Nice waterfall. But we can't go near where the water fall. We can only see it from the distance. 残念

Couldn't get very close, but pretty. Free, so worth a quick stop, but I'd skip if parking all full.

The water fall is quite long. It takes about 30 minutes from the nearest carpark to the water fall. Not far away from the nearby onsen. Deserved to visit.

Visited on 25 February 2023. You can park your car at the parking near the entrance of Hirayu Ski Area. Then take a 750m-walk around 15 mins to the waterfall. The day I went it was snowy and beautiful.

Nice and relatively easy 30 min hike from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal to the Waterfall. Best to go before 10:30 am as the sun behind the Waterfall will be very glaring if you want to have a nice photo shoot of the Waterfall. After 11:30 am should be better or later part of the day.

Worth the trip even though the path to the falls is closed :(

Waterfall is nice, but the whole area seems a bit left (half of the hiking trails closed) and is definitely not well maintained

The waterfalls were frozen when we visited but the hike and view were best.

Enjoyed the chill around this strong and beautiful waterfall on sunny day. (a little tricky turn to this place, but you can’t miss it if you follow the signs)

Nice waterfall. Easy access. No hike required. Might as well stop by if passing through.

Great unspoilt views and relatively easy hike, unfortunately it's a very cloudy day when I was there

Beautiful waterfall at the end of a very short hike. The area is refreshing in hot summer months

Great waterfall with a nice view. Cannot get too close to the falls, which is the only drawback. A great short hike if you are in Hirayu onsen town. A small farm with sheep on the way there is you are hiking from town.

Beautiful fall! Unfortunately you can only view from a distance as access is restricted to about 100 metres from its base. Still, the power can be felt even from that distance.
