Decently convenient location. Recently renovated rooms including hi tech upgrades to use your phone app with in room lighting and aircon controls which is probably the best thing. Nice cold air-conditioning. The fridge isn't very cold though. The hotel has a long stay deal over 30 days which is quite competitive for long stay but rooms are only cleaned once a week and they refuse to give more than 2 towels at a time. Service takes a while for anything, they generally seem understaffed and overall under trained. Several seemed overworked and not in a particularly friendly disposition. Incorrect and inconsistent information was often given. The pool is decent, although I've never seen the pool bar staffed, the "gym" is tiny and almost unusable. The restaurant would say it was full when it was empty. I would avoid breakfast at all costs but the high tea and Sunday brunch are okay. Double check your hotel and checkout bills especially closely if you booked with any promos to ensure they are applied.

Rooms are clean and tidy. Also a very peaceful area in town, with delightful choices of food and drinks. Staff are also very courteous and diligentā€¦ Will surely come back to this hotel!

So, Weā€™ve booked the room 6 months in advance with a specific request for a king size bed. When we checked in, the receptionist told us the request cannot be fulfilled unless weā€™re willing to take a downgrade from what weā€™ve already paid for. The bathroom floor is not up to standard in any sort of way as the toilet bowl is next to the shower in which makes it very slippery and dangerous to the guests. The housekeepers did a rather poor job at cleaning the room as they didnā€™t even bother to empty our bins or provide us our complimentary water . The experience has definitely been less than pleasant for a 5 stars hotel.

It is cheaper than a five-star hotel. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious. However, the facilities were old and the bathroom sink was messy. The swimming pool and gym are too small. The traffic is very good. You can get to City Hall Station and Clarky Station on foot in 5-10 minutes, and you can jog to Marina Bay.

Solo traveler, stayed in weekends, and got a room with no view(literally at all). Checking in with the lady staff was not a pleasant experience. I could feel the irritation when I ask some questionsšŸ˜‚ thatā€™s not we expect from 5 star hotel. I expected a charm of the old hotel, but there wasnā€™t - at least what I have experience staying there. Lobby guys were good, i would say šŸ˜… Location wise, it was okay, but if you are not intend to walk all spots(it is seriously hot to walk around), you should reconsider.

Cozy and Convenient Stay at Grand Park City Hall Hotel I recently stayed at the Grand Park City Hall Hotel and had an overall positive experience, which led me to rate it 4.7/5. The hotel exuded a great and cozy vibe, with its newly renovated aesthetic that added to its charm. One of the notable advantages of this hotel is its proximity to Funan mall, the MRT, and other establishments. The convenient location makes it easy to explore the surrounding area and access various amenities. The hotel's buffet breakfast was delightful, offering a great selection of dishes to start the day. However, it's worth noting that there is an additional charge if you don't include the breakfast when booking via the hotel's website or Klook. The price difference can be significant compared to purchasing it together with the room. It's advisable to plan accordingly to avoid unexpected charges. The pool and gym area of the hotel were highlights of my stay. They provided a glimpse of the city while offering a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The availability of a bathtub in selected room types, along with glass dividers, added a touch of luxury to the accommodations. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Grand Park City Hall Hotel. However, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of personalized offers, such as greeting cards or welcome drinks. These small gestures can enhance the overall guest experience, especially considering the price range of the hotel. It would be a nice addition to make guests feel more valued and appreciated. In conclusion, Grand Park City Hall Hotel offers a cozy and convenient stay with its appealing ambiance, proximity to amenities, and enjoyable pool and gym facilities. While some aspects could be improved, the overall experience was positive, leading me to rate it 4.7/5.

Iā€™ve stayed here twice already for my work trips in Singapore each for 5 nights/6days. The major plus for me is the location and comfortable rooms. Itā€™s near 2 malls, metro, and most tourist spots in SG. Great value for money. Breakfast is good with nice variety. Staff is helpful as always. Definitely my hotel choice when in SG.

Entrance to hotel and reception was alright. Swift check in process and we quickly got into our room. The room was not to our satisfaction. We called the counter to request to have the room checked / clean / or change of room, whichever is good. Ashikin was extremely quick, she upgraded us to another room on a higher floor. Here comes the excellent service, she met us at our lift landing floor to pass us the new room card and apologized. We did not expect her to take that extra mile. All is good in upgraded room. All amenities and furniture are in good condition. Some hiccups but we move on.

The room is clean. The staff were very friendly and polite. The only issue arose when my boyfriend and I checked out. The staff insisted he must inspect the room first. After he checked the room, the staff collected 200 Thai baht, claiming it was for a towel cleaning fee. This fee was never mentioned during check-in, and I wonder if cleaning fees are not included in our hotel fee. We only used the mat and one small towel because we brought our own shower tower. My boyfriend paid for it as we were rushing to the airport. Kindly ask the staff about this towel cleaning fee if you plan to book this hotel.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. 3 to 3.5 stars at best. Conveniently located but very light on for facilities & amenities. Very little information provided about Singapore and facilities and services available. The hotel's lounge and bar were definitely not up to 5 star standard. The western style breakfasts provided were not very good. The staff were friendly.

I absolutely loved my stay here in their club room. Very clean and comfortable room. Definitely recommend staying here and choose their club rooms which will give you access to their club lounge. The chef Judy was very friendly, always coming out to chat and get feedback from guests. All the service staff at the club lounge also have excellent hospitality service. Location is in Central area with walking distance to public transport and numerous tourist attractions. I will definitely return again.

Warm welcome and very clean place. I love good smell from aroma at the lobby. Front officers was so nice and friendly. Concierge guys are very helpful. But so confuse to tap key card when use the elevator. Room is wide and good interior. Bathroom is awesome when you use blind up & down. I love this hotel and will back again.

Great hotel, Attentive staff. Great pool. The breakfast buffet has a large selection of European and Asian fare. Room service everyday, the bed was large and comfortable. one small nick pick is the in room fridge could be a lot colder. Great location by malls, trains and buses. Short walk to Chinatown and Boat Quay where a lot of waterfront bars and eateries are located. I think the hotel has fixed any of the previous bad reviews. As I was worried when I booked the hotel, THEN read the reviews. But you won't be disappointed staying here. 5* for sure.

Booked it because itā€™s close to the city center and I have a very early business meeting in that area. Also, saw that it was five star so did not doubt the quality of stay. However, I was greeted by the chaos of the neighborhood (people drinking on the street side). The location is also not directly accessible by train. You had to cross two blocks and walk by many drunken people. At the hotel, I was met by very indifferent staffs. I thought I could bother less about the attitude if I could just go to my room and pass out. However, I was wrong. At the room, the water pressure for the shower was so low I could barely rinse the shampoo off my hair. To top it off, the room also smelled funky. I couldnā€™t tolerate and finally asked for a room change, but both the water pressure and smell did not improve much. Overall, the experience was bad. It does not deserve the five star title as weā€™ll as the price associated with such title. Iā€™ve stayed at other locations with the same price and star rating and enjoyed much better experience on every level. Would not recommend to anyone.

The hotel rooms are excellent. However the walls are very thin, you can hear other guests very easily. Room service can take very long to respond. I tried to call for in room dining at 9.30 am but nobody picked up (called 5 times). The gym is very very small, all the equipment you need but its crammed into such a tiny space. Hotel is in a superb location that is located across the road from funnan mall (mid to high end indie mall), neighbouring Burmese community has stores and restaurants adjacent to the hotel.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Please do not let them fool you with ā€žThe Best Rate Guaranteeā€, because it is a lie. They are asking you to contact them first once you find a better rate, but once you do, they take a few days to respond, and then do not match the price. I have wasted alot of time and energy on them and do not recommend the hotel at all. There are much better options which are offering a much better experience for a lower price.

Stayed here for a daycation before our flight at 8 pm. It was a decent size room. Check in was fast. But when we come into the room, there were no water. Had to call housekeeping 3 times before water were delivered to us. Other than that, all were good. Location is excellent in my opinion

Bit disappointed with this Hotel, not quite up to the level it should be and im not sure the staff are as experienced or commercial as they should be. Had lots of pain booking, was met with a half handed offer of a discounted breakfast but worst of all was the wake up call that I didn't get. Yes,I personally went to reception at around 9pm to arrange a wake up call for 6.30 am the next morning. This was confirmed by both front counter staff yet the call never came and had I not woken up through broken sleeping could have easily missed my flight out of Singapore as I had a taxi arranged from 7.30 am departure from the hotel. Upon check out I was advised by another youthful staff member that there was no record of the wake up call registered in the system and that his colleague must have forgotten to do it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel based on the service vs the rate,my experience and expectations are better that what I experienced in this instance.

Loved our stay here. We had a delayed Qantas flight and the airline paid for a night here with meals included. Couldn't be happier with the staff, food and room. The location is great as well as it's in the heart of the city.

It would have been an awful start if it wasnā€™t for the more senior guy at the check-in counter (his name starts w S). The two younger people at the counter were unwelcoming and have loads to learn. Thank you to the guy in charge who was personable and a good conversationalist. Things turned awry when we went to the gym. The water dispenser wasnā€™t working and there was no phone in the gym for me to call for assistance. Waved at the cameras to signal for help. Used my mobile to call the main reception telling them the water dispenser was not working and to please bring 2 bottles of water up as I was very dehydrated. The guy on the phone argued water dispenser was working because he checked it in the morning (I went to the gym at abt 5pm) An elder guy came up, without the water!!! When I specifically told him to bring the water. And he spent a good 7minutes checking on the water dispenser machine. Honest to God, if I was in a super dire state, I could have fainted! If the water dispenser is not working, why canā€™t he Walkie somebody up to bring the water? Plus, I have already pre-empt him to bring up water so he doesnā€™t have to go back and forth. He left without saying anything; left me in a questionable state. I had to call the hotline again. Another dude picked up and he said thereā€™s a water dispenser there. I KNOW THERES A BLOODY DISPENSER THERE. Why doesnā€™t anyone believe the customer?? Thank God he came up within 5minutes with water before I passed out. Please seek to understand and have a sense of urgency. This was a big failure. And how can the gym not have an emergency access? What if something really happened to a hotel guest? Is this gym SCDF approved? I did receive an apology note later that evening for the shortcomings; and I appreciate that. However, it wasnā€™t worth the pain and anxiety I had to go thru to just have water at the gym though. Pool area infested with mosquitos. Attached are the bitten marks. I was a buffet for the mosquitoes. Room size is decent. Donā€™t quite agree with the full transparent glass wall of the bathroom w the cheap torn pvc cover. Other than that, the room is done nicely w quality. Pillows are horrendous. Theyā€™re not your normal sized pillows. None of ā€˜em feather pillows you get in a hotel. Had terrible neck ache in the morning. Not a big fan of one control panel at the side of the bed. Itā€™s slow; not user friendly. Took forever for me to adjust the room temperature and to figure out the lights. This hotel has so much potential as itā€™s located at such a prime area but quality of staff is in desperate need to be improved.

The hotel is decent value - room size (king) and breakfast was very good. The service is very good - you often get an ecstatic member of staff - front desk (Alysha) breakfast waiters or lobby staff (Ismail and Adam, as well as whomever was working Friday night 13 October 2023 were all fantastic).

I checked in at 9pm. The concierge gave the details to get to the reception. There was no lineup at the reception. Got to my room and it was quite large. There were several issues that I noticed. The clock was off by 10 mins (too fast). Tried to fix it myself but had no success. The blinds for the shower had some grey spots at the bottom. Not sure if those were water stains or mould spores. The door handle for the toilet was not cleaned. I could clearly see fingerprint marks. Another major issue was that there was only one rack in the entire bathroom, making it difficult to hang both your shower towel and facewash towel. This was the same issue with the coat rack. It's behind doors which looks aesthetically pleasing but difficult to dry anything. Ally, the housekeeping staff, was very helpful and cleaned the room nicely. The towels were replaced promptly daily but so were any unused shampoo and body wash, which I considered it as wasteful. I find the room lighting system over-complicated. Everything from ceiling fan to lights are controlled by a touchscreen. A switch would have been much simpler and quicker to turn off.

The concierge service was top of the top. They went out and bought necessary goods and delivered us those at our desired place. Fast, easy and uncomplicated. We received, thanks to Nazir and Joseph, a wonderful service, which we much much appreciated. Thank you :)

Very good experience, big rooms and nice service. The only problem I found is that control of everything in the room is from a small screen, and you cannot even control the temperature of the air condition, just select low/med/high, which is fine, but insufficient. Other than that, everything is clean and tidy. Did not tried breakfast or other amenities like the pool, so cannot comment on that

Great hotel in the heart of Singapore, well connected and very clean. We stayed in the Crystal Club rooms with access to the Crystal Club Lounge for breakfast, afternoon tea with snacks and from 6 to 8 alcoholic drinks and a good selection of things to eat. The treatment from the Crystal Club staff was second to none. They will make sure your stay is prefect. Buffet breakfast with cooked to order eggs and soups. This was a great stay and we will be back soon! A special thanks to the Crystal Club staff Gladys, Yasmin, Nani, Mayshell and Kripa for doing such an amazing job and making our stay at the Grand Park City Hall amazing! Don't miss out and you have to try the Crystal Club....you won't be disappointed! Thanks very much guy's!

Love the rooms, great, modern and warm design and quiet. If you prefer harder mattresses like me then youā€™ll like this one too. TV does not offer streaming platforms, just a few regular channels. Somehow I was able to watch YouTube thanks to some workaround though. The mall Funan is right across the street for food, Clarke Quay is like a 10-15 min walk away just like Boat Quay and downtown. All in all you can literally walk everywhere. Location is amazing. The only thing, which is a little bit of a bummer is the street. Just a heads-up: On Sundays a lot of people do not work and it gets very crowded and there is not such a pleasant smell in this area when you go a few meters away from the hotel. On Sunday nights some people also start drinking and sitting down on the sidewalk but oh well, itā€™s their free day. Obviously not the hotelā€™s fault though. I have stayed in this hotel 3 times for like 5 to 6 weeks each due to business trips and never got disappointed. Last time they were so kind an gave a suite as a free upgrade, probably because I stayed there quite often. All in all I can recommend this hotel to literally to everyone. In my opinion you will not be disappointed.

Best value for money solution when in Singapore for business. Those 3/4 "core" factors you consider when you choose a hotel are at 5-star level here. The location is just perfect, the atmosphere is fresh and elegant at the same time, hygien is impeccable and the staff is always helpful and nice. Also, the building and rooms have been just renovated and you can see that very easily. There are small things on which they can easily improve (technology in the lifts and rooms could be more user-friendly) but honestly i can't imagine to go anywhere else when in Singapore. PS: a plus is the Fort Cunning Park very close, when you can enjoy a quick walk in your spare time or a Shakespeare in the Park show (amazing!)

Super convenient and enjoyable stay at the Grand Park City Hall hotel in Singapore. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was especially gracious and attentive. We appreciated the hospitality of the restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast. Special recognition goes to Nisha who accommodated our evening draft beer needs and answered our questions. The morning staff was so nice Iā€™m sorry I didnā€™t get everyonesā€™ names but Rico and others were very nice to talk to when the breakfast rush subsided. Indulging in the delicious food at a moderately-stocked breakfast buffet is highly recommended.

Great location and for the most part nice rooms but the stupid control system and the stupid fan makes the room either hot and uncomfortable or with a massive amount of wind blowing around. You cannot change the temperature on the ac. Only low medium high blower. To switch off the lights you need to go to a control panel on the wall Whoever made the decisions to setup the rooms like this have wasted an overwise good hotel. I will not return because if it.

We stayed here for the first part of our honeymoon and could not be happier with our choice! Jaye from the reservations department helped us book our stay with ease. The bellboys were eager, jovial and were very attentive throughout our stay. The check-in process with Allysha was very smooth and friendly which got us off to a great start. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade as well as cake, rose petals, and beautifully folded swan towels. The room itself was very spacious, clean, and had a luxurious ambience. The shower had a rain showerhead and doubled as a sauna which was very cool. The amenities were of good quality and was generously restocked daily. Cooling was very strong which is needed in humid Singapore. We also made use of the pool which was easy to access and empty in the early mornings. Location wise, it was very close to many malls and the MRT, thus getting around was very easy. It is also a stone throw away from many popular tourist destinations. We absolutely loved staying here and plan to return when we come back to Singapore.

Room and hotel are lovely and the location is great. Service is absolutely horrible. They charge you an extreme amount of money for a deposit and instead of just charging your card at the end of your stay for any incidentals like every other hotel in the world, they harass you every time you set back into the hotel to make a payment. Mind you, this is after providing your credit card several times. The reception desk does not work well with catering and then are aggressively in visitors faces. Incredibly disappointing l.

Our flight was delayed leaving New Zealand, so missed our connecting flight to Phuket. Air New Zealand booked us into the Grand Park City Hall. We were really impressed with the hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There were 3 of us travelling, and as it was a last minute booking, they didnā€™t have many rooms available, so I got put up in the kids themed room. Itā€™s a room adjoining another room for the adults. I was really impressed. It suited me for the night, but if anyone is travelling with children, the room is really cool.

Great location, pretty central to most things. Most of the major attractions to visit are about a 15-20 walk from this hotel. Breakfast is quite expensive, we opted out of this and ate locally. The rooms are very pretty and clean although they are slightly on the smaller side but decent for the price

This place is amazing! Staffs are extremely kind especially their Concierge staff. Breakfast are also good with a lot of food choices and, OH!, their coffee also good!!!! The room is quiet and cozy with coffee and tea included. Definitely worth the price!

Great hotel and fairly new. Nothing major to complain about our experience. One minor issue was the app not working for the elevator and our room key so we needed to get a physical card. Other than that it was a clean and enjoyable 4 night stay!

Came here during F1GP time, excellent location, close to the MRT, very easy to get to from the airport (save yourself a taxi). Very nice high end feel inside with modern furnishings. Included breakfast was as pretty good and wide ranging. My biggest concern was that the bathroom and toilet in the room was behind glass walls, but there are electronic blinds that come down, phew!! Highly recommended and a decent/moderate price compared to some other higher end alternatives in the area.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The staff are friendly, extremely competent and efficient. The rooms are very nice and newly remodeled. The swimming pool is quite nice as well. The exercise room is fairly small though and packed with equipment.

I am not sure how it gets the 5 star rating....service is not very good!! you keep calling the front desk/operator no one is there to answer your call!! Aircon quality is poor, breakfast service and options could be compared to a 3 star hotel with very basic offering. Its surely a good hotel for 3 star rating but far away to get a 5 star rating.

Excellent location. The rooms are modern and clean. The services are great! I want to give a special shoutout to the restaurant/breakfast team. Didn't get the name of the server and the chef but they were very helpful after knowing I am on a plant-based diet. The server cared enough to put in my special request and the chef made a vegan pancake that was super delicious! Made my day!

Modern and clean rooms. Excellent location as well. I really enjoyed my stay. Compared to another hotel I stayed at recently (5 star hotel thatā€™s old and needs refurbishing), the rooms were clean and the huge bathtub is a plus point. Really like the handsoap provided by the hotel too. The staff are very attentive, calling us to double check if we require anything when they noticed we didnā€™t need our room made. Great experience overall, would like to come back again.

It's a really friendly place. As soon as I go inside, I see friendly staff and clean accommodations. I have a lot of memories here. I asked the female staff several times every night for what I needed, but she helped me do things that I couldn't do, and I microwaved the rice I brought from Korea. I am very grateful to the female staff member who helped me with this. The vegetarian worker who lent me the microwave oven is only now writing a review. A lot has happened so I am only now writing a review. I am finally keeping my promise to the vegetarian staff member. There are friends who helped me there. Thank you for your kind help during my stay. I will either make more money or save up a lot and go again! I will always pray for you to be healthy and have only good things happen to you!
