Loved everything about this place. It has real nice vibe to enjoy your date night and all the food and drink were perfect. Among dishes we ordered, mussels in white wine garlic sauce with a side toast was exceptional.

We had dinner here at the bar. Best to make reservations, but if you arrive early you might be able to get a spot at the bar like we did and it's fun to watch the drinks being made. Great wait staff and the menu is awesome. Highly recommend getting lots of small plates to share rather than individual courses/appetizers. The bar is excellent as well with a really nice selection of cocktails and professional bartender able to make requests. The menu is Spanish/Italian for the most part and those who enjoy seafood will benefit most by eating here, but there's something for everyone. We plan to go back as often as possible. Don't sleep on the tinned items. Shout out to Manny our bartender.

En Rama may be some of the most inspired food in all of Washington state. Across the US I've found a few restaurants that seem rather unassuming but create dishes that are essentially art. They aren't trying to hard, or following any trends. They simply have a chef who is putting their art on a plate in a rather unassuming and at a fair price. I'm not for posh, or faulty attempts at trends. Quality food above all else and this place nails it. The service seems maybe a little rushed and the temperature was a little hot when seated near the kitchen but it was well worth it. The drinks are also top notch. While I only got two drinks and a couple food items - I'm hoping on my next visit everything else on the menu is as good as those items. I don't love reviewing after one visit but En Rama deserves it!

11/10 We lucked out and got bar seating around 6pm. The space itself is unassuming from the outside, tucked inside of a much larger building. Inside was a little dream… small, intimate, warm, and alive with full tables. We started with the most delicious fresh bread and butter, olives, cockles, and octopus. The champagne and Negroni were straight fiya 🔥 For entrees we tried the brown butter gnocchi with rabbit and the oxtail Philly cheesesteak - both incredible *They do not allow for switching out proteins Desert was the most delicious bread pudding with a boozy affogato. I definitely drooled. The crew is sincerely lovely and everyone seems to help everyone out. Loved dinner and will be back. Oh and I LOVE Brian!!!! BRYNN**

We loved this place! It was super chill and the staff was very kind. It's definitely a welcoming place too bad we couldn't order the food and I still give it five stars! A very chic spot in downtown tocoma definitely will be visiting again!

First time visitors for a late Valentines dinner. Atmosphere was cute and since we knew little to nothing about the restaurant prior to arriving, we were pleasantly surprised. Service was outstanding, food was as good (if not better) than described, but the true winner of the evening were the cocktails - amazing blends and refreshing flavors. Was very impressed overall and will definitely return again!

This place is pretty incredible (minus one issue): the outdoor seating is a brilliant interplay of protected and open air and the food (plenty of vegan options) is to die for. The pickled cucumber and the house-made focaccia was terrific. The service is attentive and fun. The only big issue (for us, anyway) was that we didn't finish our meal and asked what type of container they use for "to go": we were told it was compostable paper. We minimize plastic like crazy, so got the container. Not only was it not paper but it wasn't compostable. It was just plastic clamshell. Made by "Earth Choice," the company does offer compostable items, but this is not one of them, and recycling's pretty much a myth around here. So, we'd appreciate knowing what we're getting next time because we would have skipped the side of plastic.

Though a little hard to find the entrance, En Rama was a delightful afternoon happy hour turned early dinner experience. Located inside the Tacoma Court House, En Rama has an incredible cocktail program and a Spanish/Italian leaning menu. We arrived shortly after opening and sat on the patio. We ordered the house bread which turned out to be fresh focaccia and ordered cocktails from the happier hour menu. Starting with the boquerones fritos with our drinks, we eventually ordered the patatas bravas, the octopus in olive oil, and the paccheri pasta for our main meal. I had never had that shape of pasta before and was extremely convenient to order as there are options for a half or full size. I would definitely recommend En Rama for a variety of occasions; date night, happy hour, casual drinks, meal with friends.

Went here with a group of friends we ended up getting and splitting the four main food options. Some things were better than others but each person had a different favorite. The cocktails were light pours but tasty. The atmosphere was incredible. We were outside under the string lights. Service was fantastic. Such a great experience!

The most fantastic from scratch bar and restaurant. The 50/50 martini and the lavender are my favorite drinks currently. The burger is fantastic and the buns are made in house (so are the burger patties), and the Bolognese is the perfect meal if you want something filling and comforting.

Easily the best restaurant in Tacoma. Cocktails are top tier, incredible house made pastas with classic yet modern ingredients and flavors, service is impeccable and it’s not even expensive considering the quality. We spent $95 total for two cocktails, a pasta, and mussels (including a generous tip) - the same would be at least twice the price in Seattle or Portland. My new go-to for a high end meal.

YA’LL GO HERE. You will thank me later!! The food was amazing, the type of food that is delicious and homey but also elevated. My partner and I came here because of the Q13 news story about them and it exceeded our expectations. If you love yourself you’ll treat yourself to En Ramas food and dining experience!

The Tacoma dining scene is definitely on the rise. Cozy dining room/bar with a small, yet flavorful menu of small bites and entrees. I highly recommend En Rama’s take on clam chowder. Reservations are a must due to the small space.

We enjoyed the drinks and the food. The risotto had a nice nutty flavor that was a hit for our family. The charcuterie board was light on meat selections however it had nice choices of cheeses. The house drink specials were delicious and I would suggest them during happy hour. The staff was kind and accommodating. The seating outside was perfect for our larger group. Keep it up.👍

I had dinner here 2/22/22 with 2 friends. En Rama surpassed my expectations and is my new favorite restaurant in Tacoma. It is that good! The cocktails, especially the Manhattan and two dots and a dash were perfect. Our server was very enthusiastic and she had great bar and dinner recommendations. We shared the mussels, burger, mac and cheese, and collard green pesto. Everything was excellent. Thank you En Rama!!

Amazing date night spot. The mussels were the best we’ve EVER had. The polenta was incredible. Very well trained service staff was welcoming and had great recommendations. Wish we lived in Tacoma!

Nice place for a date night meal serving specialty cocktails and unique fusion dishes. Everything was good, but nothing really blew me away.

Used to be great, but now just went down hill and quality isn’t there anymore. Last time we went the meatballs tasted super...porky. Can’t even describe it. The drinks were meh, when before they used to blow us away. The burger was extremely sad looking and very very salty, with a little salad on the side. The waitress was not friendly and acted like she didn’t really want to be there. Also beware, they now discriminate against people and you can only sit inside if you’re an elite vaccinated individual. Never mind that every recent study coming out and being talked about on national news is showing natural infection is the same or greater than the protection you’re supposed to get from the vaccine. Bad vibes all around. I would avoid this place.

I can't say enough nice things about this place. The space is wonderfully intimate, the food exquisite (I recommend the mussels and beef ragu), and the service exceptional. I came with friends, but I'm already anticipating having a solo cocktail at the bar.

Located at the corner of A St & S. 11th in downtown Tacoma, this Italian & Spanish inspired cocktail bar feels like a cozy hideaway inside the historic Courthouse Square building. En Rama serves up classic & signature cocktails, small & large plates, seafood, pasta, and great desserts! Recommendations: 1) Netflix & Chill Cocktail. Involves Jamaican Rum and a little fire! 2) The en Rama Burger was so juicy! 3) Bread Pudding for dessert!

Good (but could be a little better?) We were in no way unpleased with our meal, everything was good. Starters: I highly recommend ordering the bread and butter/oil&vinegar, one of their tins, and the braised chickpeas for starters. The bread is fresh and fluffy, and perfect for eating with the chickpeas. Drinks: (These are just personal taste notes!) Beta was just that, “beta,” because we did not particularly enjoy the smokiness paired with the briney super saline, Mezcal Penicillin was a little sweet and one of the favorites of the night, and the 50/50 Martini was also a solid drink. Entree: En Rama burgers and the cavatelli. The cavatelli was good, but definitely al dente. It was slightly more firm than I usually like my pastas, but flavors were great and you could tell the pasta was fresh. We saw another table order the bolognese and really wish we had ordered it too! The burgers are what many people see on their instagram and for good reason; they are quite decadent. That being said, I wish they could have accommodated a simple request. I REALLY APPRECIATE the honesty of our server when I asked exactly what kind of “American cheese” they use. He told me they use Kraft slices. I expressed my hesitation and asked if I could sub the cheese (they obviously have other cheeses in the restaurant) and he said they would not be able to do that. He reassured me though that the burger would be good. So we ordered the burger and it was good. Not something I would order again if I went back (unless I was in the mood for a big greasy burger that was healthier/better quality). I just wish they could have accommodated the request to swap the cheese. For me, the bun was the best part. Freshly baked, soft, a hint of sweetness, and flavorful crust.

This place is truly a gem. Everything from the ambiance to the food was spot on. The mushroom gnocchi is to die for and they have quite a few spectacular cocktails (we didn’t try all of them although we wanted to). The best part however was the service. Not only did the person at the front make us feel welcomed the gal taking care of us was really wonderful. I didn’t get her name but she has a lot of tattoos. She was knowledgeable did an amazing job of making our night feel very special. Will definitely be back.

We tried this place out a couple of weeks ago and I can’t say enough great things. First, the cocktails were fantastic. I had the golden path (our waitress described it as a warm, smoky, winter hug) and my girlfriend had the egg nog. Both were delicious. The food is also some of the best in Tacoma. The service was amazing. We will be back!
