We have had the BEST experience at Penner Jewellers. Their care and attention to detail was outstanding. Brenda and Cathy are so kind and accommodating, and the ring is stunning. We would highly recommend them any day!

I recently returned to Penner Jewellers to buy a chain for my wife. I had purchased a chain at the store about a year ago and it had broken. While discussing this with Brenda and Cathy they both said that it should not have broken and they said they were going to reach out to the manufacturer and indicate it was defective. Not only did they replace the chain at no charge they also replaced it with a stronger more expensive one. Given it was a year old I certainly did not expect any credit for the chain let alone a replacement with something better. I really appreciate the great service and I know I will be back. Thanks again.

Brenda and Cathy were absolutely fantastic to work with through the entire process. The level of expertise, professionalism and overall friendliness made this process seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. The took the time and consideration to ask me questions and offer recommendations that ultimately created the perfect design. My fiance and I had the privilege of finding this place on a whim and trusted the Google reviews. Brenda and Penner jewelers deserves 6 stars if I could give it. We only had very professional and patient service throughout the whole process of finding my wedding band. She took me through all the options, and was very knowledgeable about all the materials. She was great at communicating and kept me up to date with every step of the process in the creation of my ring. When the time came to engrave the ring my fiance was very happy with the service and kindness she recieved. Brenda was very good about my last minute engraving on my wife's wedding band (purchased elsewhere) and made sure it was done within a week. I cannot recommend Penner enough and I know whoever reads these reviews should trust in them because it's such a great store!

Came to Penner Fine Jewellers back in June in search of a custom engagement ring. Brenda and the team at Penners knocked it out of the park. The service was out of this world and I had my custom engagement ring in hand in only two weeks! My fiancé was over the moon with it when I proposed to her. Wonderful Jewelry & Fantastic service! The customer service from the owner Brenda and Kathy are incredible. They are so down to earth and friendly! They spent hours with us helping us decide on the perfect rings and everything was made exactly as we wanted in plenty of time and at a reasonable price. I'd never want to shop at a cookie cutter mall store when I could get this kind of service and get a ring that was exactly what I wanted. No high pressure, no false sales and excellent quality no matter what your budget. Brenda even stayed late so we could pick up our rings the day they came in since we were so excited. We will definitely be back again!

PENNER IS MY NEW FAV JEWELLER!! Here's my story...I purchased a Simon G ring as my wedding band in 2016 in Burlington. I posted on FB asking for recommendations on a jeweller in St. Catharines to take my engagement ring and wedding band to be cleaned. Everyone said Vandendools (except one person who said don't go there as they had a bad experience - I should have listened). So I took my rings last summer to Vandendools and my engagement ring was fine but they said a diamond fell out in the cleaning machine. They sent it away to have it repaired. They called to tell me that it couldn't be repaired and that it was "a cheaply made ring"...they could have worded it a little more gracefully. They gave me the ring back with the loose diamond in a little bag. I contact Simon G and I won't even get into that debacle. I didn't know what to do so I just didn't wear my wedding band since last summer. A few weeks ago I decide to pop into Penner's to get my engagement ring cleaned (they're located close to where I live, which is why I went there). I thought I'd ask them if they work with/carry Simon G products. They do, or they used to. I explained my situation and they asked if I could bring the ring in so they could see it. It's an intricate (swirl design) ring and they were shocked that Vandendools put the ring in their cleaning machine instead of cleaning in a more gentle way. I guess the machine agitates the ring while it's being cleaned. They were also puzzled as to why Vandendools couldn't repair it. They took my ring and loose diamond and had it repaired by adding a little claw or something. It cost $100 and now I have my wedding band back and will forever be loyal to them and grateful.

Had a great experience with Penner! Cathy and Brenda were pleasant to deal with from the moment I walked in to the moment I picked up the ring. Very honest with their guidance and made sure I knew the reasoning behind what they were explaining. Also were patient throughout the experience given it was a custom ring and took a couple weeks to find the right stone. I’d recommend in a heartbeat and will be back myself without a doubt. I just want to start off by saying this is my first time ever writing a review on anything, but with the experience that I had here at Penner was absolutely amazing that I had to make sure everyone knew about this place. I was in the market to purchase an engagement ring, and so I went to a few different stores and didn’t get any good vibes until I got to Penner’s. The moment I walked into I knew this was going to be the place, Brenda and Cathy greeted me as soon as I walked in and were absolutely such amazing, honest, helpful and not pushy what so ever. I showed Brenda some ideas my fiancé had in mind, and let me tell you she came through beyond my imagination. The experience and knowledge that she has is absolutely amazing. They explained to me things that other jewellers never mentioned and spent time to teach me things about diamonds to make sure that I would be happy with the Diamond I chose. I cannot express my gratitude to Cathy and Brenda enough!! My finacé and I are quite young so we knew nothing about jewelry and they were so helpful to explain all of the terminology, how to care for our wedding bands including the pearls in my engagement ring. They we so honest throughout the entire process about what would look good - even if it meant we spent less money there which i was shocked by. Needless to say our rings turned out better than expected! We will definitely be returning for all of our jewelry needs. They took a ring from the 1950s and placed my mothers engagement diamond in it, and then made a custom wedding band to fit around the pearls on the bottom using the gold from my mothers band because they knew it was important to me! For my fiancé they made his wedding band with stones that were passed down to us as well - would highly recommend!

After extensive research on different jewellers in the area, I decided to go with Penner to have them help me find an engagement ring and I could not be more thrilled with the service and expertise I received. Brenda and Cathy are both an absolute joy to work with. Brenda was very patient and accommodating, especially considering I was very picky about some of the characteristics I wanted with the diamond. I had done a great deal of research on my own, but with Brenda's expertise I felt very confident in my eventual purchase and she went above and beyond to accommodate my rather strict parameters.
