The WORST Marriott stay, ever. We spent NYE at the privilege twin room with executive lounge access, the dining experience is horrible without any hot meal and the only meal hot and eatable is pop corn. As a platinum elite member this is one and only Marriott in the world that I stayed "forced" us to have breakfast at the lounge instead of the buffet restaurant as an option. No proper response from the hotel manager after we claimed the bad experience.

My corner suite had a wonderful view. The alcoholic drinks that their executive lounge offered were very impressive. However, the snacks during the happy hours were much under 5-star hotel’s standard. In addition, it’s a bit weird that the executive lounge guests need to share rest room with gym-goers.

Modern, sleek hotel that is offers a great view of Taipei’s growing skyline. Impeccable service from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, lounge servers, gym, spa, and airport transportation. Made it so much easier for me during a busy week of meetings. Easy to get taxis, and a nice central location to anywhere in Taipei. My new favorite hotel in Taipei!!

The experience at Taipei Marriott was fantastic. The hotel's luxurious accommodations and top-notch amenities made the experience truly enjoyable. The staff provided exceptional service, ensuring a seamless and memorable visit. The central location allowed easy access to Taipei's attractions and dining options. Whether dining at the fine restaurants or unwinding in the stylish bar, every aspect of the stay was delightful. Taipei Marriott is highly recommended for a fantastic and unforgettable experience in this vibrant city. Whether traveling for business or leisure, Taipei Marriott's hospitality and convenience make it a top choice for an extraordinary stay in Taipei.

The room was clean and spacious The TV didn't have many channels, also no youtube or screen-mirroring feature There was a small shopping area just next to the lobby The service was okay and quite fast, although it would be nice if the front desk can be more friendly The location is great, just around 10 mins walk from MRT station and Mitsui Outlet

As a hotel member, due to work,I requested 1pm late check out. The staff response “we are fully booked “ and just hang up the phone! extremely rude, very unprofessional service during my stay ! Not recommended at all!

Great design and service. I don’t particularly like this location, but apart from this, the place provides good service and quality. Lobby design is great and people are really helpful and friendly. Either you use Mandarin or English, they are eager to help you solve your issue. Unlike others, even though they are changing shift, they still help you beyond their work hour, that is really putting customers first spirit. This place is clean and safe and may not have much around here. You will need taxi to go around Taipei. And taxi is unlike the US, it is relatively cheap and Taipei is also small. Within 30 minutes, you pretty much can reach any location you want to go in Taipei from here.

The hotel is really nice in general - a typical chained 5-star experience. Nice room with good size and utilities. The lobby was grand and it came with a huge mall as well. The hotel breakfast was as expected - fair enough with good range of choices. The neighbourhood was really quiet - two convenient stores just one min away. It was not close to any metro though - a minimum 5-8 mins walk to the shopping mall and probably 10 mins to the metro - taxi was a better option here.

The function hall course meal was good but serving size was a little bit small. The whole hotel looked nice, clean and modern.

My review for Marriott Taipei: 1) Hotel staff - friendly and warm, professional and always there to help. Front desk was very efficient during check in/out. 2) room - clean, comfy, spacious, housekeeping was tip top. 3) lounge - clean and good selection of food and drinks. Reception staff was efficient and welcoming. 4) gym - big and clean. Well equipped. 5) breakfast place - good selection of food and tasty. 6) location - surrounded by many convenience shops (7-11, family mart). 5 mins walk to shopping mall, 10 mins walk to train station. Yellow taxis are always on standby outside the hotel, just inform the staff at the drop off point and they will help to inform the driver your destination if you do not speak mandarin. Overall I had a great stay at Marriott Taipei 👍🏼

Stayed at the Skyline View room and loved it! The room is spacious and has with a huge bathtub. The room has a spectacular view of meiti riverside park, songshan airport and taipei 101. Location is convenient with Carrefour and Miramar Mall within walking distance.

Poor service, I mean the employees who work there talk to customers in quite rude way ?! Example--- 1.They lead my friend to the elevator too quickly, which means as a customer you need to run to catch their speed . 2.we want to take a look 19f swimming pool after having breakfast with our take-away cafe, the employee speak loudly "can't bring the drinks inside!" even we still fay away , and also we hope can be told in gentle. 3. 20f has a super fantastic bar , maybe way to fantastic ,so told costumers "sorry , can not even take a look or cross line , because of it holding the events all night "---- Sadly, we considered book the hotel for birthday celebration, it mean our plan have to be cancelled and upset. 4. Breakfast buffet is very busy and limit for 60 mins only. there are still 2-3 nice employees.but most of them .... vice versa. :( I think this hotel is more suitable for business trip or businesses customers only, otherwise you will be ruinning good vocation mood.

Love the location; nicely developed area with immense green parks and views to the surrounding green mountains. The hotel room is spacious, the bath tub facing the room with blinds as division, a birthday cake was gifted as a double celebration stay! The easy walk to the Food Republic, the Miramar Ferris Wheel and department store all added to the fun! The only down point was the hotel concierge didn't help to load our suitcases to the taxi for us, services must be consistent from begining to end! All in all a nice weekend away!

It is a very nice hotel but service can be a little better - the details! The rooms are new, clean, and big and everything you expect from a modern hotel. AC is strong and room service is excellent. The lobby service on the day was a little disappointing. Check-in starts at 15:00 and we arrived at 16:00, but the two rooms were not ready until 16:30. We asked the clerk for four room cards and he forgot the request when he handed us the cards. We had to ask the clerk what to do with our parking cards for the duration of the stay. The buffet was solid and delicious - go earlier when it opens at 6:30

Great place for conference and networking sessions. The night view at 36th floor is awesome. Don’t even know it is a 37th floor building before. Food is delicious. Service is great.

Stayed here twice. Once in the sky comfort suite and one time in the Brilliant suite. For the room itself, both were great experiences. The sky comfort suite has awesome city view, while the brilliant suite has more spacious living area plus an oversized bed that’s even larger than the one in another suite. Overall I enjoyed the second visit more because my first visit was during the long weekend, they were super busy and we had to queue up even when checking-in on the 19th floor, and of course the Pool was really crowded then. I am a Titanium member and will come back for sure, they try their best for the service and for honoring elite status.

During my two months Asia Tour, Taipei is one of the stops, here at Taipei Marriott I stayed for 5 nights, and this is one of the nicest Marriott that has one of the nicest City of Taipei and Taipei 101 view. My room was upgraded to a suite, and it have nice view looking out to Taipei airport and Taipei 101. The Suite have; Bedroom: - King Bed - Large looking out window Bathroom: - Large Bathroom with Big Bath Tub - Shower room - Restroom - Double sinks for him and her Living room: - Large living room - Large Sofa The staff: The staff at the lounge was very accommodating during my staying of 6 days, I would suggest my family and friends to stay here if they ever visit Taipei.

We got the 30th floor with the travel exhibit deal. Tbh, even with that price point, I still wouldn't recommend it. The only great thing about our room was the view( though very tainted windows). The decor was outdated, the tech nonexistent ( not even a Bluetooth speaker at this price point). The bath and bed was divided only with a curtain. Overall would only stay for very special occasions such as watching the Taipei 101's new year fireworks.

This view is so stunningly although the price is a little bit high. I think it's worth it. Not only it has brilliant service but also the room is so clean and comfortable. We did enjoy celebrating our NEW YEAR EVE. I will stay in this awesome hotel again if I go to Taipei next time. I highly recommended this hotel to every traveler if you are looking for a great hotel. This may be the one you want to stay.

5 minutes to the MRT station. Concierge wasn’t helpful as no one at all Came to help with our luggages when we arrived and when we leave. But the big teddy bear guy at the concierge and the lady was extremely helpful when we needed to book for our excursions trip to yeh liu, jiu fen, shi fen etc. they packed bottles of water for us and also an umbrella too in case it rains. P The business lounge is nice but there are quite many children which makes it quite noisy. This hotel is nearby to Miramar Mall.

hotel is far from the airport & attractions except the national palace museum. room & attached bathroom are reasonably big & spacious & clean. equipment in gym are solid & relatively new. service was excellent esp concierge. at about usd400 per nite for a room with 2 queen size beds for 3 pax is more than a tad pricey.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Marriott Taipei, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience of the outstanding service I received during my stay. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and satisfied. One incident that truly impressed me was when I accidentally left my cell phone in a taxi. I was worried, but the hotel staff quickly sprang into action. They checked the security footage to identify the taxi and immediately contacted the taxi company on my behalf. Thanks to their quick thinking and dedication, I was reunited with my cell phone within just a few hours. Their effort and care were truly exceptional. Aside from the remarkable incident with my phone, the service throughout the hotel was consistently outstanding. The lounge area had a serene and inviting atmosphere, and the staff was always attentive and friendly. They were ready to help whenever needed, and their genuine warmth and professionalism made me feel valued as a guest. The men's locker and facilities were kept in impeccable condition. It was clear that the hotel staff took great pride in ensuring everything was clean and well-maintained. This attention to detail added to my overall sense of comfort and enjoyment during my stay. Lastly, the pool at Marriott Taipei was a definite highlight of my visit. It was beautifully maintained and provided a refreshing escape from the summer heat. The pool area was always tidy, and the staff made sure it was well taken care of, creating a pleasant and hygienic experience for all guests. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Marriott Taipei for its outstanding service, exceptional staff, and top-notch facilities. From their extraordinary efforts to retrieve my lost phone to their attentive service in the lounge, clean men's facilities, and well-kept pool, every aspect of my stay was simply superb. I eagerly look forward to returning to Marriott Taipei in the future and experiencing their exemplary hospitality once again.

Our home away from home. As an expat family, we move from country to country every few years and Marriott has provided us with consistent service across different countries. They are also very easy to talk to regarding your needs. My kids need a place to stay because online class was implemented over the weekend. Marriott allowed us to check in at 8 am so my children will have a safe place to take classes as our house was getting packed. We just request a place where they can stay but they went beyond and understood our situation and the dangers of the pandemic and allowed us access to the room before classes started.

Everything is okay but can’t say we are satisfied. I think the main reason is the expectation is higher than the fact. One thing we can’t really accept is the pillows. We are supposed to have four pillows but we only have two. I think a 5-star hotel should know the standard. One big and the other small, one firm and the other soft —is basic knowledge. It’s really uncomfortable and we can’t have a sound sleep due to the pillow issue. The breakfast buffet is okay.

Stayed in a Comfort Suite. Pros: - Living room and bedroom was very spacious - Kid's club ("Funtasy Land") in the hotel, operating Fri-Mon, and costs $550 per child Cons: - Limited food selection during breakfast and happy hour in the Executive Lounge

Been to many five star hotels and the staff are mostly very warm and hospitable, Including Marriott in Seattle, Kula Lumpur. However the staff in the Taipei Marriott need to be more attentive. Being a staff in a five star hotel doesn’t mean you have to be cold and nonchalant to guests with regular rooms and then turn around and be something different to guest with executive rooms. The only upside was the hotel was pretty empty so we got to check in early.

Loved this modern hotel!! The entire staff was incredibly helpful with this non Mandarin speaker. Location was great, as it was only a few minute Uber ride to places in Taipei. Would definitely stay here again.

Good: + Stayed on mid January 2023 with points, front desk manager checked me in, upgraded me to high floor with great view. Thanks 😊 + enjoyed the breakfast and light dinner at club lounge floor. Opportunities for improvement: Recommend to print a TV channels info next to remote, save time on channel surfing.

After touring around Taiwan for a few weeks, ending it in this Marriot hotel feels like coming home. The staff is very friendly, the lounge has a very good breakfast, a nice variety of snacks throughout the day and a full dinner during happy hours. The pool was quiet and lovely. The rooms are very clean and some have truly great views.

Titanium member. Booked a Sky Suite with cash. Told no upgrade option available. Balcony door ABSOLUTELY cannot be opened (due to safety concern though the railing was almost as high as my shoulder) as if I would jump over. Oh no, it's too windy they said. Excuses! I'm 170 lb adult and I think I can manage not be blown off a balcony. What's the point of booking the sky suite with cash when I can't see the view clearly. I cannot see the view clearly because their window is pretty dirty! Oh they won't clean the window despite the notice on my bed that they will clean it between 9am to 4pm and to keep the curtains down. What's the point of booking a suite with a view if I'm gonna keep my curtain down throughout the day for window cleaning that will not happen? Do NOT book the Sky suite unless you like to pay more for a smaller room. The suite is also noisy at night for reasons I still can't figure out to this day. Maybe weekend guests are more noisy? Or maybe the walls are thinner than the rooms downstairs? I would much rather settle for a free upgrade from a basic room downstairs than paying twice for this bird box.

We had a lovely deluxe room with 2 large beds which were ideal for a family of 4. We had lots of fun venturing different restaurants during our entire stay. And there is a small area for shopping arcade which featured some interesting cafes and items for sale. Their service team was good and attentive. Special shout out to Kenny from concierge team. The view from our room was amazing, facing the garden. Their room service food was good too. We had lots of fun here during our final week in Taiwan.

Fantastic hotel on north side of Taipei. There are several hotels and bars on site. The staff is very professional and helpful. The location is slightly out of the way from the heart of downtown. Luckily, the public transportation is good and cheap. I would definitely stay here again.

Try to dial room service, but the phone is not working either. For toilet seat…. If you know, you know. For ceiling , …. I assumed previous customers were smoker ?! Maybe? … but weird, I noticed it when I entered the space… , this hotel need a better inspector. Not recommend for hotel staying, but restaurants are good. By the way, the room has NO USB charger. So make sure bring your charger plug 🔌 Stars for three religions holy books.

不錯的旅館,但是早餐真的不好吃,而且還要排隊。而且很趕。 This is a relatively good hotel with some rooms for improvement. The rooms are pretty roomy, very clean and all have great views of Taipei. The outdoor pool was nice with good views and heated but still can be cold on a cloudy day. What I thought needed some improvement was the breakfast. It was included with your stay and buffet style. But it was rushed and chaotic. The staff kept on reminding us of how much time we had left to eat and to get food and the line to get coffee was insane. And the food was bland and tasteless. I mean how can you mess up scrambled eggs? Location wise, a bit further from all the action but we took advantage of the free bus and went to Shilin night market ourselves. Overall tho, it was a comfortable and good stay.
