The description on the website is false and misleading. To describe the room allocated to me as a Balinese style villa is deceptive to say the least. I reserved a Superior Room with a queen bed for two nights. The room was not available on check in. I was given a room with single beds, a large window fully view from outside in a communal garden. The hallway and doors were noisy. Bathroom noises from adjacent rooms ( showers and coughing and sneezing kept me awake past 1.00 am. The room was grubby. The bed and bathroom dangerous sand the staff unhelpful. A flicking light in the garden outside the bedroom window was annoying. The breakfast is a joke. I left after one night ( having paid for two)and an accident with an unmarked entry door damaged my neck, knee lip and chipped a tooth. Still no apology! Then they asked me for this feedback!! A complete joke! Book and stay at your own peril. There is a pool however I have had sponge baths in bigger sinks!

I made a booking on agoda for 24-25 Dec 2023 however i overlooked on the date and booked for 17-18 Dec 2023 instead. Called the hotel immediately to change the date but they are not able to change it for me. I do encourage you to train your service staff to be more empathetic and less defensive. At least hear me out and not replying me: no, even if you speak to my manager also not able to change. I am just asking for help or alternative to solve my issue. Even if i cant change it im fine with it but the way your staff handled the situation is not professional. So i made my way to the hotel and proceeded to check in. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is near Somerset MRT. There is a small swimmimg pool near the entrance of the hotel. Sigh… check in wasnt that smooth as the receptionist insist on seeing my original IC even after i provided my digital IC via Singpass. In the end she allowed it and upgraded my room to a garden room. Breakfast was included but not serve in the hotel, you will need to walk around 5 minute over to their partnered coffeeshop - Killiney Kopitam. I didnt go because the selection of the food was really limited. The ambience was good and quiet but the cleanliness was a let down. Please refer to my photos. There were hair all over the bed and floor, leaking aircon, dirty blanket, and the bedsheet had holes. If you book for their garden room please be aware of flying insects such as mosquitoes and fruit flies. I love open concept feel so it didnt really bother me. They are using Grohe bath accessories etc sink, rainshower but should upgrade their water heater as the hot water stop after few minutes. How lucky am i ~ I couldnt go back into my room at 9 am after taking water from the water cooler as the door is faulty. Their staff had to fix my door for me to get in. The layout of the hotel is really confusing and i had trouble going back to the hotel lobby. I saw other guests and they were lost too. Overall, for the price paid i will not recommend this hotel for staycation. Id rather pay slightly more for M Social, Wanderlust or Studio M. Thank you.

Find this place on the Lonely Planet guidebook. This is a nice little place where we are staying very cool, set up with a out door concept shower, and a small court yard to hang out. Nice pool site and pool. We have the smaller room they do have bigger room with a little price different. Down the street full of food stalks and beer garden Thai, Korean, Indian, Hong Kong Style, French and Coffee shop. Lloyd's included free breakfast partner with one of the coffee shop down the street, breakfast including a cup of coffee, kaya toast or french toast and 2 soft boiled eggs, but that is other foods you can add on and pay the difference it is still very cheap and good. On the same street, that is also massage spas, 7- Eleven, grocery stores, and TMC clinic. The staff here at Lloyd's are very friendly and helpful. It is alsi a very convenient location. Closed to Orchard and Somerset MRT underneath the Orchard gateway, and also bus station. The mattress is very comfortable. We have already made a reservation for our second segment of our trip. Our room is perfect for us since we are constantly on the go just shower and sleep.

Room : Dirty. Hair from previous guest on WC door. Door sticker and shower curtain had mildew. Very poor noise insulation. Location : okay. Close enough to shops. Concept : nice concept v it needs fine tuning and better maintenance.

I stayed 2 nights in Jan 2024. This is truly a minimalist concept (not “full service” in what you’d normally see at other properties). That being said, the rooms, while small, are well appointed. You have everything you need to have a clean and comfortable stay. The staff is helpful. The bathroom is connected but technically in an “outdoor space”. This isn’t uncommon in Asian set ups, but just a note on that. There are no privacy concerns with this set up. Location wise, there are several nearby restaurants and a grocery store just around the corner. There is a common water/coffee/vending machine area the back open 24 hours and guests can refill reusable bottles for water there. Overall, great value for money in the area and I’d stay here again.

Staff were very friendly, location was good enough for our stay. Rooms were spacious compared to other options in Singapore. However the open bathroom design caused bad condensation and humidity in our room, we had water dripping from the ceiling! To explain to readers - our bathroom was open/connected to the outdoors, separated by shower curtain. We luckily didn't have any issues with bugs but I imagine this might happen too.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Got a free upgrade to the Deluxe Sky Room despite booking the Sky Room originally. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the minimalistic vibes that the rooms offered. Room came with a mini fridge (which was really small) and hairdryer, everything you needed. Had no issues with room condensation whatsoever with the outdoor showering, in fact it's an interesting experience. There was no bugs at all in the toilet. Would definitely recommend if you are into villas getaways vibes instead of the usual fancy hotels. Location around was good - it was a quiet neighborhood with several eateries, groceries stores & spas nearby. Only downside was it is a 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT without any shelter - in the event of a heavy rain a cab is probably needed. Rooms are also not soundproof, could hear guests walking past my door in early mornings along the walkway but generally very quiet and conducive environment.

I found this property via Monocle Magazine, which in various cities internationally has always given excellent guidance on lodging/food/retail. It did not disappoint- it is in walking distance of the MRT Somerset station, Orchard rd and Clarke Quay. The property stands out amongst the all the other places I looked at, in its more modern aesthetic. The service is top-notch, and the staff is professional and friendly.

Convenient location. A little noise from the general hallway and condensation at the door leading to the bathroom, due to the open air bathroom. Overall a nice chilled atmosphere.

Great city stay for fans of minimalistic/ industrial design and interior- we truly enjoyed it here! Only downer is the breakfast- hope the management finds another solution in the future, the partner restaurant is a poor experience tbh

I recently stayed at Lloyd Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The hospitality fell short of expectations, with bad attitude staff and a lack of attentiveness to guest needs. The overall atmosphere seemed indifferent, leaving me disappointed with the level of service provided. I hope improvements can be made to enhance the overall guest experience at Lloyd Inn.
