On
a
grey
and
cold
Wednesday
evening
we
bestowed
to
Staines
and
struggled
to
find
a
restaurant
on
the
high
street.
Nothing
was
really
appealing
to
us
as
we
wanted
to
try
something
new.
After
aimlessly
walking
around
looking
at
different
menus
on
different
windows
we
noticed
a
convert
pub.
So
we
ventured
towards
it
total
amazement
and
found
it
was
a
Turkish
restaurant.
On
first
appearance
on
the
outside
it
can
easily
be
missed
as
we
had
never
noticed
it
for
the
last
4
years
it’s
been
open.
Nevertheless,
the
inside
looks
great
with
its
rustic
look.
Tables
are
evenly
spaced,
it’s
not
like
you
sit
so
close
that
you’re
involved
in
others
conversation.
Even
on
a
grey
Wednesday
evening
every
other
table
had
a
few
people
there
and
it
was
pleasant
atmosphere.
We
walked
to
the
front
desk
and
immediately
were
attended
to.
A
female
approached
us
and
seated
us
quickly
even
tho
we
had
no
booking.
They
also
cater
to
gluten
free
which
is
a
massive
point
for
myself.
We
were
left
for
around
15-20
minutes
which
was
ample
amount
of
time
to
find
out
our
drinks,
starters
and
mains.
Server
came
over
to
us
took
our
order
-
garlic
prawns
-
lamb
on
humous.
Mains
-
a
mixed
grill
for
two
but
the
kofta
was
put
to
the
side
as
this
wasn’t
gluten
free.
Starters
-
garlic
prawns
more
tomato’
based
than
garlic
but
still
wasn’t
bad.
We
enjoyed
it
Lamb
and
humous
-
this
was
actually
the
best
for
me
for
the
night.
Really
good.
Mains
-
the
mixed
grill
-
so
when
it
arrived
on
our
table
the
server
tried
to
explain
to
us
that
the
kofta
is
on
a
separate
plate
but
it
is
gluten
free.
She
explained
that
it’s
normally
gluten
free
but
she
doesn’t
know
why
it
isn’t
now.
This
was
very
confusing
and
could
be
very
dangerous
but
I
didn’t
go
near
it.
The
mixed
grill
otherwise
was
Luke
warm
when
it
came
to
us
and
5
minutes
became
cold.
The
taste
was
great,
there
was
no
issues
around
the
taste
of
any
of
the
meats.
What
let
them
down
was
the
temperature
of
the
food.
We
complained
about
the
temperature
of
the
food
to
a
male
server
to
went
straight
to
the
chef
and
showed
his
dissatisfaction
which
was
loud
which
everyone
heard.
This
was
a
little
unsettling
but
at
the
same
point
the
server
was
actually
sticking
up
for
his
customers
which
was
very
refreshing.
The
server
returned
to
us
and
before
we
could
even
say
that
we
are
happy
to
pay
but
just
wanted
raise
it
to
their
attention
the
server
said
that
they
will
make
a
new
lamb
cutlet
grill
dish.
They
was
very
generous
and
shows
that
the
restaurant
really
care
about
their
customers.
We
paid
for
our
food
and
left.
Overall
Service
is
three.
Good
but
at
times
questionable
Food
is
three.
Taste
really
good
but
arrived
cold
Atmosphere
is
four.
Great
place
for
family
dinner
Price
is
reasonable.
We
paid
£66
for
two.
