My husband and I vacation in Tampa Florida for the weekend so I had to guest dose at Tampa methadone facility. I met a counselor by the name of Lori-Madison Jones who made my experience easy as possible. She know how to treat patients and I wish I can take her back to Jacksonville, Florida with me to be my regular counselor. There wasn't any long lines nor weirdos hanging outside. The nurses that I met were very nice and helpful But Overall Mrs. Jones made the take. She is EVERYTHING. And she was very patient while waiting on my dose verifications.

I've been a patient with New Seasons for over a year. The young lady that collects the urine samples for drug test. Has changed the process on her own to make her job easier and makes patients process very unnecessary. She calls the patients junkies and crackers.

Sometimes they do their own thing and don't go by the rules (meaning there are not always consistent standards for take homes for example) but the clinic has a few good counselors and nurses if are lucky to get assigned to one. (Counselor Leilanie is very kind and empathetic and seems to really advocate for her patients). Unfortunately this clinic isn't a very unsafe area of Tampa so be aware and very careful. The staff changes a lot which is not good but sometimes like I said you do get lucky.

After being 5years clean from 1 drug, I relapsed with a diff. one and finally decided it was time, time for me to get back to me for me! I deserve so much more than I was giving myself and my family. After starting treatment with New Season I finally feel like there is hope! I was 1hr and a half late due to the ride Medicaid sent having issues and taking me off the route. They still saw me, and there was never any judgement from anyone I came across during the appointment. Intake lasted a couple hours and then I paid $17 and was able to dose right then. It only took Medicaid 3 days to kick in and take over payments. It is super easy and fast most days however when you have to see your counselor, it takes a bit longer. I don't regret this decision and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunity to have a happy and healthy life!

This place is purely for those who have insurance that covers MAT like methadone and suboxone/subutext. For those who pay out-of-pocket, the daily fee is a minimum of $17. There are zero allowances if you don't have the daily fee, which is a terrible, terrible, ridiculously inconsiderate policy. They will literally turn you away if for some reason you don't have the money for the day, sending folks out to score drugs just to maintain! Even drug dealers allow their customers a front so they can get by, even drug dealers have enough compassion to let someone dose for the day. When I went, I spoke to a nurse about what would happen if I get paid a day late, and if I could dose and then just pay the next day along with the next day's fee as well. The nurse said they would probably work with me, and to just show up and speak with the program director. So the next day, I walked for 2.5-3 hours to get my dose, and the program director turned me away! I even told her that a nurse said it would be fine, and that I walked almost 3 hours to get there! The program director disrespectfully asked if I could even afford treatment. Terrible miscommunication between staff, and between staff and clients. The counselors barely meet and speak with you, seems like they're just there for a good paycheck. The only folks who seemed nice were the nurses, God bless them. I'd say this place is worse than going through a drug dealer. At least drug dealers have enough human compassion to work with you, if you don't have money for they day- knowing you'll be back to pay them. This place is a for-profit joke. Again, the only good thing about this place was the nice nurses. DACCO (Now called Cove Behavioral Health) is much much much better. New Seasons is a compassionless, profit-driven treatment center that only those with insurance will enjoy. Apparently addicts pick this place because they don't really have to do anything but pay and dose- very little drug tests and almost no consequences for failing drug tests, barely any educational groups, barely any time with counselors, just an all around bad experience.

Awesome place so far! Everything during intake was quick and they never let me sit more than two minutes, I guess they understand the addict mindset of wanting to feel better as soon as possible. Second day was just as quick to dose and leave, no sitting and waiting. They are compassionate, they treat you like a human, and they are covered by most insurance. If your paying out of pocket its $17 so cheaper than getting high and safer. I love this place, if I could give more stars I would. Side note, if you're taking Transit from their Center the quickest way back to Brandon is to take the 400 to Marion Transit Center and the 8 to Brandon Mall. Google Maps had all kinds of different ways that were much more slower and took more transfers.

Don't call them with a complaint they'll hang up on you. You're gonna have to call the pharmacy board to get any action. Called because I waited over an hour from my annual then the doc just decided he wasn’t gonna do annuals. The doctor wait times are out of control. If people have to wait hours mabe it’s time for a new doctor?….

This place has had an alarm going off all night. People and their children should be able to sleep in peace in their own homes without this disruption. This is definitely a place with no regard for the community and should be avoided.

Please fix your alarm! It goes off nightly disturbing the entire neighborhood. I understand needing an alarm based on the nature of your business, but it is really only effective if it is monitored by someone...

I have been here for nearly 4 years come July 2022 and can’t say enough positive about New Seasons Treatment Center. Counselors. Ron is awesome. Ron is the main reason treatment is successful. He treats everyone with respect and his positive and upbeat personality makes you feel comfortable right away. All the nurses are caring and kind. Everyone there, nurses, counselors staff all treat you like a person and not an addict. Not everyone that comes here is a homeless deadbeat that did drugs. There are many of us that had/have a good life own home(s) have good jobs etc and they treat everyone equal. Even when a patient treats them horrible which I have seen many times they still stay calm and are respectful. I know I sure would not take being talked to the way some patients talk to them!! They are opening a location in Brandon which would be closer to my home but I’m having a hard time making the decision to change locations as I am soo comfortable at this location. Another special worker (Nurse) who I have taken a liking to is Gloria. She has always made me feel good when I see her. Some people you meet in life that you just instantly like, well Gloria and Ron are examples of this. I can’t say much about the drs as I have only dealt with them once a year for my annual health checkup. Anyone that has been to a dr knows some don’t have the best bedside manner. The same can be said for a few here but that is something you would deal with in life anyway. Not the clinic’s fault at all. I highly recommend this clinic. Chris R.

Came here for the first time this weekend and I must say this place is amazing, friendly staff and I couldn't help but notice how clean the building was and how well they maintain their waiting rooms,. I was a guest in Tampa this weekend, I felt right at home. I would like to thank the staff for helping me and treating me like a person. If I could give you ten stars I would. Thank you. Nelson

I can't express enough the gratitude I have for my counselor Kimber! She is the sole reason I stuck with the program. The quality of life I have today was previously unimaginable, so thank you so much!

Takes advantage of the most vulnerable people in the Tampa community. Not sure how the investors, board of directors and Doctors of these facilities sleep at night knowing they are profiting from addiction.

This place is ridiculous..... They close early on holidays instead of giving take homes. And if you are ONE MINUTE late by accident they won't dose you. But they expect you to pay close to $600 a month with no insurance. I can understand if someone is 30mins late. But a min to ten minutes. C'mon. It's a quick thing to dose one or two people.

This Dr that sounds like his name starts with an F, needs to respect his patients. Just because they r addicts does not mean he can talk to them any kind of way. He was a real AH to my brother n I don't appreciate that. This SO CALLED DOCTOR, is abusing his power because these addicts r at his mercy. Addict or not u don't freaking talk to my brother like that . I wonder if that Dr talked to my brother like that while I waited in the hallway how would he really treat the others

Honestly horrible, the alarms go off all the time and nothing is done about it. This place is managed horribly and I think a child could do a better job. I would rather drive an extra five hours then go here. If I could give a 0 star I would!!!!

Excellent, from Dosing to getting help. Nurses are awesome. I just find it hard to get in touch with my counselor over the phone. They never answer and never return your call. And also I'm on my phase 2 getting ready for my phase 3. Take home. I can't see myself again stressing how to get there on top of my lupus sle and my luecimia I won't be able to handle another year stressing how I'm gonna get there. If that happens that I get taken away my medication takehome. It will force me back on control substance again. After a year that I've been clean off of the roxycodone 30mg. I can't see myself getting in involve with the control substance. again after so long. For one year my urine test have been clear.Thank you .

I am a patient here, have been for over a year now... myself, my husband and many friends and associates all are actually... I can't speak for any councelors other than my own, however, Chris Certain is helpful, caring, funny, always knows what resources to point you to or how to help with any situation you can throw at him. He has been my only counselor since I've become a patient (I know other people have switched around from councelor to councelor because they leave or transfer or what not but not mine!) and he has helped me through situation after situation including helping me find (and keep) gainful employment, he helped us get resources to find people and places to get into an apartment (and out of living in a hotel for over a year), he always says all the right things to bring me back to my senses when I slipped up a few months back and all in all I couldn't ask for a better, more attentive councelor to help me through this VERY difficult transition. Even if he not your counselor, you should stop by his office on the way out after dosing and say hi! I almost 100% guarantee he will make you smile or laugh every time!!!

Despite them not putting your number on the dry board on your drop day anymore and the occasional ridiculous line that forms at any given time, or the retarded wait times for the doctor (who really screwed me over when I asked to go up on my dose because he wouldn't allow it because I was in severe pain when I seen him last), the place is fantastic. There is no hastle about much and it's normally in and out as long as you are not arriving when the doors open. Can't say that about any other place. Still need to go up on my dose, but I don't have the time to see the doctor to go up, not with that jerk and his wait times.

I believe this wonderful lady might be a corporate employee but I just wanted to acknowledge how wonderful, caring, and helpful she was to a complete stranger (myself) that called her today to get into about starting treatment. Her name was Deanna Johnson and I wish her the best and hope New Season Treatment knows how great of an employee/person they have on staff. Thanks again.

Tampa Metro/New Seasons, have very convenient dosing hours, they have 6 open station's, which is more than any other clinic I've seen have open. The nurses are knowledgeable and have empathy for us as clients. The counselors are all educated and treat us with respect, as long as respect is given. I like it there, they saved my life for sure!!!

Can be messy if your going for the right reasons you won't have any thing to worry about !! It's a treatment center not the local hang out spot!! Éxpect a long line on holidays and emergencies!!

This place is no different than a pill mill..they try to put you on a high dose and keep you there as long as they can but if they feel like you're a liability to them they kick you out no matter how high of a dose you're on.. I went through the withdrawals and I would much rather go through the withdrawal from opiods than get on methadone. Once you're on it you'll get stuck there for several years. It took me over 10 years to get out of there and I was still withdrawing. Opioid withdrawals only last about a week. Methadone is for the rest of your life!!! Not to mention the fact that you're nothing but money and a number to the entire staff. Not to mention the fact that the male dr is an A - hole. The way he talks and treats people, .awesome me wonder if he's even a real dr. The guy just a has no manners and treats and calls everyone junkies!!! I'm glad I finally got out of there !!!
