Omg this place is beautiful. This is a great place for an easy hike. The paths are well maintained and are quite extensive so you won’t be stuck to taking the same walk every time you go. The childrens play area isn’t what it used to be but there’s still fun to be had there. I love heading to the pond to see all the fish and it's no busy usually Park was beautiful both in the fall and early winter. The routes are very manageable and aren’t too step- though some of them are more of a challenge than others. In the winter there weren’t as many people so a lot of space to yourself But their are ticks... So you need to be prepared for that. I usually get ticks in the summer.

This park is actually 5 stars for me, but I put 2 stars to get somebody’s attention. Twice now I’ve ran into the same man in the same spot hiding in the woods with his dog. It’s only strange to me because this little area he comes out of is a trail that leads to nowhere. It’s by the water and up a little hill but stops completely after a few steps. The first encounter I felt someone was behind me so I kept looking behind me. What do you know he comes walking out pretending to be on a phone call. Second time was around 8:30 pm sunset. Gave me the creeps and hopefully is not a bad man looking for a vulnerable woman.

Such a fun place to spend a couple of hours with kids, or go for a peaceful walk/run. It’s stroller-friendly with nice trails, an educational area for kids, a pond with lots of geese and fish, and a wildflower meadow.

It was beautiful both in the fall and early winter. The routes are very manageable and aren’t too step- though some of them are more of a challenge than others. In the winter there weren’t as many people so a lot of space to yourself. Provides a scenic view with which you can make as many memories as possible. You can bring dogs along and they seem to enjoy the walk a lot.

Beautiful place to go for a walk. There are numerous trails of varying heights to walk, cycle or run on. I can't wait to go back in the summer when the landscape is greener and to explore more paths.

There are a few well hidden homeless encampments at the West end of the Park but it is remarkably clean. I was very displeased to see no fishing signs near the pond. A sign warning of toxic fish and catch and release only would have been more appropriate. The pond is teaming with catfish and is a great place for children to learn angling as long as they catch and release. The park also needs a lot more trees along the trails. Savannah is a very important habitat also but this is a long wide open park for a hot summer day. They have some cool sculpture and items around the children's playground. Overall a pleasant place to visit but still nowhere near a natural area.

A relaxing walk with beautiful scenery. I spent the afternoon taking photos and walking Rylie. There is a very scenic place to sit and rest as well. It is a pleasure to see how well kept it is. Love this place!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Park and I must say, it's an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped foot in the park, I was enchanted by the lush greenery, tranquil ponds, and diverse wildlife that call this place home. The trails are well-maintained and offer a perfect blend of easy strolls and more challenging hikes, catering to visitors of all fitness levels. Whether you're an avid birdwatcher, a photography enthusiast, or simply seeking a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this park has something for everyone. One of the highlights for me was the thoughtful integration of educational signs along the trails, providing insights into the local flora, fauna, and the park's history. It's clear that the park's management is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty while also fostering an understanding of the environment. Moreover, the park's commitment to sustainability and conservation is truly commendable. The efforts to restore the quarry to its natural state are evident, and it's heartwarming to see how the community has rallied around this project. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat, a place to connect with nature, or an educational experience for the whole family, Glenridge Quarry Naturalization Park is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return and explore more of its hidden treasures. Kudos to everyone involved in making this park a true haven for nature enthusiasts!

A nice place for a walk, but needs some wildflowers or something to beautify the place a little more. The top of the hill offers one of the best sunset views in the city, even better than sunset beach on clear evenings. There's a pond worth checking out and some hiking trails in the forest to explore as well.

Really nice trail. Long trail, wide path with rocks as base. Little kids discovery area. You can make the hike as long it as short as you desire. Not really any trees for shades. Nice look out point. limited parking. Lots of ticks there so stay on the path and away from tall grass. Noticed about a dozen on both my dogs combined. It would be worth 5 Stars if it had more trees and NO TICKS!!!

An awesome place to visit! Great for pictures, but it's sad to see how much damage has been done to the kids science area. Would be great to see it with a fresh coat of paint and the informational signs fixed.

Beautiful space for a walk, fine gravel trails, gentle rolling hills, awesome deck to look out over pond, playground with theme for kids, and did I mention the Naturalization areas? I walked on a rainy fall day, which ended up being more misty. So glad I explored there with a friend...plan to return and explore another trail segment. Fall colours are beginning...

Absolutely stunning there! And definitely a great place to walk your fur babies, picnic, photoshoot or even a nice scroll! It’s also very clean! Ps. Watch out for ticks as it is that time of the year.

This site used to be a landfill, you can see gas release pipes throughout the park but that doesn't detract from it's beauty! It also has one of the best views in all of Niagara from the top of it's hill.

So many amazing trails so you can customize the walk to be as short or long as you want. Stroller and dog friendly. Boardwalk area looking out onto a pond. Beautiful scenery.

Wide open fields, big duck pond, access to the Bruce Trail along the top of the escarpment. Only downside is the highway noise.

  • 5/5 Julie R. 3 years ago on Google
Very well maintained park, other than the signs explaining what things are... they're all faded. But other than that it is a beautiful area and perfect for walks, runs, biking and walking the dog 👌🏻

Good walking trails that loop back around to one another. No shelter and exposed to the elements, so bring appropriate gear.

  • 5/5 Kelley E. 3 years ago on Google
Easy scenic walking. Location is in town with great trails. A map of route options is conveniently located at the start, and parking is available. Have an hour or so? It's worth the visit

I enjoyed the trails and the fresh air. Would have never guessed underneath the grass is a mound of garbage. Glad we could restore the appeal to this so called "dump". Fun times in the kits.

    Nice stone walkways, circle route.

  • 5/5 Bronwyn H. 3 years ago on Google
Great place for a stroll or hike. Perfect for young families with strollers, wide flat trails and activity area for children to play...also a pond with a board walk. Trails also go up and over large manmade hills of dirt for a more challenging workout. At the far end of the park the trail connects with the bruce trail and can be hiked through the woods towards Brock University...something for everyone. Perfect place for some activity followed by a coffee or food from the near by fast food restaurants. Enjoy.

A fun area to hike around. You feel as though you are miles from the city. Though parking was hard to find and everywhere we tried seemed to have tow away signs.
