Amazing! Massive space, with an upstairs, huge downstairs and a balcony with a very pretty view of the beach. The toilets are very clean and there are lots of them. There is a large range of food options including a breakfast menu served until 12, and lots of drinks. The servers were super friendly, I will definitely be back here.

This is the best Weatherspoon I 've been to. Fantastic building and its location is right on the beach with brilliant sea views. It's clean, the waiters work at the highest level, fast service. The atmosphere is wonderful and friendly. Too bad you can't bring your dog here.

Even though I visited Ramsgate to experience the wartime tunnels, I think a visit to the Wetherspoon was the highlight of my trip. The place is amazing. Right next to the harbour with stunning views of the beach and the town. The place is massive. The server told me it can accommodate 1500 persons, and I believe her. I have never seen anything like it. Apparently, it used to be a casino that got converted into a pub. The place is super cheap. I couldn't believe the prices. Eating and drinking at these prices at this location should be a crime. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Fantastic. Amazing building in a wonderful location. Had breakfast here with friends overlooking the beach. Could have been anywhere in the world. Great value for money. Food came super fast and was very good. Refillable hot drinks is a very good touch. What's not to like !! If I lived near here I would come several times a week. They have got this so right in this day and age !!

Love how they've done the terrace so you can watch the sun set over the harbour and beach. Unusually had trouble with the app but the staff were really helpful and we eventually had a good meal with great view. Only reason not 5 stars is they've made the smoking area a ring of seats around the edge of the best view so you have to look through the smoke to see it!

We visited on a wet Monday night. A good few people in the bar. The building is lovely and Wetherspoons have done a great job reforming it. Service was good, food and drinks good. A lovely venue with great views on the balcony area. Prices are usual wethersoons so all very good.

As a regular in Weatherspoons pubs, I can say out of the 15 I have visited this must be in the best location so far. It's lovely sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea and enjoying a pint, the only downside is as a Stella drinker they spoil the beer by serving it in a non Stella glass, and as any Stella drinker knows Stella must be served in a nucleated Stella chalice, as the staff are all wearing STELLA PLEASE tee shirts to promote the beer, this has to change. Other than that a lovely place to chill.

It's the biggest Wetherspoons pub in the UK. But is it the best? Yes, I think it is. Service is so quick, staff are all polite, the food is well cooked and the views from the balcony are amazing.

This is probably the best Wetherspoons I've been in. It's definitely in the best location - right on Ramsgate beach with fantastic views from the outside terrace. On a warm summers evening sitting amongst the tropical looking plants outside and watching the sun set over the harbour it's almost unbeatable. It's also a massive pub with hundreds of seats. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic place. Right on the beach with a great raised decking area outside. Huge inside. Staff were fantastic - despite it being very busy, they were on point and it was a well oiled machine.

Apparently one of the biggest spoons in the UK, very nice, friendly staff, fast food service, practically ordered then received asap. Can walk straight out to the beach, really loved this spoons was a nice beach experience.

Excellent place with spectacular views to the beach. Great value and plenty of veggie options, free coffee refill, and a very spacious place with a lovely terrace in the second floor. Food is delicious. I had a vegan breakfast and it was amazing, 100% recommmended.

Wonderful place to visit in Ramsgate, old building, nice view, worth the detour. Easily spend 2 hours enjoying time. when the sun is present, the terrace is magnificent.

So far the best Wetherspoon I've ever been in. It's on the beach, next to the marina, two floors with outdoor seating, a huge terrace with amazing views. Great drinks selection as always. Fast service. Really, the best one I've ever been in.

The best wetherspoons in England, outside on the terrace you could be mistaken for being in the south of France, its truly beautiful, the view out to sea and the harbour ,food and drink always reasonably priced and staff pleasant.

We stayed nearby and wanted to visit because it was the largest Spoons on the country. The pub was right on the beach and sitting on the balcony, looking out at sea was lovely. It is a huge pub. Very clean. Has so many staff so no big queues when we visited and tables were quickly cleared. We visited on both nights of our stay. You can't beat their prices and its always nice pint or wine. Definitely worth a visit.

We had breakfast with friends. The food was very good but would have been better served on hot plates as meal got cold quickly. But meals were a good size and well cooked. Will definitely be returning.

The venue is absolutely stunning, sitting right in the beach with the most gorgeous windows to frame the view, even in the wet and windy day we visited it was just stunning, what looked to me like 1940s architecture I just adore it. Service was amazingly prompt and true weatherspoon style pricing. I will be back to spend some long summer evenings here 👌🏻🤌🏻👌🏻

Popped into the Wetherspoons in Ramsgate around 7.30pm for a nice large glass of Villa Maria. Once you navigate around all the bikers outside the place is huge. It is a nice building and lots of seating area. It wasn't clear where the smoking areas were because I wanted to avoid them. However, I was sat right in the middle of it, on the top veranda. The glass balcony could do with cleaning and the tables were a bit sticky. However, staff were coming around cleaning them. The chairs are metal and when pulled out make an awful noise. You could hear the waves but it was dark so couldn't see much. The bar staff was pleasant. The wine was great however, this is one of those Wetherspoons that the prices are a little higher than normal.

The biggest weatherspoons (debatable) yet one of the smallest kitchens and menus for spoons. The service was ok, nothing special, nothing bad. The food, as always with spoons, it is hit and miss. Today was a miss for me. The tennessee burger was terrible. Came out without the onion rings, greasy bun on the outside (from greasy fingers putting plating up) and it was oh so dry. I had to double check it was beef and not leather 🤣 I'd advise spoons in deal, bigger menu, better food, better service and nicer place.

Huge Wetherspoons pub with some outdoor seating looking out onto the beach. Inside had little atmosphere and the "fiesta burger" wasn't much of a party for the taste buds.

A fantastic venue and pub that is now getting a little tired. Unfortunately the worse thing is the staff. Gulls fighting over food on the tables outside while staff walk past almost empty plates on empty tables without clearing them. Prefer to stand around chatting rather than serve the person patiently standing at the bar infron of them. But worse than that, downright clueless lies. Have a look at the photo of the two different pints, I was told she stood and watched them come from the same pump and was assured they were the same beer!

😠 I only visit Margate twice a year for days out. I have gone into the Mechanical Elephant on each visit to order breakfast. When I visited last year, the food was virtually cold & I had to return it. I thought that a year on, it could not be that bad again. I visited about 8:30am & there were only tw...
