It's a very nice place meeting place of lake and sea. We can see many sculptures. There is a hanging bridge, floating restaurant. There is a children's park. They newly added a small train in which you can take a mini park tour. There is many small shops for buying food and drinks E toilet facility is available. The place is very nice with beautiful scene

Very clean and neat. The vendors are so friendly. Its a good place to take in the ocean. Be with your family, your friends, yourself.... everything matters❤️ Ticket is 20 per person. Camera is 250, but it includes 2 persons ticket.

It was a satisfying encounter. Even in the afternoon, the lakeside scenery and the powerful sea breeze currents make for a pleasant visit. Adults must pay 20 rupees per head; minors under a certain age may be eligible for a discount. Additionally, ample parking is offered for 20 rupees. To appreciate the fresh wind and the scenery with your significant other, it could be advisable to visit before noon and preferably in the evening. All that's there is a wholesome seashore and park along the lake.

It is a good place to spend evenings with your friends and family. You have the facilities for boating, mini rail, children's park available here. It has Rs 20 ticket for entry. I didn't it worth the price. You will have much more suitable areas to spend your time without even spending a single penny. Except the fair it is a nice place filled with the stunning views of sunset, sea and backwaters

It's the best place to have an early morning picnic with your friends and family under the shades of trees, in the green grass looking onto the beautiful lake. It is a good spot to have family and friends meeting etc. A calm & peaceful place to go next.

Just another passable park in Trivandrum. They've got a few activities like the toy train. Lucky to have Lulu next door, which will pull in a few customers. The park has a set of convoluted paths on either side of the an arm of the lake. There is an area dedicated to children. And then a strip of seating along the lake edge. Nothing much exciting in the park except for some boring kill-time naps and stares.

This beautiful park along with boating facilities and a beach is one of the most visited tourist spots at trivandrum. Started near the veli railway station, entry charge is minimal. The park is open till 7-7:30 pm however the beach access is restricted to 6:15 pm. There is speed boating and mini toy train too. However, both close at 5 pm. So be advised. There is also a floating restaurant inside and small eateries. Facilities are adequate with paid parking available nearby. Only problem is the park closes relatively early and other entertainments closes even earlier. Good for children.

Visited recently. Good place to spend time with family at the evening. Ticket costs Rs 20 for an adult person. Children park, floating restaurant, veli lake, boating, sea, horse riding, toy train and much more. Ice cream shops and tea shops are available for refreshments. Totally a good place to enjoy the evening.

It was a pleasant experience. The lake side view with strong wind currents from the sea make this a comfortable visit even in the afternoon. Fee per head is 20 rupees for adults, there may be concessions for children under particular ages. Sufficient parking is also available at 20 rupees. Might find it better to visit before noon and probably in the evening to enjoy the cool breeze and view together. The lake side park and the seashore is all that's there, and is wholesome.

An awesome spot to chill out int the evenings. Amazing experience in the park and the vibe you get here is next level. It's crowded sometimes which will reduce a bit of vibe for someone like me. You can do speedboat in the lake. There is a floating bridge. A nice park for the kids as well as elders. Horse Riding. All these and more are available here.

The main attractions here are the floating bridge, the train, boating spot and sea. ❗️❗️Though the closing time for boating is by 5pm, try to be there before 3 or 3 30. During rush hours, the queue will be long. The entry ticket is 20 for adults. Near the sea, they have many food outlets. Sunset there is nice to see. Some small games are there for adults to (after 6pm, they reduce the cose from 20rs to 10rs). Overall a good place to spend 2-3hrs.

A good Walk Id say They did upgrade a lot of things from what I last visited. Well there is entry fee of around 20 per person (adult). There is a lot to walk around and youll get tired easily if you go out on a hot day. Theres a solar powered Mini Train that you can a ticket for to see around. Then theres boating services available till 5pm. Take a walk on the famous Floating Bridge. Sit in park, Have a cup of coffee and a good to hang out with your friends for a weekend. Thankyou🙂

Instead of going single single beaches go here enjoy everything like a children park , nature , beach like all in one place for a family trip important things to note is like - It has a entry fees of 20rs - make sure you reach before 5pm if you want to go for boating - and for rain ride its 6pm end time - and for the floating bridge the timing was 6:15 pm it will all close. So make sure u take all these things on checklist before going

Renovated!?! Children's park is quite good, but not neat and tidy. Mini train is running and good condition. Water bodies are poorly maintained. Park is connected to beach as well. So an evening can be well spend there. Floating restaurant is there, so till dinner will spend there.

Really good place to spend 4-6 hours with kids , family or lover. Restaurant is also there. Boating, toy train, horse riding, kids park, floating auditorium etc are the main attractions.

Would recommend the speed boat over the regular boat ride. Train ride is good for kids. Very crowded, parking can be tricky if full.

Very well maintained place with a lot of visitors. Parking area is very big, but since the approach road is narrow, heavy traffic is there. A few attractions include children's park, toy train, boat ride, floating bridge which connects the park and the beach. Overall a very good place to spend quality time with family.

Best spot for one day picnic with family. The ticket charge per person is 20 rupees. You can see the sunset, the beach, the lake, boating, and other play activities for children. This is a good place where children could enjoy their best, floating bridge, lots of swings, slides, horse rides, cafeterias, small scale shops etc. Bus service is available from eastfort.

While it's extremely crowded, you can see why! There is plenty to do for the family including a fun miniature train ride which was sadly out if order when we visited. The floating bridge over to the beach is a fun walk and the Floatilla restaurant has marvelous views of the backwaters. A well maintained beach, inspite of the amount of people was also a very nice sight.

Good place for kids but the main attraction ie toy train and boating were closed. A part of Veli beach is also covered within this place, so it makes it worthwhile to visit it.But coast guards dont let you go near the water.

nice ambience and toy train is a must try one… the best part is we can enter into the beach from here… beach vibes, horse ride etc…overall a day well spent…. not recommended on a daily basis for kids just to play in park… bcz they have a ticket charge and we have much public parks in the city without entry fee… in one words a relaxing weekend spot or a day out spot…

Trivandrum's best holiday area. Weekends and holidays are frequently overly crowded. Water sports and train rides are fantastic. The train ticket is Rs 50 per person and is well worth it. A nice place for children and adults to spend a day.

Decently maintained. Entry fee ₹20 adult and below 12 years ₹5. Helpful and friendly team working there. The toy 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 train 4-5 trips in morning and then takes an hour to recharge. Charge ₹50 adult and child ₹30. Try the speed boat or launch ₹ 100 per person and charter ₹1000. Try the kulfi in plastic mutka or pot 🍯from Milma it is fun and ok. Speed boat is not for the faint hearted

A good place to hangout with kids and family. The tourist village has a vast parking area. The ticket rate is Rs.20 per head. It has a calm and beautiful lake view side where we can sit peacefully but the stray dogs wandering over here and there is a trouble. The KTDC restaurant operating inside the village is a hunger saviour with limited snacks, beverages and other food items. The paid bathroom service is a total disaster. Kids will enjoy the two parks inside the village and adults can experience the toy train and boating service provided at reasonable rates. Overall it's a good hangout spot during evenings.

Place will all in one experience. U will find sea beach, well maintained park and swings and few activities for kids, a toy train, water activities like speed boat and ice cream and tea stalls. I use to visit this place with my son at least twice in a month. A must visit place for residents of Trivandrum and tourists also.

A good hangout place which we can enjoy with family and friends. The beauty of nature can be enjoyed in this place. Different activities and games for kids are available. Horse riding, flying kites are the major attractions among these. Entry is through the ticketing system. A children's park is also there. Very crowded area on weekend. My aspect this is a lovers park, mind freshness place. Mini rail, boating, available, paid parking available, some snacks/ cool drink shop available. Near by no restaurant please carry with you, if you stay whole day. No restriction for Food to carry inside. Train 50 rupee for adult, 20 for kid. So many tortoise in the conch pond. You can feed them.

Very nice garden, very big. Needs little bit of maintenance. It has a toy train, shikara and motor boat inside. Also play garden for children and a small beach to enjoy back waters. Very well build monuments. Cool experience 😎

One of the good tourist place in trivandrum. Can spent two hours atleast or more if go over there with kids. Evening is the best time. 20 rs for entry ticket and train service and boating available extra charges.

Visited this place without a plan. You need a ticket to enter this place. Costs Rs.20 per head for adult. This area has 1) A big Park (good for having long walk) which is calm and beautiful. 2) Children's play area (No adults are allowed) 3) Kid's train ride ( children as well as adults are allowed) which is about 10 min ride. 4) Boat Ride - Bulk boat ride where 30 people can ride this boat for 15 - 20 mins in the back waters for Rs.100per each. This boat moves like a grandma. Smaller boat ride which moves super fast where only 6 can fit which costs around Rs.1500 for a whole boat. Other pack is also available. 5) Small shops are also available to get snacks. You have to take a 5 min walk to the other side to get this. 6) While going to other side of the park, there will be a floating bridge. This is fun to walk as this moves like a hanging bridge and this is the only way to get through the other side. The train ride also crosses this part so you can take a train ride if you don't want to walk. 7)Moreover there is a floating restaurant on the other side. You can try Non-veg items too there. 8) Horse ride is also available on the other side. 8) Most area accepts Card and cash. Scanning is not most likely allowed. Overall you can spend quality time with your family or friends. I don't have any snaps as i was having fun time with my family. Uploaded two videos which i recorded. Veli Tourist Village is one of the best attraction in trivandrum. Here there is play area for childrens and even adults can have good enjoyment. Here they are having speed boat and other boating activity. Then here beach is also there. All together we are having good time here.The ticket fee for one adult is 20Rs only.

A nice beach attached with a park with children play area, a train drive, boating on backwaters etc. Evening time visit is good to see sun set with golden sky - most of the days. The park, boat boarding area, south side of the park are not at all clean and hygiene. Garbage and wastes are not cleaned for months Overall it is not maintained properly and can create unhygienic issues. The responsible officials should involve and renovate everything, till then better not to visit.

This is a quiet and superb place for enjoyment, kids will enjoy for sure. You can find lot of sea birds and wild scenic view. Beach is decent and not crowded so good to come here as family and speed time in shore. Sunset view is superb. You can prefer this beach than Kovalam. This place has kids zone like outdoor games for children, boating, beach , floating bridge, kids train. Boating price is ₹100 per person (not for kids). Speed boat -₹1000 per trip (seperate boat for a family - small Speed boat , can accommodate 5 or 6 person. Train cost ₹50 per person ( not for kids).
