Amazing food with incredible attention to detail. Every single part of every dish (many courses in traditional japanese kaiseki style) was finished exquisitely. We had our own room in a beautiful traditional Japanese garden (amazing!) and each dish was served by two people (one waitress and the owner(?) who explained everything in English. Obviously more expensive than a casual meal but completely worth it given the quality of the food and service.

Kakusho serves shojin ryori cuisine, a traditional seasonal vegetarian dishes of Zen Buddhist monks. The dishes is served in a private room surrounded by beautiful moss garden.
