We had a good stay during the New Year holidays. Breakfast buffet was delicious, they offer a wide choices of food. Their staff at the reception, restaurant and bar are friendly and accommodating. We had dinner in their restaurant and the waiter was very helpful in choosing what food to order. Everything in this hotel was thought well for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests - the toiletries, food, gym, location etc. This is the only hotel that offer a yoga mat and gym bag for their guest. As to question if they offer yoga class that remain unanswered as I was enjoying the facilities of the hotel and the company of my family that i forgot to ask the hotel!

I was going to give them 5 stars after I checked in. Rooms are great n lobby is nice. Location is good but when we try to swim in the evening OMG!!! Pool side is so dark I wonder how many people trip and fell. Definitely not old folks friendly hotel. Party at the pool side is so noisy Definitely not what we sign up for

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Less than 30 meter to a subway station. Close to china town and easy access to all tourist attractions. Excellent service! Friendly staffs. 20 mins from Airport.

Nice new hotel, all interior are well design n comfortable. Staff are friendly n welcoming. Most like the gym access with VirginActive! It’s been a pleasant stay.

Excellent quality of service and facilities. The location couldn't be more convenient, particularly given the ready access to the train station. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well apportioned with quality fittings. All staff, throughout the hotel, are very attentive and accommodating - from the welcoming reception staff, through to accommodating any exceptional requests. The club lounge provides a quiet respite mid mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Adi and his colleagues are ever-present to cater for all refreshment needs. Isaac and the team in Racines produce an amazing array of quality food - something for almost anyone. Kashmira is very diligent in ensuring that all breakfast requirements are met. I hope to return again on my next visit to Singapore.

Family friendly hotel, especially for kids... A lot teddy bear, spread at lobby. And there's huge bee welcoming us at front door.

Stay for 2 nights with friend. The hotel is nice and clean. However, as an Accor Gold member, I was not given the recognition I expected. I was initially offered the same room as I booked, even though I am entitled to an upgrade. I had to ask for the upgrade, and even then, breakfast was not included, which is usually the case with the upgraded room. I also did not receive any welcome amenities as well. You need to set lower expectation if you stay in this hotel. I gave 3 stars because of Accor membership benefits.

Amazing room, spacious and bright and comes along with a Bose speakers that you can connect to your phone which changes the whole staycay experience. Comes with lovely bathtub and big bathroom. Pillows are v soft but I am ok with it. Wifi and air con are very strong. Comes w a nice working desk which I love. However, expect shopping mall reception counter service standards and you will not be disappointed. This is the only thing the hotel could improve on. Excellent location, right above Tanjong Pagar MRT with lots of food options nearby.

Stayed one night over the weekends here. It was an excellent experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very nicely decorated. Everything was modern, and the amenities that they provided were of decent brands, such as locitane, for their hand soap. The hotel is located very nearby Chinatown as well, just a walking distance of around 10 mins. My only issue was that there was a long queue for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes to be seated even though when we went in, there was empty seats, it seem like there was a lack of staff to bring the people in and prepare the tables. There was a wide spread of variety for breakfast also as well, very scrumptious. Nevertheless, it was one of the best hotels I've stayed at in Singapore.

I look forward to the day I visit again. The lobby, reception, and breakfast staff are very friendly. I had a happy check-in, especially thanks to Irene. It is connected to my poor English mrt, so it is convenient to come directly from the airport. The room and bathroom were very clean and beautiful. The garden of the pool was so beautiful that I was impressed. If I visit Singapore in the future, I will definitely go to the city center. The lounge bar in the lobby looked busy.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of my time was devoted to business activities, with early starts and late endings to each day. Fortunately, the bit of downtime that I did have (the bar, the pool, the nearby shops, and relaxing in the surrounding restaurants) was wonderful and rejuvenating. The room was fantastic and the staff were polite, professional, friendly, and most helpful!

Attended a wedding dinner at Sofitel City on 11 June. Excellent service, immaculate attention to details, delightful menu. Special thanks to Ying Ying and Xue Qi for taking such good care of us and for going the extra mile for us. One of the best experience I had at a 5-star hotel. Thanks so much!

The service is excellent. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Special mention to John Poh for his recommendation on cocktails! Would be good to have more choices for food in the bar. The ambience is good, chill, quiet and there is privacy.

I and my girlfriend chose to stay this hotel for our vacation. First of all, we thought it might be very crowded because of the location which located in the city centre of Singapore but in fact there was peaceful to stay here. Well located and easy to travel around as the subway station is below the hotel's building. The breakfast had many variety of food. We did enjoy our relaxation time at the Club Millesime in the evening. Marj always took a good care of us while we indulged ourselves with many choices of drinks. Room was always awesome with tone and mood. Furthermore, we liked to spend some time to enjoy our tea with the heritage view from our room. We will definitely stay here when we come to Singapore again in the future. Thanks for making us memorable vacation in Singapore.

We recently stayed at Sofitel City Centre and had a lovely time. The location is fabulous as there is a Metro Station under the hotel. It makes it very easy to get around, especially when there were 4 adults and 2 children. The rooms are very well appointed and the staff were extremely helpful

It was a wonderful staycation. Last minute booking and was delighted to be offered a paid upgrade to the club rooms. Food (for lounge and breakfast) was great although there could be more variety. The room was lovely and service was great. The rooms comes fully equipped, great place to do a bit of work while on staycation. It was a bit disappointing that the online request only had 2 options for tea and unable to request for more coffee capsules. But then, there's always coffee and many varieties of tea bags at the lounge.

Overall hotel location and service was great. Staff and janitors are friendly. We love the room quality and cleanliness was great. However, we were quite disappointed with the lounge as it was not conducive and small. We purposely choose the hotel to celebrate our 20th Anniversary but the arrangement was very disappointing. We were hoping for some surprises but nothing in the end except a small slice of cake wrapped with cling wrap.

Great location, great design. The level of service seems to be suffering. Basic amenities like a minibar, toothbaste, regular room cleaning have suffered as of late. My room did not have hot water at all! Sofitel needs to review its "bare bones" guest services strategy.

We arrived at 9am to put our luggage and want to go around the city, but the receptionist, Moghan, welcome Us to check in at that moment, at 9am, omg. Service so nice and very comfy there. Recommended.

everything was good. I was there for 9 nights and had a lovely stay. Kashmiro in the restaurant and Moghan on reception in particular were wonderful and such warm people, they are a credit to you. Many of the staff were lovely and welcoming as well.

This is what you paid for 5 stars hotel…REVIEW 2 WEEKS AGO, but no one can see, I wonder why. if this post can't reach out to people, Google and the hotel have something to do with transparency. Brown water in the hotel and not even a sorry. We booked 2 nights here, check in 2 weeks ago, reception didn’t tell us there will be fire inspection and just split in a paper notice under the room door. So we went out early morning on Saturday, and back to hotel to rest and take bath… but look at the water..

We consider this hotel stay one of the better ones. The upgraded room was excellent, nice, clean and comfortable. Thanks for complimentary room mini bar and car parking. Breakfast and dinner was good and service staff excellent.

The rooms are nice and new, very comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. Service was subpar and items that ran out were not replenished, it was 730am...Breakfast was until 10am. I had to tell the wait staff to refill.

It was a delight hosting our wedding dinner banquet at Sofitel. Fern and her team has exceeded our expectations, they delivered such thoughtful service which ensured a smooth night for us. We received many compliments from our guests for the exceptional food and service (like providing extra blankets for our grandmas and helping them to deshell their prawns). There was also a dedicated staff who took care of us the entire time. We felt that the entire team at Sofitel was experienced and ready for our night, covering details we didn't think of. Thank you for the pleasant experience! :)

Came here for a wedding at a function ballroom and the hotel has very nice decorations and interior designs. The food served tastes good and the service staff are friendly too. Overall, the hotel has a very good and relaxing ambience. The space is also spacious and well-ventilated. Took some photos of the city view as well, and the view is quite good!

It was an amazing stay! everything was perfect, really enjoyed my stay there, especially the bathroom amenities, the L'occitane is so relaxing and luxurious. The bed and the linen were so comfy. Staff were super nice and helpful.

Quality is in the smallest details and they mastered those here at the Sofitel hotel. Just a heads up you have to take the elevator up to the fifth floor to get to the front desk :) Everything down to the personal touches from housekeeping and the staff going above and beyond made my stay an amazing experience.

Irene the receptionist is very helpful towards the check in. Provide the best service and informationabout the hotel. From rollaway bed to the arrangement of cakes and the mascot bee. It's so attentive of them. Glad to be back for the stay after one year. Alot of things improve. Well done sofitel. Enjoy my stay. Thank you.

First time travelling back to Singapore since the pandemic, this is an excellent hotel with nice ,clean and spacious room, good service, very helpful staff. It's located in a very convenient location. There is a good bar, restaurant, gym and very good swimming pool, the only complaint is that not enough vegetarian item on the menu. Overall it was a good experience, highly recommended

Went for wedding dinner. They have slight higher rate for banquet..but i attended twice. Banquet food is not bad. Service is not bad too. Location is easy to locate too.

Stayed here for a night at after booking through Agoda. Nonetheless, certain Accor Plus benefits was still recognized by the hotel. The checking in process had a bumpy start. The room wasn't ready till 6 pm but they worked hard to provide a room to wait in before the suite is ready and also offered a late check out till 4pm. Things picked up after that, the standard premium room itself that we got before the suite was pretty nice. They have a comfortable working desk area and I like that tea pots and Nespresso coffee are provided rather than the typical tea cups only. We got the room around 4:30 pm, they helped move our stuff to the Prestige Suite (1612). The suite is very spacious and nice with full-length windows where you can have a panoramic view of Duxton Hill and Tras Street area. They have a more premium coffee machine in the suite, a Nespresso machine with a milk foam function. The toiletries are different as well, they use Balmain while the premium room uses Lanvin. The in-room dining menu was updated with discounted prices for Accor Plus members too. The afternoon tea set was around 62 SGD for 2. The bed is a little soft but still quite comfortable. The TVs provided have Youtube functionality that worked seamlessly. The main issues with the room is the shower lacked pressure and the plugs are not well-designed. The sockets are too close to each other (like those on the working desk), and often rendering one unusable. Multi-plugs does quite work as well as the sockets are too close to the edges as well. We had the Apero-Chic Evening Cocktail Session which was held at the lobby lounge at level 5 instead of the usual club lounge on level 6. The food was delicious and better than expected. The drink list is a little limited in comparison to other hotels' offerings. Breakfast is at Raccines, the hotels' in-house restaurant. We went for the Western options and thought they were quite delicious. However, they do not provide butter and jam unless requested for the croissants or pain au chocolat which are part of the set breakfasts. The coffee's one of the better ones out there. We also visited the swimming pool which was a little crowded on a Sunday morning. After swimming a few laps we also realized the swimming pool was stagnant, the overflow wasn't operating in the main pool which could be a hygiene issue. Overall, despite a bumpy start to the stay, it was a lot better than expected. The food was delicious, the hotel room was great and the service was good in general from pre-check in inquiries to checking out.

Room: 5* Location: 5* Breakfast: 3* Second staycation at Sofitel City Centre. Room on 16th floor overlooking Tanjong Pagar - supremely comfortable, with electronic lighting, comfortable chaise-lounge with side table, and practical working desk. Nespresso coffee and TWG tea, BOSE Bluetooth speaker, large flat-screen TV and super comfortable bed. Location also brilliant - a plethora of eateries, picturesque side streets to explore and also shopping within easy reach. Breakfast was disappointing - one mains (small), and some side dishes. No bread platter (only those sides with bread), and fruit dish was... a little sad. I understand that prices are low right now with restricted travel, so when normal pricing resumes, your breakfast experience may improve. Breakfast service was somewhat perfunctory, but got the job done (I know it's a tough job, being service crew, but this is just my observation). Check-in service was efficient and quite friendly, but there were no queues, this being a midweek stay. Overall, this may seem like a semi-critical review, but actually, if breakfast is not your focus, this was a really good stay!

First impressions Clean and modern, professional staff greeted us and all as you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Room Very elegant bathroom, nice separate bath and shower. Very comfortable bed with mattress topper. Good quality TV and separate bose speakers. Nespresso machine for morning coffee. View over the pool was nice. Food We only did room service for dinner, breakfast not included, the food was decent and perfectly fine for room service. I had the crab fried rice, plentiful portion, wife had club sandwich which was good. Gym Very good facilities, nice cool air con too, very impressed with the gym. Pool Very impressive views of nearby buildings, as it is high up, I certainly enjoyed my morning swim, it wasn't busy at all at that time before breakfast. Overall A good choice, however location isn't too good for sight seeing but we were stopping over in Singapore for one night before heading to KL and it suited us perfectly.

The concierge service is 5 star. They went above and beyond to help me with last minute bookings and even secured them with expert negotiation and contacts for restaurants and high tea. Daniel was one particular staff member who was persistent and helped me a lot. He made a huge difference for my family and kids’ stay. He was quick and friendly in managing our itinerary on short notice. Thank you so much !

Got connecting rooms and the luxury rooms were spacious! Everything looks clean and new. Default pillows were too soft but u can request for firmer foam pillows. Self service buffet breakfast was alright. Pool environment is great. Check-in and out was smooth. Complimentary drinks if you're an accor member. Highly recommend you go for drinks at their level5 bar area, chill and cosy place.

Excellent service. I came on a business trip, the gym area is open 24h, clean and accessible. The breakfast had a nice selection, the rooms were very comfortable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Excellent choice.

Held our wedding at the hotel, we are happy with the service provided. Could have improve on coordination and the event timeline better. We enjoyed our stay too after a long day.

Considering the price the hotel did not deliver. The internet was frustratingly slow, the pool seating was dirty and poorly maintained, there did not appear to be any bar service at the pool but rather a small members only dinning space which made the area feel unwelcoming in my opinion. The staff was friendly and the room itself was quite nice but the little extras that make the premium you pay worth it were absolutely not up to par.

My recent stay at Sofitel City Centre hotel was truly exceptional. The room was spacious and tastefully designed, providing a comfortable and modern ambiance. The service from the staff was impeccable, with their attentiveness and helpfulness exceeding my expectations. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a wide array of delicious options to suit every palate. The hotel's nice swimming pool was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, enjoyable amenities, and convenient location.

First experience a few years back was a good one. Decided to make a 2pax reservation for the Pink Afternoon Tea Set to celebrate a birthday this time round. Everyone else around us were already eating so we assumed they were left to serve just us. Arrived at 3pm, ordered a couple of minutes after but the food was only served at 3.50pm. 50 minutes of waiting for food that cost over a hundred bucks? Staff was not apologetic about the delay. Even asked if any explanation about the food is needed. Shouldn’t that be part of the protocol though?The least they could do is let us know if the food is going to take this long to be served. Will not return for the third time, ever. Truffle fries ordered on the sides were a hard as sticks - it seemed almost as if they were refried. Such a huge disappointment for such a globally renowned hotel.

Enjoy stay 2 night here. Very nice bed to relax and sleep. Room is new and swimming pool is good. With open gym 24 hours on 5th floor. Convenient to walk to China town. Very enjoy for good quality of breakfast. And bellboy give my daughter Ahmeng’s doll.

Rooms were super spacious and modern. The location of the hotel is very convenient for food, bars, transport. Pool area wasn’t very well maintained though, dirty towels thrown across the floor. Other thing was the staff service just didn’t go the extra mile. Often the staff just hid behind their counters. Wasn’t proactive in greeting and helping guests. Expected a lot more from a top tier hotel in terms of experience.

We chose this hotel due to its location and recommendation. It right above an MRT station and very close to Chinatown. The rooms were very well appointed and well serviced with daily servicing and replacement of used items. Breakfast buffet had a great variety and all items cooked perfectly. A point for hospitality would be to ensure all items from the previous evening, both in the breakfast room and associated lounge, should be removed and the floors cleaned of any food items dropped. These basic cleaning mishaps didn't present very well. Loved the teddie bears on the coach's every morning, brought a smile to our faces. We had a few issues within the Club Lounge with bad service on several evenings. Staff were often absent and when present, were on their phones with tables needed to be cleared and guests to accommodate. The evening service at the lounge is only for a few hours so expected full engagement. This was addressed immediately after raising a concern. Every staff member represents the Sofitel brand and perhaps more training would enhance the guest experience. Would definitely return despite the issues experienced.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay at the Sofitel. We chose it based on its star rating and found that it was very underwhelming. The hotel is due for a renovation and really shouldn't be branded a luxury hotel. The rooms are mostly clean but we did have to request cleaning staff return to rewash the shower screens. We requested a top sheet be added to the bed 3 times but this didn't happen despite the follow up. Our room door was left open when we returned after staff dropped off a laundry slip. Before heading down to the pool, we asked if bar service was available and were told it was; however, this was not the case and we had to wait 45mins for our drinks to be brought up from the main bar. Adding to this, the breakfast buffet was limiting and the service (aside from the staff at the front entrance on the street) was average. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a luxury stay.

Sofitel hosted my wedding dinner banquet. One year in the making, from booking the ballroom to checking out of the bridal suite, the experience has been a great one. All the staff we communicated with, the Sales Manager Agnes, Banquet Manager Neilson, etc. are friendly and helpful. They made sure the banquet ran smoothly. This would not have been possible without such a dedicated team. The banquet food was very good. We received multiple compliments from our guests. It helps that the ballroom ceiling (Wallich) is very high, offering good acoustics for both music and conversation and preventing either from overpowering the other. The bridal suite is luxurious, definitely a treat to have stayed there two nights (we topped up one night). If you are considering hosting a dinner banquet for your wedding and are planning to invite many guests, we highly recommend :)

Sofitel lives up to it's 5 star rating. It's a great place to book for a comfortable stay around not too busy location. Rooms are great , restaurant offer French and Chinese food options with good food quality. Restaurant offers limited vegetarian food options, but there are good restaurants outside which are at a walkable distance and you can try new restaurant everyday. Staff is polite and friendly, takes good care of guests. They have nice swimming pool on level 6 where guests can relax after a busy day or complete their morning workout. There are many other hotels near by with commercial complex near by and shopping options in walkable range. I had good experience staying here for 11 days. I only recommend increasing vegetarian food options so that guests like me who prefer vegetarian food can better enjoy our stay and food at hotel.

Nice lounge area, great ambience to chat with your companions, not too crowded on weekend afternoons. Best part is the huge bear soft toy on every seat- you’ll never feel lonely. I had a flat white and it was not bad. There’s a decent selection of tea - unlimited hot water refill. There are tarts, cakes, macarons and more for the sweet tooth. As for the savoury food lovers, I’d recommend the chicken satay and truffle fries. Yummy! Would come back again. Service was awesome too.

Postponed twice due to Heightened Alert. Finally managed to stay here and it was relaxing and wonderful! All day refreshments and cocktail session was a bonus for us which we really enjoyed alot. Loved that the hotel operates on smart technology which means I don’t have to keep calling operators. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to front desk Andrew who made check-in so seamless and acceded to our request. Will definitely come back to stay again!

Good location for this 5 stars hotel The room was spacious, the Club Millésime was nice, good food. The only problem of the hotel is the temperature of the Air Conditioning which is way too low and it is way too cold. You arrive from outside where it is 32/35 degrees and suddenly you are at 17/18 degrees! I got a cold and a sore throat! For the environment, as the hotel seems to care, reduce the AC and fix it to a higher temperature. This is a step for the environment! Otherwise all was perfect! Ugly decoration of the lobby bar. Plastic flowers and all those awful bears, but I hope it is temporary.

I engaged Sofitel to host my wedding banquet and it was a wonderful experience. The suite and room were both clean, spacious and they were well equipped too. The walls and design in the hotel, ballroom and rooms are modern as well. Banquet food was good but subject to individual preference as I did top up for it. Hotel area is convenient as there is direct MRT below and also nearby F&B stalls. Sales manager Agnes was responsive and attended to my wants and needs. Front desk, housekeeper and other hotel staffs are polite and friendly. Service was good. High praise for banquet manager/coordinator Wilson, very solid hosting and planning. Not only did he gave me assurance but also made the dinner event smooth and wonderful. Will definitely recommend.
