Nice family-run place with solid menu of udon, teriyaki, curry, and rice dishes. Last order at 730; open til 800. Regular servings about 700 to 1000 yen, large for about 1100 to 1300.

This is traditional place which serve soba. I ordered large portion with tempura being tired after climbing mountains and rice with tororo to share with my child. This is the first time when large portion of soba was sufficiently big! Taste is amazing. My husband had soba with local vegetables and it was very beautifully served on big leaves. Don’t expect here big variety of alcohol, which is mentioned near the entrance (however we had the only available type of sake, which was good). Need to pay only by cash. Last order need to be paid before 7:30 pm.I would be happy to come back there.

The soba miso karame was delicious! It was the only thing I tried. The atmosphere was nice for a solo traveler.

It was a run of the mill udon restaurant, one of the few in the area. It does the job and is reasonably priced, but don't expect an exquisite meal. Service was fast and polite as with most Japanese restaurants.

Service is good, Food is at reasonable price range. Enough portion. Good environment. Just beside the bus station.

The food is nice and good value for you money. English menu & flexible opening hours (around that area). Down side is the service - not that kind & not that tourist friendly

Basic but nice food. Awesome tea - one of the best tea varieties as it offers more than just black/green tea. Besides, it's a rather fine late dinner choice in a town that doesn't offer much options.

Hida gyu was exquisite. Idk why others are complaining. My food was fantastic!
