Absolutely delicious! I tried the Jamaican wrap, Mama Africa wrap, and burger. The chili was also tasty. Ordering online was very simple and smooth. Customer service was great! Definitely will try other items! Recently tried the mac-n-yease, potato salad, quesadilla and hush puppies which were simply amazing!

No complaints! Ordering online was painless and the time between placing the order and getting the meal was less than 15 minutes. The fried seitan had a really awesome seasoning - so so flavorful with a nice crunch. The Oreo brownie and strawberry milkshakes were also excellent and really satisfied my sweet tooth. It's great to order from a restaurant and not have to ask what food is vegan because all of it is! Will stop by again if we're in the area.

Food is fire and I'm not even vegan but.......No one ever answers the phone here. Also, the to go box don't have sections so if you don't want all of your food to taste like "pot liquor"( collard green juice) ask for your greens to be plated separately. The food is very good and worth every penny if you can actually enjoy the taste of it. I will continue to support this business and am eager to see how they refine and grow their customer experience.

I ordered delivery here twice in the same week because it's just that good! I got the Jamaican Wrap, TV Dinner, the Sausage and Peppers Pizza, and the Mac and Yease. Everything was pretty good and packaged great! The collard greens and the mac and yease were especially delicious.There's such a nice variety of amazing dishes here and it's all vegan, which makes it so much better. I came here in person a couple years ago, but didn't remember much about it and decided to give it another try and I'm glad I did. Now I want to order from here every week, at least!

This is the best vegan food restaurant I know of. I'm not a vegan and I'm a huge fan of their food. Their vegan Jamaican Burger tastes as good as any cheeseburger I've ever had. The place is decorated and staffed by folks with a Rastafarian vibe, which I love. The place is laid back, so the wait times are an estimate. It's all part of the experience. I hope they open up indoor dining again!

Super sad about this place. Everything looked amazing. New to the area so we thought we would try it. But sadly when we got there they required us to order online, just so we could pick it up and only eat outside, which we wanted to anyway because today’s the nicest day so far this year. And it said online that there was Dine In. Anyway, I’m sorry but I’m a human, and I prefer human interaction, especially when trying a new place. How else are we supposed to know what’s popular, oh I know, you can read the reviews. Again where’s the human to human interaction??? You lost out on potential regulars, which when we love a place we tend to go once a week, and if a normal tab for us is say $50, that’s $200 a month for 2 people. I wonder how many more humans think like me and just walked away??? Just something to think about 🤔

The only reason I gave it a 3 stars on atmosphere is because it's a walk up window (no dining inside)where no one is (until food comes up). I am not vegan, however I absolutely love every single thing that comes out of this kitchen! All of the food is delicious. I particularly like their chili cheese fries and their hush puppies. The mac n cheese is also great.

Order 45 min to 1 hour ahead on the website. Take out, vegan only. Pure heaven. I prefer the wraps and the soups because I don't like a lot of bread, but my wife likes the burgers and I always filch some of hers. Always amazing. Their Thanksgiving spread is amazing. I forgot to freeze the ice cream, but it made legendary coffee creamer.

Whoa killer vegan food and you get SO much food with your order. It is hearty. Will definitely go back!

Had been meaning to get here for a while and now have been two weeks in a row! The food was beyond anything I could have hoped for. SO DELICIOUS! Honestly impressed and there are so many options. Also, really substantial portions. They were so nice and we liked being able to eat on the patio but hope they open up the inside again :)

Oh my god. OH MY GOD. This place is fantastic. Yes, we had to wait a bit (they are popular) but we got a text when it was ready and it was an easy pick-up. The food was amazing (I had the smoky BLT wrap, my wife had the Jamaican wrap) and we will absolutely be back. My wife’s review: very tasty, and the wraps were “well-assembled”. 😂 Overall: A+ and super delicious.

There was no seasoning. I got the fish fry . It was very crunchy which was great but the flavor was not there. The mac n yease was ok. Also needed more season. I didn't like the weird red sauce they put on the fish which subsequently got on the mac and the hush puppie 😒 probably should put that in a container on the side. The hush puppy was great will def order that again. Potato salad was a lil too loose for my taste. Online order system needs work too.

This isn't JUST a fantastic vegan restaurant, it's a fantastic restaurant hands down. The portions are made to fill you up, and the food is bar none some of the best in Tacoma, vegan or not. I'm not a vegan myself, and I keep coming back here because the food is honestly better than most of the other restaurants I've eaten at in Tacoma. So, vegan or not I'd suggest placing an online order, and bringing that order number out to the window when you pick it up. I'd suggest the BBQ burger it's my absolute favorite and the sauce is heavenly.

Hands down, this is thee most delicious vegan restaurant I know of in the Tacoma area!!! Service is quick and fabulous and the entire menu is exquisitely scrumptious!! There is no indoor seating as they serve only take-away but the free parking lot is spacious and partly shaded

SO GOOD! Best vegetarian sandwich EVER! The sandwich is HUGGGGEEE!! so be prepared to be full the whole day if you eat it all. The flavor is smoky, and the layers add such an in-depth flavor profile. Everything is in the right proportion. I would love to go and get everything on the menu.

We got the Reuben, southern comfort, and the BLT salad for a take out order here. The Reuben and mac n cheese were maybe the best respective items we’ve had from a restaurant. We usually don’t like ‘meaty’ Reuben’s but their house made seitan was delicious. The mac n cheese was very creamy too. Some of the items were a miss as they were a bit salty but overall this was was great and would go back.

Really wanted to give 5 stars but they completely forgot to put our dessert in the bag for the Doordash delivery person to take. The food that we did receive is very tasty. Just disappointed they didn't make the effort to make sure we received all the items we paid for. :( Probably a fluke.... hopefully. 🤞

Wow! Been wanting to try this place and I will be back for sure. This food is delicious and you can tell they've curated it with love. Had the Crazy Jamaican Burger- honestly was better than many "real" burgers I've had. The spicy fries carry a wonderful, "I'm an actual potato." vibe and are so, so good. And what a milkshake 😊 I couldn't stop sucking that peanut butter, chocolate masterpiece down lol Thank you, Quickie!

I have tried to restrain from putting this review but this is the third time now. It’s always something with this place. Customer service is horrible. The Mac n yease I know is good and the banana cake but service absolute zero. They are not the most welcoming people. 1st time they had me waiting for over an hour for an order that they canceled then when I said I would wait after said hour , she said she hadn’t even started making it. This time round I placed an order not realizing I was 1hr early before they opened and the website let me place the order. They cancelled it and would not answer the phone that’s fine. But your money won’t reflect in your account till days later🙄. I think I’m done trying with this place I just wanted some vegan food close by. 😒

Traveling through the area found this place online. Didn't see that I had to order online until we were already there. But they didn't take long. The food was nummy! I had the seitan parm with a side salad. WOW! The texture was fabulous and the seasoning delicious! Very large portion size and the peanut butter cookie was Nummyluscious! I would definitely recommend. I'm sad I live all the way in Salem Oregon. Would love to enjoy their food more often.

There is no amount of praises that would be too much for this place. Every time I pass through Tacoma I feel as though I am missing out if I do not stop in. You literally cannot go wrong with any meal here. The milkshakes are the best I have ever had. I absolutely love the owners as well!

Super tasty! A great place for hearty, homey vegan food in Tacoma. We had the smoked seitan BLT sandwich with the spiced fries, as well as the hush puppies - absolutely incredible! Very easy to place a to-go order online and then pick up at the window outside the restaurant, too. Will recommend to anyone visiting Tacoma who's looking for plant-based options done deliciously.

Big fish burger is my go to but everything on the menu is great. One of Tacoma’s premier vegan spots and restaurants in general. A staple in the hilltop community. Please support this family owned business.

Weird not great customer service, but incredibly delicious vegan comfort food. Conflicted about how to do my review. Take-out only and you have to order online with an hourish wait. If you don't get email or text confirmation you need to go harass them in person and force them to tell you when your food is ready, which is hard because they seem understaffed and logistically a mess. After a 2 hour wait, quadruple checking I had given them my correct contact info, and getting brushed off multiple times in a row by the very busy woman running the window, I finally had to stand there and obstinately make her confirm that they were actually working on my group's food. She then told me my food had been ready an hour ago and was angry with me for not picking it up earlier despite my continual requests. (Edit: Later found my order confirmation in my "spam:promotions" email folder. Text confirmation instead might fix this issue) The food however was absolutely delicious (although a bit cold at this point). Easily some of the best vegan food I've ever eaten, and I've been eating consistently vegan for years now. Would absolutely go there again next time I'm in Tacoma, now that I know how to navigate their sloppy customer experience and long wait times.

Should you eat here? ABSOLUTELY! Wow - fantastic vegan soul food💚 the best hush puppies I've ever had. Gravy so tasty you'll want to drink it. Portions are large, service was quick & friendly. I got the Southern Comfort plate. The seitan tasted just like Salisbury steak. I highly recommend the Frank's Red Hot Mac n Yease - it's life changing!

They're only doing take out only for now. The food is really good! The hush puppies stayed crunchy so long, even after being in the fridge and microwaving for a bit. Will definitely come back if I have the time.

drove 20 miles to try this out, but after placing my order and getting there the estimated 30-45 minutes the food was being prepared, they didn’t even confirm my order yet. the place looked closed from the outside, and many people where waiting at the walk up window. for over 20 minutes no one came to the window to help any of the customers. finally and awkwardly after 1 hour 30 minutes placing the order.. I got the food bag (70$) and they didn’t even include the wrap or fries :/ the food was super underwhelming. the 1/2 fries we got were not good :( i get if you’re understaffed but put a sign on the window- don’t keep accepting orders- people cannot be understanding when they are left confused and staff is being zero with communication.
