used the Grab App to hail a cab for most of our trips. We will definitely be back for future stays.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location! The hotel is across the street from the Raffles City Mall and Chijmes Complex (many eateries). The check-in/out went smoothly for our group-the accommodations were clean and spacious! The hotel’s staff were friendly and service was prompt. Overall a very pleasant stay with Carlton. Nice bed with pillows that were not flat unlike many other hotels. Bathtub was spacious and the water pressure was strong. One of the fastest filling bathtub I have seen. Location was superb as well being near Chijmes and Raffles City.

I booked premier room, I like to sit by the window to admire the view. View from room is gorgeous. But the pool is too small, and has no vibe. The hazelnut cake is awesome!!!! Must try!!! And hotel is just few minutes walk from mrt station

Stay with Carlton was decent however had a bad experience with their food service. Ordered at 11pm however waited for and hour plus for the food however has yet to come. Called again and received a replied to wait for their call as they needed to ask their food server. Waited another good 15-20 minutes, however did not receive any call. In the end, we cancelled the order as it was too late. All in all, decent stay but would not go back again.

This resort is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you choose this place you definitely won't be let down. Was here for a CPE training session in Empress ballroom. The lobby and meeting rooms are nice and clean. The receptionist was polite and helpful.

Had a staycation over the Halloween weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean with equally awesome in-room facilities. A downside to it is that there wasn't any bidet in the toilet but overall me and my partner had an awesome experience. The place is just across CHIJMES and Raffles City mall. Walking distance to Bras Basah Complex next door and just minutes away to Bugis, Orchard Road and Chinatown.

I am giving this review while im still here. I checked in on the 14th November to 17th November. Poor service. 1. Complimentary cake supposedly to give on the 14th of November but was only given today (16th November). Needed to be prompt few times. 2. Had to book for the gym. Called the operator at 9.00am they say its fully booked call back after 11.30am.I managed to book a slot at 11.30am.When I register at the gym counter and ask what time is the gym open one of the gym crew says open at 10am -10pm so I waited tomorrow morning and tried to call the gym at 9.30pm as I wanted to book. However, when I called the gym it had opened at 7am to 7pm. I was so unexpected opening hours was that early.I asked whether can I book at 10 am it once again said is fully booked pls called after 11.30am.It looks like the fact the gym is open to use after 11.30am not as mention 7am to 7pm neither 10am -10pm.So please management be certainty of what time the gym can be use for the guests. 3. Next,On the same day 16th November 2021, at about 12:03,pm,I had encounter another incident.Guess what ??Nobody called to inform us regarding the change of door locked. My girlfriend is half naked ( NEED TO MENTION). The security knocked bell and knocked the door and guess what? They opened the door despite I said wait.I called the main line reception about what happened ,the main staff replied oh they should bell the door. I told him somebody still in the room if you unsure should make a call to the room first had courtesy to inform before taking at your own decisions can decide to open the door it is not safe for the guest on our side of privacy.This is absolutely uncalled for.... The first and the last. I regret booking this hotel. No basic customer service. NO BASIC.

Decent hotel right next to Raffles City and Raffles Hotel, walking distance to City Hall and other tourist attractions. Most of the staff are nice and helpful, only issue was asking for a late check out due to my late flight and morning business meetings which makes me unable to come back to the hotel, so I asked if I could check out until 2 PM, a middle aged staff look a lot like the manager at the reception told me straight only 1PM is allowed, no more discussion. When I returned to do the keys a young lady hosted me directly made me a 2PM late checkout without any discussion, I don’t know what happened there, but seems some consistency is needed, and willingness of helping customer, during the period of the pandemic I am also quite sure that the hotel isn’t that busy either, why make things difficult when you can clearly help a customer.

The quality overall is tolerable for the price. Be aware that it's only a 4 star. Pool is tiny but the gym is good. Breakfast has small portions and very limited selection.

Premier room is spacious & has Bathtub. No dedicated level 1 check in area, directly outside a see through baking area which isn't nice.. Location is good with lots of food options

Wonderful service throughout my entire stay. Staff are friendly and attentive - special thanks to Concierge staff Mr Lionel and Cafe Mosaic staff Nazri. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable - slept very well. Breakfast at Cafe Mosaic was nice - though the breakfast menu is listed as sets priced at $18++ each, guests are allowed to order unlimited servings of food so it was essentially an ala carte buffet. Location was great as well, easily accessible and near many food establishments. Will return in future!

Dirty duvet Wasn't told about breakfast terms and conditions. Was told it was a breakfast set, when actually I found out later I could have ordered more. Kids under 5 were not given any food at breakfast. Never booking this overpriced hotel ever again

Very good location located beside Chijmes. Staff were nice but service can be faster. Toiletries like tissue box were not refilled and had to be requested. Overall, decent stay.

My room was amazing and had one of the nicest views I’ve ever had from a hotel window! Lovely staff and efficient service. Shame I didn’t get to use the pool, as it was raining, but it looked like a lovely outdoor area. Usually don’t stay in this area of Singapore when I visit but would definitely like to stay at the Carlton again when I return soon

Great hotel in an excellent location. The room service is great. The staff are very friendly. I got an upgraded view to my original room due to the football jersey I was wearing. That was a very nice touch. I would highly recommend this hotel and I would most certainly come back here the next time I'm in Singapore. Great value for money.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at, very clean, top service and always helpful. Location is excellent as you have everything nearby and walking distance. Only a short drive/walk from the main attractions in Singapore. I do wish they have more variety with the breakfast, but everything was perfect, really enjoyed our stay.

I was truly impressed with the front office guy, Tharma was really nice and act fast to attend to my feedback immediately even it was 8pm+. I was happy with my stay there and it is a strategic location with Raffles City opposite to the hotel. Will definitely make my trip back there!

Excellent property and a very convenient  location. The hotel is close to many shopping centres and attraction sites and it is a  3 minute walk to the train station ( MRT )  . The front desk staff are extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. The property is clean and has a fantastic  charm.The room  is spacious,   clean,  very comfortable and  equipped with all the amenities that a traveller might need. Also , the room has plenty of drawers to store your stuff.  Despite the fact that this hotel is located in the heart of the city , the rooms are very quiet and have a calming vibe every time i enter the room . Expect a free, fast-speed  internet and a TV that you can connect to your device. I just love this place and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family .

Check-in staff were excellent. Aside from their thermostat not functioning properly and a couple of broken power outlets, the room was well-maintained and room service/maintenance were prompt to rectify any issues we were having. Complimentary breakfast provided was delicious and restaurants were well-serviced. With 2 MRT stations within a 5 min walk, concierge service and driver-arrangement services, 5 min walk to many neighboring malls and eateries, which makes it an ideal location to stay and explore.

Overall not bad, though such a shame there is no pool bar and the pool area looks a bit sad. Also an ice machine on the floor is useful as took a while to get it sometimes and uses so much plastic in the containers it comes in.
