    I am a frequent customer at this location. Their employees are constantly working extremely hard. Some customers get mad at lack of service. I know for a fact this is due to a lack of staffing and often a lack of real training. It is criminal that Home Depot doesn't pay their hard working employees a living wage. Home Depot is an extremely profitable company and I know for a fact that this store is in the top 10 earners in Canada. It is literally shameful. I guess it's nice the shareholders are getting their dividends...

    Typically you will find everything relating to home improvement without fail, so no surprise there. It’s only the prices that hold me back from a five star rating. I know the reasons cost of living blah blah blah but I think the volume this store does maybe they could send a little savings along to the overextended consumer once in a while. That been said they do have a price match and beat on appliances . Happy shopping peeps 💋

    My husband and I often find ourselves at this Home Depot. As I have more time to run errands I am usually there by myself. I get great help from the workers as I usually feel in over my head. I had a young relative who was hired here this summer and I was truly astounded by how little they pay. This family member come home dusty and exhausted every night and there is still no way they could afford to live on their own. It breaks my heart. I wish I had a more ethical option for my shopping. I would still like to applaud all the workers the have given me help over the years. If I can remember their names I will come back and edit this review.

    I came in to buy Milwaukee products for my husband for Christmas/ birthday. Customer service was absolutely amazing! I couldn't ask for better, Janice and Laura were so incredibly helpful. These 2 ladies were so friendly, thank you ladies! Great experience from home depot st catharines.

    Just like to share a quick review of how Home Depot rectified a situation about a complaint and review about the customer service at the customer pickup desk. I felt mistreated by an employee on a pickup order so I left a review out of frustration. I have dealt with this employee a few times since then and she has been nothing but fantastic and easy to deal with. Thanks for listening and making a change. I shop here almost daily so it's nice to see things dealt with wether it's management or just the employee who stepped up.

    Staff is always friendly and helpful. If they don't have the or know the answer they will find out for you. Always have lots of products on hand to cover your needs and if they don't can have it sent quickly if it's available elsewhere.

    Just a quick few words about Home Depot. I had an order of over $800 of siding. The company I had doing the job was expected to be finished around 12 or 12:30. I received a phone call from the boss of the company telling me that all the siding in the one box was the wrong color. So out of the goodness of his heart he went and bought a box of the proper color. The job was finished Thursday, certainly not on scheduled, but no cost to me, they left at 5pm. Thank you again Roofing Guaranteed. Home Depot did make up for whomever put that order together ( who needs to be reprimanded ) But I will say, thank you Stephanie. You probably kept a customer.     Our fridge died unexpectedly of course. I was very excited to find a fridge quickly at home Depot which said on the website in stock. We got in our truck, got to home Depot and waited 40 minutes for someone to help us as we were told no one works in appliances. After waiting apparently home Depot only has show fridges. The first available delivery date was in one month. I was able to find a fridge from another appliance store and headed home and hooked up within the next hour. In our opinion they should at least have one of each fridge available for puchase as not everyone can buy appliances in advance.

    I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Home Depot recently, and I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with their customer service. My roommates and I visited the store to make a purchase, and to our shock, they charged my roommate's card a whopping $1000. However, things quickly went downhill from there. The transaction glitched out, leaving us in a baffling situation where the money was taken, but the transaction itself was declined. We immediately reached out to Home Depot's customer service, hoping for a swift resolution to this issue. To our dismay, we were met with sheer incompetence and an utter lack of willingness to assist us. For three long weeks, we tirelessly tried to get this matter resolved, but Home Depot seemed to have no interest in rectifying their mistake. Their customer service representatives were unhelpful and unsympathetic, passing the blame onto others without taking any responsibility for their own errors. We were left feeling frustrated and disheartened. To make matters worse, when we finally managed to escalate the situation to the store manager, we were met with an appalling display of attitude and poor customer service. The store manager's dismissive and condescending behavior only added insult to injury, leaving us questioning whether Home Depot truly values its customers at all. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company of Home Depot's stature to treat its customers in such a manner. A glitch in their system should not be an excuse to hold our hard-earned money hostage for weeks without any resolution or compensation. We expected better from Home Depot, but they failed us on every front. I urge anyone reading this review to exercise caution when dealing with Home Depot. Their lack of accountability, poor customer service, and disrespectful attitude towards customers are deeply concerning. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will think twice before entrusting their money and time to a company that clearly disregards the well-being and satisfaction of its customers. Home Depot, you have lost a once-loyal customer, and I will not hesitate to spread the word about the abysmal treatment I received.

    I'll never buy an appliance from here again, what a nightmare. The first washer I got leaked all over my floor the first time I tried using it. I had to fight just to get it replaced instead of repaired by the manufacturer. Then the second washer didn't even show up, the delivery guys were only instructed to take away the first one. Turns out the customer service person had only ordered a pick up, not a replacement. After that was sorted out then the washer finally came another two weeks later. So it had been four weeks since I ordered it. I was told to call about some kind of compensation once the washer was finally here, and I was offered a whopping $60 credit. Had to go to the customer service at the store just to get 10% back.

    The gentleman who helped us from the paint department was absolutely wonderful. He had a lot of good information to help us along with our project. We are redoing our kitchen and he genuinely seemed to care about how we were going about it and if we were doing things properly and gave us many wonderful tips. I wish I would have got his name.

    First I would like to say that I’m always going to home depot for any building supplies but ever since COVID it has changed a lot of the employees are not around as much and feels like if you want help you have to really look for people that work there. Overall it is a nice store prices sometimes are abit high but when they have deals on it is normally better then other stores always a good thing if looking for tools is sometimes go online even amazon had better deals almost 80 dollars less.

    Unfortunately I'm really disappointed with this location the way they service especially on the lamber drywall side I been come here getting allot of material like drywall doors some heavyweight materials eveytime i sked for help they try ingoer the help I believe home depot is one of the policy is to help the customer with heavy materials load it inside their car give the customer hand example today I bought 22 sheet of drywall when ask the cashier if she can call someone for help she said she gonna call when I pull up my vac by the door she just stood watch me loading Instead of trying to get some help I be this location Manger r one of the mangers name Matt one of the requested from the Mangers of store is please hair some active and helpful workers it not only they don't help load materials even we go ask most of them in store ask them about materials where it located they give you wrong direction r say im not I don't know

    I needed to make a purchase and I walked in your front door, as I approached your pro desk to ask a question Billie engaged me almost instantly. She was delightful and very helpful. She not only helped me with my inquiry and entire transaction. She also gave me her name and said when I return to pick up my purchase that if I had any trouble I could contact her. This was exceptional service and Billie did it with a great attitude. Unfortunately it is rare to find service like this and Billie clearly exceeded my expectations. Thanks for your assistance Billie, great job!!!!!

    Clueless about customer service. Visited the Customer Service desk to pick up an online order. Should be quick in and out. Clerk looked at me and went to help people waiting in returns line. Customers just standing around waiting for service.

    Recently my husband and I were at Home Depot, and stopped by the appliance department. We were looking at washers and dryers, and Ron approached us to give us a hand. What a novel experience, to not have to go look for someone to help us. Ron gave us enough information to make a well informed decision, made sure our items were in stock, and made the sales transaction very smooth. We were extremely happy with the service we received from Ron.

    Instore experience ordering a fridge was great! Home Depot uses a 3rd party delivering company WIDE RANGE TRANSPORTATION. Upon delivery, my hardwood floors received extensive damage. The delivery was December 14th and I am still dealing with this mess! We ordered a fridge and received a terrible outcome! Now I have to sand and stain my floor because of multiple scratches and 9ft scratches going into my living room from my kitchen. We will never purchase appliances again. I strongly urge Home Depot to switch delivering companies.

    Michael on the Pro Desk is awesome! Just finished a DIY deck expansion that included PT delivered from the store and Trex composite delivered from the vendor. The whole process from beginning to end, when I returned a bit of excess material was smooth and easy. Shout out to Michael on the Pro Desk who helped me every step of the way! This is how it’s supposed to work.

    Alright location. thankfully we noticed we were charged for 100 2x4s rather than just 10 and got a refund. Also, got back of concrete for fence posts. The majority of the bags were just big chunks of concrete rather than the powder. **EDIT** Very satisfied with The Home Depot and their response to my issue. A very quick response was given and a good solution to my frustrations. Have updated my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

    My experiences at home depot have always been great! The staff are friendly and helpful. Today was the first time I had a run in with an employee that was less than friendly and less than helpful. As I was asking where to find something she started walking away and yelled aisle 7 or 8. Thanks for the help....This definitely isn't the norm for this location and I was not impressed. Luckily I found another employee that was more than happy to help, and it was aisle 12 btw

    I bought a lawnmower online during covid and it kept breaking down. I had to wait until the province opened to be able to return the item. Recently was assaulted and suffer from a concussion my sister did the return for me. But she forgot she got a store credit instead of a refund and bought some new lawn care items. Well with my concussion I wasn't able to drive to the store so last week we spoke to a nice guy who attempted to help us with getting the amount refunded without us having to pay for a cab to go back. He created a ticket for manager Sheena to help us. I really appreciate how they were understanding to my situation and helped me out. I got the refund of the store credit. I missed the deadline to do a survey so I'm leaving this review. Really appreciate the help guys.

She saw we were looking at blinds and stopped what she was doing just to come over and tell us about her experience with the ones we were looking at.     The floor staff tried to be helpful but even they couldn't locate some of the items I was looking for. They need to improve their system of finding things. I ended up buying a product that was twice the price because the clerk and I couldn't locate the 40 items that the website says were in store. Then at the checkout, the clerk was not very friendly about checking for a reduced price on another item .

    Today we had very bad experience with customer service and they gave wrong information about the promotion. Customer service people at store told us to contact credit card service on that card number. We called credit card customer service and they told , it’s store promotion and you need to speak to store. We were waiting for more than 1 hour in store and do not know how to handle the customer. We had feelings that avoiding customers to get their rights and promotions. This is not the right way to treat their customers. Very bad.

    Was headed to Lowes but I found what I needed $90 cheaper at Home Depot. I didn't even have to price match. Any and all Reno or construction needs can be achieved here. This place literally has everything. No complaints from this store or location. The staff seem helpful and knowledgeable when asked.

    Of all the home Depots in Niagara this one is best. The store has the best layout ( ie the one I'm used to). And the staff is experienced and helpful. The store itself is also well maintained which is an added bonus. Only negative is turning left out of the parking lot during peek hours.

    Had to order some custom cut wood for a deck build. Really didn't have a clue what I needed, but the women at the pro desk was absolutely amazing. She provided me with a ton of information, and even took me to the isles to show me the correct screws and level I'd need. Very enjoyable experience.

    September 20th 2022 St Catherine’s store 4:30pm. I honestly do not write reviews but I feel a need to share my experience. My husband and I went to purchase backslash. When we got to the flooring department an employee approached us and told us to move to the other side and said we were blocking the way. She had a very harsh tone in her voice. We were completely off to one side and other customers could pass by. I explained that we need a bunch of the tile that were in front of us and we need to load them in the cart. She just flew off the handle and said she is on the health and safety committee, and said she was calling a manager over. I was at no point rude to her. NEVER in my life have I been treated so disrespectfully.

I needed hardware for doors for our renovation and was treated with excellent service and professionalism via lady name, Lisa and hardware. She was absolutely excellent.     I know nothing about tools and hardware, so I got help from the friendly staff in-person but the products they recommended for me were not compatible. I called the hardware department to get help in finding which drill would be compatible with the drill bits I needed for my product, but each time my call was picked up and I immediately got hung up on. I hope no one else has had this experience.

    I called before heading to the store. The girl said they have lots. Get there about 25 mins later and they have nothing. Then to try and look for soemthing else that is advertise in the flyer and can't find it anymore. Ask for help , they kept pointing me in the wrong direction. Nobody would show me the right product after showing them a picture on my phone. The carts are all outside to the side. I didnt even notice them with my son. It was raining the guy told me to go outside and get one that was outside in the rain all day. Overall experience TERRIBLE !! WILL NOT RETURN

    1st time in the Niagara Falls Home Depot. Was disappointed that they had no 4inch trim. However. The staff was very helpful. One staff member saw me looking up and down an Isle and asked if they could be of any help. Later I asked a clerk if they had turnbuckles for straightening out doors and she made every effort possible to help me find them. Out of stock. 5 stars for the staff for sure. 3 stars for not having parts I was looking for. But then this is 2020 and the Covid 19 nightmare so back to 5 stars for being open and having helpful staff.

    Very friendly staff, but the company itself doesn't care about alienating customers here and there, because they do such a large volume in sales. I checked for two products I wanted online: both were supposed to be available. (The combined value of the items was about $530.00). Neither item was in stock when I arrived at the store. (An employee who did his best to help confirmed this.) Another store a 35 minute drive away possibly had the products. Could they ship them from that store to this one? No. They couldn't do that. I checked online again when I got home: sure enough, both products were still listed as being available. Another inconvenienced client? Oh well. Ho hum. Thank you for shopping at Home Depot.
