HI..
well.
Hello.
Where
do
we
start
with
you..
First
impressions
-
the
staff
were
alright,
although
uncle
seemed
nice,
bar
him
being
barefoot
and
mask-less,
which
didn't
show
professionalism.
He
was
willing
to
show
people
around,
however,
which
was
a
start.
The
lady
at
the
check-in
desk
asked
me
first
for
paperwork,
despite
my
partner
saying
they
were
the
one
who
had
booked
it,
multiple
times.
The
door
to
the
room
looked
like
it
hadn't
been
wiped
down
in
weeks,
but
the
biggest
issue
was
a
falling
apart
doorframe!
One
big
kick
and
there
goes
any
room
security.
The
shower
wasn't
clean,
had
hair
in
it,
marks,
soap
scum
on
the
glass,
and
was
nowhere
near
the
standard
it
should
be.
The
toilet..
Only
one
half
of
a
roll
of
toilet
paper
isn't
exactly
a
great
look,
given
no
other
roll
was
provided.
Nor
were
black
marks
on
it.
Hair
was
also
found
in
this
area.
The
basin.
Having
no
soap
provided
for
handwashing
is
a
little
bit
of
a
no-no
in
covid
times.
The
bath
mat
was
on
the
floor
in
the
bedroom,
which
is
a
little
unusual,
but
still
understandable.
Towels
also
seem
a
little
bit
on
the
small
side.
Main
room.
Dusty,
floorboards
look
like
they
could
do
with
a
mop.
Definitely
needs
some
TLC.
The
box
with
the
amenities
(Kettle/Hair
Dryer,
etc)
was
also
very
dusty.
They
could
use
a
wipe
down
with
a
damp
cloth.
Condensation
was
found
on
the
crockery,
requiring
wiping
down.
Definitely
could
tell
it
was
clean,
however
they
needed
better
airing
out.
Television..
don't
expect
to
get
3/4
of
the
main
channels
in
Singapore,
they
aren't
here.
5
channels
at
best,
only
3
of
which
work.
The
bed.
Comfortable,
but
not
outstanding.
Could
do
with
an
extra
two
pillows.
No
extra
blankets
here
either,
so
if
you
get
cold,
you're
out
of
luck.
The
hanging
space
is
basically
an
open
metal
bar
with
coathangers.
Adds
to
the
room
but
barely,
and
needs
a
repaint.
The
mirror
is
chipped
and
slightly
dirty.
Paint
also
has
chips
in
areas,
other
areas
need
painting
over
to
cover
marks.
The
aircon
unit
is
in
need
of
a
good
clean-up,
filters
and
probably
servicing.
It
has
occasional
bursts
of
cold
air,
but
sounds
more
like
a
shower
running
when
it
does.
The
lighting
is
a
confusing
mess
of
12
unlabled
switches
next
to
the
door.
Good
luck
if
you
need
the
toilet
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
you're
going
to
struggle
to
find
it.
The
room
itself.
The
artwork
is
okay,
a
little
confronting
and
awkward,
a
bit
odd
that
it
hasn't
been
changed
in
4
years,
and
therefore,
that
makes
the
room
somewhat
feel
dated.
It
does
match
the
photos
online,
but
only
barely.
Beside
the
peephole
and
the
feature
wall,
not
very
much
actually
ties
the
room
together
and
stops
it
being
somewhat
generic.
Unique
soft
furnishings
could
help
this.
The
rest
of
the
hotel
seems
to
look
okay,
although
the
bamboo
mat
in
the
hallway,
and
the
push
to
operate
lift
is
strange.
The
stairway
being
not
very
well
lit
is
also
a
major
safety
concern,
particularly
with
the
dark
walls.
Something
to
offset
this
would
be
more
art,
or
adding
strip
lighting
to
the
stairs.
Overall,
management
may
have
failed
the
staff
(in
particular
housekeeping),
which
flows
all
the
way
down
to
the
customer.
Given
all
of
the
above
issues,
now's
your
chance
to
redeem
yourself.
Pick
up
your
game,
and
we'll
say
HI..
again.
