Just like a little slice of Italy! Great americano, will be back to try it all

We live around the corner and just discovered this gem. The food is delicious and the treats are dangerous. We brought a cannoli kit camping and everything stayed fresh and was fantastic. There was the perfect amount of filling to pipe and chocolate chips to garnish! We also brought some brownies which were also delicious. And, we are picking up a variety box for our neighbour today as a thank you - we just keep going back! Like I said, it’s a neighbourhood gem.

I've been once for dine in and also bought some cannoli for takeout. The atmosphere inside the cafe didn't feel cozy but everything was quite clean. The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly The cannolis were very good. I will definitely buy again! Also to add the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible as there are steps at the front entrance.

This cafe was the highlight of my weekend! The family running it are just the sweetest, most friendly, fabulous people! We happen to be there for their 1 year anniversary and were able to join them for this fabulous Cannoli cake - sooo delish! The coffee flight was fantastic with a macchiato, cappuccino, good brew and a fantastic iced butter pecan latte! Atmosphere - fantastic! Coffee - to die for! I totally recommend it!

This quaint café is a must visit! The customer service was stellar - we arrived right at opening time & the owner let us know that she couldn't open right at 11 today because something urgent came up, but she told us she would open in 30 mins and urged us to come back. No worries, we went to run an errand and came back and she was so glad to see us return. We ordered a coffee flight (which was so fun) and she gave us two free mini cannolis to go with it, as a thank you for understanding the later opening time. Their cannolis are so tasty, we ended up getting a full box of assorted desserts to go. We also each got a panini, veal parmesan & their steak sandwich. Both were fantastic. Freshly made to order and the bread tastes like it was freshly made too. The café was also bustling by 12pm & it seemed like a lot of people were regulars. I would 100% come back to this place, the staff were lovely & the food was 10/10.

Great little cafe, with an authentic Italian feel. Seating was plenty both indoors and out, great atmosphere. Service was excellent, fast and the server very friendly and accommodating. The coffee products were fresh and very tasty. Tried the cannolis, made fresh that day, highly recommended. If your looking to relax and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or treat, this is the place to go.

I found this wonderful place on Google maps. I'm so glad I did. I bought a dozen canollis and 2 mini canolli pies. Oh my, these are some of the finest dessert treats I've ever tasted! My wife and kids approve! I will be a repeat customer.

Been here a few times now. Had a sandwich, Pizza and of course the Cannoli Pie. Tomorrow is a 90th Bday party for my father so I picked up a Gelato Cake. Looks amazing. Carrie and her staff out did themselves with this cake. Also got the Pie. Showed pictures to my family before tommorow, now I am concerned I won't have enough.

We had the coffee flight, cannolis, gelato, and a few other pastries that were all delicious. Staff was friendly and apologetic for the wait (took about 20 mins for the drinks to be ready, it was very busy), but we were in no rush! Staff was so friendly and sweet. Made our first time visiting a great one. Will be back for sure.

Everything is so fresh and so delicious. The gelato takes me back to my trip to Italy. Looking forward to trying some savory dishes next.

I was so excited about this place, and they didn't disappoint. We had a coffee flight, and I loved it. Especially the cappuccino. The best I've ever had. I also had a mini cannolli which was delicious. Also, the person serving us was super friendly and out going. This is a nice little place to stop for amazing coffee.

Went there for the coffee flights, shared between two people and it was just enough. I like sweet coffee so it was good for me, but if you dont like sweet coffee definitely ask for the iced coffee without the syrup. Overall really nice place :)

Loved Italian Cafe! Stopped in for a coffee flight with a friend and it was such a lovely experience. Staff was wonderful and the coffee was delicious! Definitely will be back!!

Amazing coffee flights. Owner is extremely nice. Community feel. The owner gave us fresh cookies because we had to wait for new almond milk! Very thoughtful.

It was our first time here and the food, coffee and service were all amazing! We ordered a chicken parm panini, meatball panini and some mocha lattes. Everything was delicious! :)

Great spot in St. Catharines...a hidden gem really. Everything tastes great. Carrie goes to great lengths to create an authentic menu. Perfect for grabbing a coffee, something sweet, or even an entire meal. Check it out, you won't regret it.

Really fantastic food. We often get cannoli and paninis. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. The interiors are also very classy and relaxing for a sit down, and the proprietor is very friendly. Highly recommended if you're ever in the area.

I have been meaning to visit the cafe since it came under ownership and finally did today. The cappuccino and cannoli were delicious and the customer service was top notch. Thank you Carrie for a great first experience, looking forward to returning and trying out everything else on the menu. Highly recommend!

I went here today to get some work done and have a coffee and sandwich. I asked for a spot near an outlet, and a table right next to the window was suggested. Although it was very cold outside, I was extremely comfortable next to the window as I was sitting next to a heater. It was absolutely incredible. The wifi works great. The latte I had was delicious and the veal sandwich was to die for. 10/10 would recommend. I will definitely be returning.

Great experience at this cafe!! The owner is so lovely, & so welcoming! Great food, great coffee. No complaints. Super cute place to do work, lots of indoor space and the option of sitting in the outdoor patio.

Visited the Italian Cafe for the first time today with my brother and a friend. We all enjoyed our experience! Great service with a warm smile. We ordered a latte, cafe Americano and a capuccino. The coffees were fantastic! Also, best cannoli I have ever had!!! My brother ordered a tart which he said was awesome but I was too busy oohing and aahing over my cannoli to ask what kind it was, lol! Will definitely be visiting again and again!

OMG I think I died and went to heaven. Chicken parm panini the best sandwich I have had in forever, chicken was so tender and the sauce was amazing. Followed up by canolli cupcake that was to die for. And bonus the owner is so nice and down to earth.

Love this quaint place. Looks just like the cafe’s in Italy and the smell of espresso coffee was amazing!! We ordered a specialty cake for a special bday party and it was absolutely delicious!! The owner/staff make you feel welcome from the minute you enter. Will definitely be going back for lunch etc

Facer Street is such a unique and fabulous neighbourhood. We Had the pleasure of attending the handmade market hosted by the Italian Cafe today. The cafe is perfectly timeless and really captures the food culture and the sense of Italy. The coffee was fantastic as were the authentic Italian treats. There was a real sense of community and support for the local crafters and the cafe was a surprisingly perfect venue for the event. The staff were just fabulous. We are already looking forward to going back for a coffee flight and another canolli!

Today is a Handmade Market day, tiny room but beautiful items. Sample cannoli cake was a surprise treat! I'm not an expert by any means on coffees and foods, but I do know what I like! Worth a try! Nov 27/22.

We ordered half a dozen cannolis the first day and then we went back the next day to get a dozen more. They’re so delicious! Iced coffee is strong and very addicting! We’ll be back soon!

Horrible service. I believe we had the owner that served us today. We were asking questions about the coffee flights to make small changes (not liking a certain flavour, asking to sub it out for another) We were the ONLY table in the place.... and the owner begins to explain that she usually doesn't make changes for customers because it's too much work... which is fair if you're busy.. but she begins to explain why and has to add "you need to understand that I manage the entire kitchen, if I had other tables this would not be happening" Like, just say no? My friend couldn't even get a word in, and couldn't even finish asking her questions without getting cut off and made to feel like we were the biggest burden. It was so uncomfortable. I also brought in a Starbucks cup, just finishing the last bit of my coffee before ordering a 20 dollar flight from her... and she comes over to the table and the FIRST thing she said was "can I throw out your coffee cup, I'm a coffee shop so ya" I said okay, even though there was still a bit left and I'm still ordering from you? What a way to treat your customers. Coffee was mediocre at best. We will never come back. A huge waste of 80 dollars. Such a shame how customer service has gone out the window these days. She wouldn't have a business if it weren't for the customers, and we've all grown up working in the industry so we're well aware how customers should be treated. I really wanted to like the place, but I will never recommend it to anyone just because of the service.
