Worst experience in any hotel i have ever stayed. Booked for 7 nights. Checked in at 9pm on day 1. Checked out at 10pm on day 1! Couldn't see myself and my family even stay for a night! Toilet had stains everywhere. Aircon not even slightly cold. And the worst part, lump of hair found under the pillows. Seriously consider other hotels before even booking here. Requested for a refund but till now no answer or reply from hotel. Hi hotel? More like bye bye hotel.

For $170 a night, you are better off staying elsewhere. FYI I left a review on Expedia, but it seems like the hotel is blocking bad reviews on Expedia. 1. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And that's the only pros. Cons: 2. Dust was everywhere in the room and outside. Common touch areas like cups and top of fridge had a layer of dust on them. Dust are also on the wall. 3. Toilet was dirty with long hair in toilet and many shaved hair at sink. 4. The beds are terrible. Instead of a single king bed, 2 single beds were combined together. The beds springs are totally haywire and you will sink into the floor. 5. The towels have holes in them.

My birthday staycation at this hotel turned out to be the worst experience ever. The hotel lobby had no air conditioning, and the service was terrible. The staff appeared unprofessional, using their phones and eating, making it seem like they had no interest in serving guests. The room was unclean, emitting an unpleasant odor of age. I noticed blue paint stains in the bathtub and black stains on the bedsheets. To my surprise, they provided only one toothbrush kit despite two of us staying. The toilet had a foul smell, resembling poop, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, the air conditioner was dripping water, and the door felt vulnerable, making it seem easy for anyone to break in. The worst part was that the toilet door couldn't close fully. When we called for service at night, there was no response, and we later found out there were no night shift personnel available. It was frustrating to have to buy an extra toothbrush set from a convenience store. To make matters worse, the swimming pool was under maintenance, and the hotel didn't inform us beforehand. This was disappointing as I specifically chose a hotel with a pool. Overall, the experience was a 0/10, and I would never consider staying at this hotel again. There are much better options in the vicinity with superior rooms and service. I will never come back for this “Hi hotel” Bye hotel!!!

Nice and cool, location is great, parking is public by the road side, there's lotsa eateries around here and its walking distance. Close to the popular tourist attraction which is the Arab street. Also if you're talking public there's lotsa buses around here, as for the train it's quite a distance but still walkable. Bugis shopping centre is also walking distance. Overall it's a good cozy hotel.

The whole room totally out of expectation in the photo from what they posted, toilet is dirty no toilet paper at all. Can hear the steps and people talking and shouting outside our room. Staff was not freindly acting rude when we tap the card to the door and can't open he come to help, and keep saying in a not nice way of tone voice. All in all very poor service.

1/5? No, it's 0/5, but I cannot choose 0/5 on google rating. Regret for not looking at the google reviews before booking this XY hotel. It was a HORRENDOUS experience! The check-in was smooth and everything seems acceptable at the lobby area. We took the lift and it's those kind of lift which required us to press continuously for it to move up to level 2. Not an issue for us thou but it's kinda scary. But thereafter, here comes the problems: 1. The corridor to our room was so dark that we need to switch on our torch on our mobile to find the room number. 2. Went into the room, it was so dusty, dirty and there's stains here and there. The room was poorly maintained and it's so unhygienic. 3. My bf has sensitive nose; hence, we requested to change the room via text message. 4. Not wanting to wait any further, we went out of the room and wanted to head down to the reception area to ask for a change, but we bumped into the hotel manager outside our room. Just when we want to tell him the issue, he asked us to keep quiet, don't say anything because there's a guest there. Then he continue saying that I give you free upgrade, you don't say anything, then he opened another room right in front of our previous room and asked us to go in and see if it's ok, while he bring another guest to the room that was assigned to us previously. At a quick glance, the room seems ok, but when we on the aircon, it was so noisy and there's water leakage from the aircon. 5. My boyfriend went down immediately and the hotel manager said just leave, we will refund you rudely and he became dramatic. We left. All in all, this hotel is full of nonsense, worst than other 3 stars hotel out there. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! Really ridiculous! WORST HOTEL EVER! PERIOD.

My experience at your hotel was quite disappointing. First, upon arriving at the lobby, the air conditioning was broken, which created a negative first impression. Secondly, this stay was meant to be a special birthday celebration for my girlfriend, and I had made some requests on the Agoda app, but none of them were fulfilled. While I understand that some requests may not be possible, it would have been appreciated if the hotel had informed me in advance. Moreover, the room looked different from the pictures shown on Agoda, and I had booked a honeymoon suite but found only one disposable toothbrush provided. When I tried to request additional items from the front desk, there was no staff available, and the contact numbers provided were unanswered. This lack of assistance and security concerns about the empty front counter were concerning. Additionally, the toilet had a foul smell near the toilet bowl, and the sliding door was faulty and couldn't be fully closed. These issues should have been addressed during housekeeping. Lastly, I was disappointed to learn that the swimming pool was under maintenance upon my arrival. This was a significant factor in choosing this hotel, and it would have been better if guests were informed about the pool's status before arrival to avoid disappointment. Overall, these issues caused distress and frustration during my girlfriend's birthday staycation, which was supposed to be a special occasion. I hope the hotel can provide an explanation and take measures for service recovery as this experience was unacceptable.

Downright terrible stay. Upon entering the first hotel room at Hi Hotel, the room did not look cleaned and seemed like it was in the midst of a renovation. The 'carpeting' was not properly done and the concrete floor was visible. When we checked the bed, there were stains on the sheets, so we decided to go to the front desk and request for a change of room. The staff was super hesitant and tried to insist 'there was no stain' because they 'sent their sheets for cleaning and it came back like that already'. This was ridiculous especially because she didn't even ask to see the room. She made all these assumptions without even stepping foot into the room. She eventually relented and gave us a new room, and it was no better— stains on the walls, dusty and dirty windows, toilet floors with chipped concrete. I would barely even call this a hotel.

Terrible experience there! The room is not matching with what we saw in website at all. Poor reception service, and the bathtub is not working. The wallpaper is falling, and no actual bed which makes it even more terrible is that, there are a several serious potential safety issues. Warning!

Cons X No Staff after probably office hours. Any needs and services you might expect it not to be seen to. Staff did came back 30mins after to deal with the issues though. X TV is either spoilt, or subscription to singtel not paid for? Couldnt access anything. X Stains here and there, on Bedding, blanket, Towel, Floor Rug. X Broken Toilet Seat. X Dust in many visable corners and surfaces. Like Bedhead, switch, kettle, tv. X Broken Lights. X Aircon were dusty and seemed not maintained X Ants around entrance and bathroom X Pool been closed for maybe 1 year Pros. V Staff even though not around, immediately made the way back to settle certain issues. V Rain Shower was nice V Aircon coolness was good Soooooo, I do feel this place requires much improvement. Renovations and maintenance of the place. Staff to take care of the place. Room Cleanliness and Hygiene need vast improvement. Not sure if change of management will help. But for the staff who attended to me, thank you for doing your best still. 🙏

It is ridiculous that there is no room service provided and no towel exchange at the moment. I can’t imagine a hotel without room cleaning service as I book for three nights. The bathtub is leaking to the toilet floor with no problem maintenance and the corner are full of dust. It is indeed much improvement is needed as we paid for the room and services. Besides, there is limited parking. The light bulb is blinking. 😅

Near plenty of restaurants, very convenient to bus and subway. The owner was super nice and seem to run the entire operation. The pictures are not quite representative of the actual hotel. It feels more like a hostel. It needs serious renovations - and basic ones like dusting!!!! (There was probably 5 years of dust built up on wires, lights and fixtures). Understand when you book here, you are not getting a mattress. You get a VERY THIN futon and the room will not be cleaned (we stayed 5 days). Loved the pool though!

We stayed in the cloud suite which looked really cool in pictures, but when we got in, it looked a lil different. There was no blue/purple lighting like in the picture. The room was huge and so was the bathtub (let it run for about 30 minutes or more to fill it up) however, the room was a little run down, and cleanliness/maintenance should be improved. Air conditioning was amazing though. We were quite disappointed because we were really looking forward to the room stay. It was underwhelming in general, not exactly worth the hype or the cloud suite price. Ps. they don't have usb wall sockets so do bring your charger head along for the stay.

HI.. well. Hello. Where do we start with you.. First impressions - the staff were alright, although uncle seemed nice, bar him being barefoot and mask-less, which didn't show professionalism. He was willing to show people around, however, which was a start. The lady at the check-in desk asked me first for paperwork, despite my partner saying they were the one who had booked it, multiple times. The door to the room looked like it hadn't been wiped down in weeks, but the biggest issue was a falling apart doorframe! One big kick and there goes any room security. The shower wasn't clean, had hair in it, marks, soap scum on the glass, and was nowhere near the standard it should be. The toilet.. Only one half of a roll of toilet paper isn't exactly a great look, given no other roll was provided. Nor were black marks on it. Hair was also found in this area. The basin. Having no soap provided for handwashing is a little bit of a no-no in covid times. The bath mat was on the floor in the bedroom, which is a little unusual, but still understandable. Towels also seem a little bit on the small side. Main room. Dusty, floorboards look like they could do with a mop. Definitely needs some TLC. The box with the amenities (Kettle/Hair Dryer, etc) was also very dusty. They could use a wipe down with a damp cloth. Condensation was found on the crockery, requiring wiping down. Definitely could tell it was clean, however they needed better airing out. Television.. don't expect to get 3/4 of the main channels in Singapore, they aren't here. 5 channels at best, only 3 of which work. The bed. Comfortable, but not outstanding. Could do with an extra two pillows. No extra blankets here either, so if you get cold, you're out of luck. The hanging space is basically an open metal bar with coathangers. Adds to the room but barely, and needs a repaint. The mirror is chipped and slightly dirty. Paint also has chips in areas, other areas need painting over to cover marks. The aircon unit is in need of a good clean-up, filters and probably servicing. It has occasional bursts of cold air, but sounds more like a shower running when it does. The lighting is a confusing mess of 12 unlabled switches next to the door. Good luck if you need the toilet in the middle of the night, you're going to struggle to find it. The room itself. The artwork is okay, a little confronting and awkward, a bit odd that it hasn't been changed in 4 years, and therefore, that makes the room somewhat feel dated. It does match the photos online, but only barely. Beside the peephole and the feature wall, not very much actually ties the room together and stops it being somewhat generic. Unique soft furnishings could help this. The rest of the hotel seems to look okay, although the bamboo mat in the hallway, and the push to operate lift is strange. The stairway being not very well lit is also a major safety concern, particularly with the dark walls. Something to offset this would be more art, or adding strip lighting to the stairs. Overall, management may have failed the staff (in particular housekeeping), which flows all the way down to the customer. Given all of the above issues, now's your chance to redeem yourself. Pick up your game, and we'll say HI.. again.

Probably my worse experience in a boutique hotel so far. Everything is dusty and there are stains on the bedsheets and walls. I heard continuous banging from the room above me, so I decided to ask the hotel clerk to ask them to stop. As I walked into the lobby, the clerk was sleeping on one of the sofa seats so I woke him up and told him about the noise which he said he would tell them. An hour later the noise continued, I told him again and he said he told them already in a annoyed manner. I didn't pay $100+ to hear noises of footsteps all day and night. And your staff are unprofessional and your rooms are dirty and disappointing.

First and foremost, this review is not to put down the staff but the management should look into the hotel condition, maintenance etc. Staff can only do so much unless the management step in to see to these issues. My partner and I arrived at the Hotel on 19-Mar at 5pm, we were told to wait. Do note that the check-in time is supposedly at 3pm. About 6pm, I was told that the room was ready and I could check-in but the TV had no "cable connection" and to wait for the connection to be fixed. I refused to check-in yet. What's the point of checking-in and settling in for the night yet issue is not resolved? I told the front desk lady this and she was unable to confirm when the issue could be resolved. She offered two alternative rooms which she showed; - Alternative Room 1 was much smaller and yet to be cleaned. The floor was sticky. - Alternative Room 2 where the door couldn't be opened. She tried several times after which I commented maybe the room was not meant to be opened. By this timing, I was frustrated by the poor service and found that it's a waste of time. Housekeeping then informed that the TV was now functioning so we proceed to check-in the room. It's about 6.30-6.45pm. Issues with the room: - Dusty - Aircon is facing an odd angle hence the cold air is not circulating - The mattress seems to make up of 2 separate single mattresses - The walls seems to have condensation - Found several cockroaches at the bed area and even in the fridge - There were cups and coffee sachets available in the room but no sign of kettle - The TV disappointingly only has 3 or 4 channels So we checked-in close to 7pm but check-out time was at 12.30pm. What the staff could at least offer was a late check-out since they couldn't even check us in promptly and hassle-free.

Literally the worst place ever. Firstly when i came in the staff were super unprofessional. 1. Asked me to check in later to wait for my other party. 2. The lift is a hassle as it’s one of those needing to hold on the button till your level. The staff didn’t even assist me when i was clueless on how to use. 3. Got my first room, there was TRASH everywhere. the room was not even ready. 4. Got my second room, DUST EVERYWHERE. I don’t easily get allergies but this place triggered it. toilets were crusty, stains and cracks on the walls. best part was the kettle pot had MOLD. 5. Requested for a different room, they wanted me to take back the first room “after cleaning about 20 mins” We waited over 30. Still not ready. 6. Got in the room we were first assigned to, same situation as room 2. I was super fed up and requested for a refund and to talk to a Manager. The staff kept ignoring me and attend to other people. The cleaner / admin? staff was quite rude. they offered me 2 more rooms that was just worst then the others. 3 hours later i couldn’t take it anymore, i booked another place while waiting for the manager to contact me. she didn’t until i raised my concern to her again 20 mins later. i wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. wanted to try this as it was hyped back then and the food options in the area is good. They charged the price when it was XY. it’s not worth the price now. The place is just horrible.

Rooms are okay but there is nothing on the name of service. No manager and staff is available after 7 PM. We're unable to pay money to them due to any technical issue, they remind us many time for the payment but pay attention towards service.

No window for a $230 room is quite a let down. The rooms they have listed are the nicer rooms (perhaps). The bathtub was stained and the TV was subsituted for a 80” projector screen, yup just the screen and the projector. No HDMI connector, no smart/android box setup. We were expected to bring our own laptop and VGA converter to this room that was right next to the hotel lobby. However, none of them were real issues, just found it very annoying that for the price we got something closer to a illegal hostel.

Lousy stay. Hair everywhere, don't seem like was well kept. Dusty enclosed place, having window can't open. Seem like some hotels in the 1990s. Genting free hotel is much better than this. Room 105 is my worst nightmare! 8/10 reviews online was fake! Never believe it. Very rude uncle to mend the place.. Pls! Stay away

Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for staycation. Reality and photo is totally out of expectations . I got cheated by the photos to come here for a 2d1n stay ended up to know that it’s actually for people who wants “quick and easy”. The moment I stepped into the “hotel” which’s more like a hostel, 1 ladies was sitting on the sofa and the other one was lying down with both her feets on the seat using their phone. At first I thought they were customer till I walk to the counter they came to approach me. upon entering the room, there’s a strong durian smell, thought someone next door is having their feast. But the moment when I opened the fridge I almost fainted. Someone left their half eaten durian with soju inside. I couldn’t stand the smell so I have to bring it out to the table just outside the room. The smell took few hours to totally go off in the room. But once you open the fridge again the smell is still there even after spraying perfume afew time. Worst experience ever. Don’t expect anyone to greet you upon entering , I believe those reviews are written by the staff and owners there. I Booked my hotel very last min and I gotten the junior suite which claims to be 248sq ft which’s more like 180sq ft for $256 I don’t think it’s even worth. For the price, I can stayed a much better hotel, due to my booking was last min, most of the hotel rooms are sold. Else I won’t even have a look at this hotel. It’s not even worth a 100 bucks honestly. Location is good tho. About 10mins walking distance from the hotel to Bugis. other than that nothing I could compliment about this hotel (the staff there still asked me “for day use?”) I was like the app didn’t even stated day or night use. I came here purely for my staycation. Afterwards I start to realise it’s actually a “quick and easy” hotel but slightly better than hotel 81 I guess? (Thou I didn’t been to those budget hotels before) but oh well. Don’t put too much expectations here (:

Great location and easy access to malls, hospital and restaurants. I mean a lot of restaurants situated just a few minutes away from this hotel. The staff who checked me in was very accomodating and efficient. There was a pool at the second level if you wish to cool

Despite previous google reviews I was pleasantly surprised by HI Hotel. The accommodation was clean, tidy and as represented in the images. The air conditioner worked perfectly, and the room as a whole was actually very quiet. The pool was perfect, with no other guests using the pool throughout the stay leading to a great experience. The staff at the hotel were highly accommodating, including allowing us to check-in early without notice, providing any requested items during the stay and helping with any questions. Yes, there could have been a little bit of handy work done around the property but nothing super noticeable. Overall, we were pleased with the HI Hotel, especially given the price for the room compared to others in SIngapore.

Location is good, near to many food places and cafes. Less than 5 minutes to 7-11 and highly rated cafes in Singapore. Cool pool that is see through to the first level, and nice to chill at night. Can be better maintained though to upkeep the vibes and comfort for guest.

Booked the suite room for $200+ . Didn’t think it’s worth the money. The toilet it’s see through . Thought there would be blinds or what . The pillowed were abit flat and only given 1 for each pax . When we first entered the room, there were a lot of ants in the sink and also some strands of hair in the bath tub. It could have been so easy for the hotel cleaner to clean all those before new guest arrives right, but nope … and yea the shower head don’t seem to be working . So had to use the spray near the bowl to shower . Oh yea and no bathrobes for the price :(

Terrible experience with this hotel!!! The hotel does not have staff at tye reception to assist us in checking in. Try calling their contact through the booking website. the line is forever busy. Manage to get their office number by calling agora, but the office number is just at the lobby, which has no one there. Go through agoda processes every time when I call back, and they can give me a satisfied answer but blame customer for not checking in on time at 12pm when they allow me to book at 5pm for the rooms, i waiting for 1 hour. During the entire waiting, I even manage to spot a big mouse at the lobby!!!

Tbh we weren't expecting anything good from the hotel stay due to the many ridiculously bad reviews I've seen on Google. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by the manager who also handled our check in. It was a breeze and we immediately got our room. We were honestly bracing ourselves for dirty rooms as the other reviewers had given and were prepared to do some of our own housekeeping since we're quite particular about cleanliness. Upon entry to our room, we did a quick inspection of the room and it was spotless clean! No stray hairs, no dust bunnies, no food crumbs. Heck, we even dragged our feet across the floor to see if any dirt or dust would stick to them but nope. We agree that the room may need some minor repairs; a little bit of painting to keep it fresh and a strong lacquer for the painted wooden floors as some of the paint were peeling off. However, we thought that these weren't essential for the time being, considering Covid and all the uncertainties that come with it. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the room. We're not too crazy about the stone lions art but hey, to each his own right? Art is still art, no matter. The pool was really beautiful and a perfect escape. Think Bangkok without the crowd or the wrong company. It was exceptionally wonderful at night! The entire atmosphere of the hotel was perfect for introverts like us that just wanna escape our busy schedules. Not gonna lie, both nights were one of the best sleep I've had in the longest time. Pricing wise, we thought it was quite pricey for a night's stay in the suite. It would be more enticing if it was around $180 for the suite, we think. We truly appreciate the staffs' friendliness and helpfulness. They even prepared handwritten notes with hand drawn cute emojis. I mean, which other hotel is this personalised? Keep it up guys!

Seriously very upset paying $188 for the movie suite. It was for a night but my boyfriend and me immediately went out after 4-5 hours of spending time there. They did say that there were no pillow covers, and that it will take some time for the laundry to come, but also we were given super small towels that couldn’t even fit for an adult. The wires for the projector were faulty and it keeps distracting when I’m watching a show. Then after sometime, my boyfriend’s phone had no battery, we told then and they said they would lend us a tablet, just to watch and to return it upon check out. But after that they say they couldnt lend due to management decision. Lol, its a really disappointing stay here. Would never ever return here again tbh.

*Note: the purpose of this feedback is not to put the team down, but to provide some insights on how they can improve the hotel. Stays: Honeymoon Suite, Price: ~$200+ A few good things first: The team is polite, and helpful. Although I called the night before about the check-in timing, one of the male staff took the extra mile to drop me a text the next day to inform me of a possible early check-in. He and one of the female staff are very friendly too. Many other things to take note: - The whole place is cramped and dusty. (Even the the furnitures at the lobby is dusty already - imagine the rest of the hotel) -We found cobwebs on our bedframe, -The paint around the aircon is peeling, -The bathroom door couldn’t be closed, and -The floor of the bathroom is peeling, -DO NOT open the curtains, -Lastly, the staff are not in a coherent uniform (some of them are in their own shirts) The place doesn’t feel like a hotel: it either it feels like a hostel, or a hotel in Msia (so sorry!). I don’t think it worth the price I’m paying. It doesn’t help when there are similar hotels round the corner but they look more up to standard. Tbh, the place looks so good in the pictures - I am just saddened that turns out to be the opposite. I strongly urged the management to pay attention to the details and I look forward to see more positive feedbacks in the future.

poor hygiene. very dusty. the ceiling is also leaking water? air conditioner is also leaking water. fridge not working too. bed positioned at a weird angle directly infront of the projector. making it hard for people to watch movie from the bed. so much for “movie suite”. When i told the staff my heater isnt working. she simply replied “oh, theres nth we can do abt it. it should be working” . shes not rude, just useless/unhelpful. well.

Booked the Suite Color Clouds for our staycation but overall I wouldn't recommend it or I would say is my first and last stay in this hotel. Location is very convenient as it's just a 10 mins walk from Bugis MRT. Staff were friendly is just that the cleanliness of the hotel is the worse that I ever encounter. The moment I step in the room, I saw some hair on the bed. There's black stain on the cubicle and I even saw a yellow rubber item that seems to be a condom in the bath tub!! I took the image and send it to the staff and they arrange the cleaner to come up to clean the toilet again. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the air-condition doesn't seems to be working well too.
