Update March 2023: Slice Above no longer makes chicken wings! What a disappointment. They had the BEST WINGS too. Sorry guys gotta drop a star for the wings. BUT ya still make a great pie!!! First time trying Slice Above, what a fantastic menu and the pies are insanely delicious! Talk about the right amount of toppings and several types of crust styles to choose from. Different sauces available for your taste buds! We tried the Jimmy Hoffa & bianco next up mild wings (let me tell you I have waited 30yrs for true buffalo wings)! This is worth the drive from Parma for out of this world taste! Give them a try! They have pies, salads, wings, plus more! Definitely my new favorite pizza joint and highly recommended.

People, this is a Public Service Announcement. So listen the hell up. It is hard to get me, and this place got me. Got me good. A Slice Above is literally the best pizza on the planet. I mean change your life kinda' pizza. I mean improve the actual quality of your life....for the better...forever. Bravo. Level Up MAXX!

Their buffalo chicken pizza is delicious. Definitely better if you ask for a side of buffalo sauce so you can pour more on the pizza. I also love how late they are open! The one thing I will say is skip the wings, they look good and the sauce is good. . .but they are really fatty! They have more fat than meat.

I got a couple of take and bake pizzas from here and they were amazing! Everything was fresh and it cooked up perfectly! Highly recommend this place! Thank you for a great pizza!

Best Pizza in Ohio hands down. The honey bee extra bacon is my favorite. Once you try it, you going to love it. It's money well spent.

My only complaint isn't much of one other then I wish I could see the sign better from the road. The customer service was great and friendly. The prices are good also. The quality makes the food prices well worth it. The sauce is good not to sweet but just right! However to my Thanksgiving people you MUST try the "Gobbler" get extra gravy on it but do indeed get it... Turkey stuffing celery cheese and gravy an AMAZING creation... Thank you for the food I'll be a returning customer!

Always great experience here. Unique pizza's. Tasty. Friendly staff. Fast service. I'm not from the area, but any time I'm passing by I have to stop and have a bite at this place

I was I n the area to see some friends and decided to order a pizza. We decided to get the Thanksgiving pizza. My friends who live in the area told me this place was known for some very very good specialty pizzas. The Thanksgiving day pizza was wonderful very good. I can see myself driving up from Akron Ohio to get another one or to try some of their other specialty or regular pizzas in the future.

I travel a whole lot and have been to almost every state. i have tried a lot of pizza places. This one, by far, is in my top 5 pizza joints. Nit to mention they have the bar next door so feel free to gwt a beer while your waiting for your order.

I moved to Ohio in June and we had A Slice Above my first night here. The food is *phenomenal* and I've had it MANY times since. This is my go to pizza place and it's within walking distance of my apartment. 100/10. The "Death By Pep" is so good 🍕🍕🍕

Been coming here for years. Always consistent and love the sweet sauce they have. Also very nice to my son who always has to get a piece of candy when we pick up the pizza. Love this place.

Always great pizza. The sausage they use is big chunks and the sauce not too sweet. I get the garlic butter to dip my NY style crust into. So yummy!!

This is the go-to place for sheets of pizza when having a large grouping of teens at the house. Everyone loves it and it is very affordable for what you get. Every kid always asks where did you get this pizza so they can tell their parents. I just personally wish they had their Cajun dry rub wings from years past... they were delicious.

I moved to Texas about 8 years ago and haven't been able to find a decent pizza to save my life. Knowing I had a trip back to Ohio I made plans to stop at A Slice Above. We ordered a Nacho Pizza, Veggie Patch and Lonestar and they were as good as I remembered. If you're looking for a specialty pizza, look no further!

I've been to A Slice Above the pizza is really good. Today I wanted something different on my pizza. I ordered the Jimmy Hoffa it was really good. I thought it was going to be to much meat with four different meats and it wasn't. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been. Thank you guys pizza was 👍great.

When I say they have the best pizza around, THEY HAVE THE BEST PIZZA AROUND!!! We used to get Marcos or other pizza a couple times a month but when we tried a slice above, that all changed. My husband wants them once a week now. Great pizza, great atmosphere and great people!

I got the .eat head pizza, great great. Exactly the type of pizza place that will have you coming back to try something else. Delicious. Update- I went back and got the Jimmy Hoffa. My tongue drilled a hole through the roof of my mouth and smacked my brain. Top 3 pizzas I ever had in my entire pizza filled life. Delicious doesn't do it justice

We took pizza home so can’t say much about atmosphere. Pizza is awesome. I love their. Where’s the beef pizza the most of all with the crispy bacon absolutely delicious.

Seriously the best pizza around. Everything is good and the special pizzas are always awesome. They really load up the pizza with toppings too.

I never heard of A Slice Above pizza until I had it at a party. It was delicious. I've been going there ever since. I love A Slice above's pizza on their good days. Unfortunately, it's not consistent with having quality pizza at every visit. I understand, it can't be perfect every time. I eat out almost everyday. I was ordering a large pizza, at least 3-4 times a month at A Slice Above for months. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. On too many, different occasions, the pizza is under cooked or the cheese isn't melted before it's taken out of the oven, etc. The manager has excellent customer service & has given me a credit. I'm not looking for free food. I just want a good pizza when I order, instead of wondering how it's going to taste this time.

Been going here for years. Especially when I used to drink next door through the connecting door. Their pizza has ups (super great dough) and downs (big Mac pizza). But they do not skimp on toppings, that's for sure. I have 20 box ends saved, and I bet they are worthless now because of the fake pandemic.

Wow. I'm not the only one. So many dissatisfied customers. Look at Alex William's review about grease. The grease was the least of my worry. I found a maggot in my pizza. STILL no refund. I took a picture and called the health department, because the owner Don doesn't care enough to call anyone back. Notice how he doesn't take the time to respond to any of the many complaints or refund anyone's money when they get home with their box of grease? You can't be spineless when you run a business. The guy just doesn't care.

This is probably the best pizza in the area. We like that everyone can get their own individual pizza and have exactly what they want. I hope they bring the wings back soon to the menu.

10/10 perfect balance of sauce to cheese to topping ratio. We got the Big Q and it was absolutely fantastic the toppings were so fresh and the perfect amount. Cooked just right the bbq sauce was so delicious. Wow very impressed with first visit! Will be back to try more.

I keep hearing the best pizzas are the ones in local not in chain of pizza stores, My friend recommended this and it's a gem in Strongsville. I had Cajun chicken pizza here, it's a gourmet pizza and my taste buds were exploding because of its exquisite taste. Never miss it!!!

Overall a pretty decent pizza. Sauce has a good flavor and the toppings are real. Price is fair and the size is good. One of the better pizza places in my opinion.

Good pizza. Had been meaning to try for a while and was pleasantly surprised. Zesty sauce. Not a fan of non pizza pizzas but as long as the thin crust pepperoni is good that's all that matters

A Slice Above was a overall average pizza to us. We had order a the Big Mac pizza and a normal pizza pie. Both were just ok overall. Nothing to special to us. Staff was nice. Pizza shop itself could use a little update.

We were in the area for a sightseeing trip and a got a chance to try the slice above pizza not once but a couple of times. Their original slice above crust is the best of the lot. Not too thick or thin but just perfect. Try it out if you are in the area and you ewill not be disappointed. We also tried the New York style crust but since we are from near NY we were not really sold on it. But the other 2 crusts are phenomenal.
