Overall the room design, comfort n food is good but not great for 5 star hotel standard. But there are quite a few improvements needed if they rate themselves as 5 star hotel.

Super high class hotel, Including premium amenities like Gym, pool, Spa and kids playground, The hotel staff is very welcoming and professional, the food is excellent, You really can't go wrong with this hotel.

A nice hotel in stainable. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly. But the breakfast can be further improved.

Great hotel with terrific view. The manager Paul was excellent, he was able to resolved my concern in a prompt and professional manner. Also the front manager Wendy was also very friendly and courteous when i checked in. Superior service coupled with amazing facilities make this Crown hotel my top destination in Tainan. Thank you thank you thank you! I also want to give a big thank u to William Li at the concierge service. I got soaking wet on way back from my morning bike ride, William ran out to give me a drying towel and to check up on me to ensure im doing ok. Simply great service and care. I love this place!

Breakfast finishes at 10:30am which is a little early in our opinion. And because we have a young child, we came to eat breakfast at 10am. To our surprise, they packed up all the name displays for the food at 10:05am. They also packed up all their plates which they put their utensils and put them into the actual serving plates. I had to individually open each plate up to see what was inside and the spoon or tongs would fall out leaving food all over the floor. I brought this up with the manager and on the second day, they still started packing up all the name displays for the food around 10:20 which I still don't think is good enough. The hotel also prides themselves as a kid friendly hotel, but the utensils they offer for children were some adult size single use plastic spoon and fork which were completely inappropriate for children. And on our second day, we found that the nuts that they served had gone off. We had to tell the server to remove it before someone else ate it. The food quality for breakfast was not 5 star standard either. Very average quality. We also wanted to have non-caffeinated tea before bed and there was none in the room and so we called the hotel service but there was none available at the hotel... The room was nice but the food and service can really be improved.

Beautiful hotel among nature. The room was spacious, clean and had a great view. The hotel is not central, you will need to call taxis or have a car. However, for people who like nature and to walk, you can make it within 10 minutes to the main attractions of the Anping district. Walk through the park along dog runs (which I loved). I also felt that it’s safe to walk after dark (though there are (friendly) stray dogs). The hotel staff is very friendly, however some lack English proficiency. And remember - this is a chain hotel. Fast food style check-in, nobody helps with your suitcases, etc. All in all: I recommend this hotel.

My room was upgraded to riverside view room as a IHG member. As a 4 star hotel within IHG system, I think the hardware and services beats the price. Room is spacious and clean, the staff was welcoming and nice. Will definitely come back in the future.

The hotel is far from high seed rail, about 49 mins drive by taxi and cost about 25 usd. But along the drive, it feel like you are coming to other country. The hotel is quite new. Even though builded 4-5 years before, the space is clean and comfortable. It’s a pity that the swimming pool is under maintenance and not available until this April. There is not quite a good view from the room window, but the sunshine is good.

Just finished a long term stay here. It is not as good as it used to be years ago. Most of the staff was nice and efficient most of the time, but I did find a large dark brown stain visible laid out on a supposedly "clean" towel. I had a fairly crummy view of dilapidated buildings. When I tried to check out, the front desk lady said my corporate card was "declined" although when I called my card they said there was no charge put in (the lady snatched it away when I tried to put the card on the rfid reader initially). I would not recommend.

In January 2023, my companions and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful establishment. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the spaciousness of the room, providing us with ample comfort during our stay. We were treated to a mouthwatering spread of culinary delights that left us eager for the day ahead. The attention to detail and quality of the food served was simply outstanding, and we savored every bite. All in all, our stay here was a delightful experience, leaving us with cherished memories that we'll fondly remember. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat, enveloped in nature's embrace, and pampered with exceptional hospitality.

Was better 5 years ago. Rooms are still clean but does look a bit worn already. I ordered the beef noodle soup and wow, the worst beef noodle soup I’ve ever had and it was 3x the price of a good noodle soup you can get outside. The noodles were definitely not fresh and it was even hard.

The interior has been maintained nicely through the years, but the exterior needed more regular cleaning/ washing. Otherwise the upper floors view would be rendered useless. Sad to hear that electric car charging would no longer be free for staying guests starting Aug. 2023, just one less reason to go with them instead of the improving competition in the area given their price point.

Watching a sunset from the hotel is a magical and serene experience that allows you to appreciate the beauty of nature and the tranquility of the environment.

Great hotel, while it is a bit outside of Tainan center it's not a big deal. There is a beautiful park across the street with a lovely bike path or walk. The hotel offers bikes for the more adventurous and if you are into birding this hotel is near a few hotspots

The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean, very nice view from the balcony. Will definitely come back again.
