Spent four nights at Hôtel Medina in early June, absolutely great value, very central location right next to the Grand Mosque and souks inside the medina. My room was spotlessly clean, simply furnished and with a small balcony overlooking the open and covered souks. The hotel rate includes breakfast; typically baguette, a (hard) boiled egg, processed cheese, jam, a french pastry, fresh fruit and yoghurt... and plenty of coffee! Staff speak and understand English so if you don't have French/Arabic you'll manage. Everything you would want to see in Sousse is within walking distance, as well as the UNESCO sites, all the local amenities including a range of restaurants, the Voyagers train station north to Tunis (or connecting South to Sfax) and the newer metro train station to Monastir. The port is five minutes walk away; best to go early for a chance to see the daily catch being hauled ashore and if you're interested in the beach then this is only a little further. A good-sized and well-stocked supermarket is also a short walk away towards the beach. Definitely on my list for a return visit.

Surpringly nice! Exceeded my expectations. The place is really beautiful, not a luxurious one but clean with nice bedrooms. Sweet breakfast and coffee included. I really recommend this hotel, for this price quality is guaranteed

Medium average hotel. You get what you pay. Close to the bastion. Excellent French baguettes in Tunis! Masters of the patisserie.

Absolutely recommended!!! · The hotel is in the heart of Sousse. Probably, it has the best location among all other hotels in the city. The building is like a part of the medina (old town with many interesting shops), close to the train station, close to grand mosque from 9th century A.D, close to seaside that can be incredibly alive and crowded during evenings after sunset. Rooms are big and breakfast is rich enough and satisfying. They accept cash in Euro if you d like On the other hand, there wasnt slipper and hair dryer. At the first day of our stay, there wasnt WiFi connection because of heavy rain(that's what we were told by front desk)

Scam, no parking available, construction inside the hotel (noise and dust everywhere), rude receptionist, you need to park your car on the street and walk for 15 min
