5/5 MISS P. 7 months ago on Google
My
mum
lives
close
by
so
we
visit
The
Minnis
quite
a
few
times
a
year.
On
our
last
visit
things
were
not
entirely
up
to
scratch
but
still
nice.
I
see
that
the
menu
has
had
a
refresh
since,
lots
of
things
have
been
taken
off
the
menu
and
the
staple
options
have
been
left
on.
We
had
a
great
reserved
table
with
a
lovely
view,
and
we
ordered
our
drinks
and
food.
The
drinks
arrived
very
quickly,
the
food
took
a
while
to
arrive
probably
longer
than
usual
but
when
the
food
arrived,
we
could
see
why
it
had
taken
a
little
longer
to
arrive
as
the
presentation
was
great,
the
food
was
cooked
freshly,
the
portion
sizes
were
very
generous
especially
as
the
fish
I'd
ordered
filled
up
the
whole
plate!
;).
I
think
the
food
which
we
had
yesterday
was
probably
the
best
yet
that
we'd
had
over
the
years.
Smaller
menu
choice
but
cooked
to
perfection.
My
mum
had
the
pork
which
she
thoroughly
enjoyed
and
I
had
the
haddock
and
chips
which
was
fab.
(my
only
criticism
if
I
had
one
was
the
peas
were
in
a
tiny
egg
cup
sized
container
&
I
would've
liked
more
peas).
The
chips
being
served
now
are
a
vast
improvement
on
what
used
to
be
served
(large
dryish
oven
chips
previously).
Now
they
are
smaller
with
flavour.
We
spoke
to
the
really
friendly
waitress
to
ask
her
to
pass
on
our
thanks
to
the
chef/kitchen
for
a
lovely
meal
and
she
was
really
grateful
for
the
feedback
and
did
pass
it
on.
