If you are traveling with your family, this is a great option. You can have an apartment with hotel services. The breakfast was included and is really good. Also they have free laudry machines. Location is also a plus because is just 3 blocks away from Saint Peter's Square.

Beautifully renovated and maintained apartment hotel with breakfast served on the seventh floor overlooking St. Peter’s Basilica on the right and Castel D’Angelo on the left. Nicely spread out food with attentive wait staff. Adam, Andrea and manager were really helpful and friendly. Our boy looked up to Adam as his elder brother who didn’t come on this trip as he’s serving military service. Location of the hotel is perfect and the nearest Metro is Ottaviano Station. We prefer to walk to all the tourist spots. We made 2 bookings each spending 4 nites as in between we were in Florence. Rooms are big, spacious and well kept. Wonderful time spent in Rome with great hospitality from the management of Trianon, housekeeping and the F&B team. We hope to be back again mid of next year! Grazie Mille!

It was overall very nice. The floors were not recently cleaned. The slippers were a clean option and we could see they got dirty very fast. Another issue was the internet. It kept telling us too many users are on the system so we had not option to really use the WiFi. The breakfast buffet on the 7th floor with wonderful views was spectacular and the location was awesome too! Even has a convenience store across from the entrance of the hotel. It had everything we needed and very spacious rooms. Still giving it 5 stars, because the floors was just one small issue we probably would have addressed if we stayed more than just 2 nights.

Excellent location for a visit to Rome. Nicely appointed rooms with kitchen; looked almost brand new. The staff was friendly and helpful. A great breakfast; from 7:30 am. Laundry facilities (free) in the building. Plenty of great restaurants and shops in the area. Some notes; the building has one of those high-tech systems where you put your room key in the wall while you are there, remove it when you leave, and it turns off all the lights and adjust the air conditioning. In our room, the air conditioning was set at 23 degrees which is a touch warm for a room with windows facing the sun all day. We could adjust the temp on the system, which is to say the numbers would change on the thermostat, but it didn't actually seem to change anything. Not a drama, so still 5 stars, but worth noting. Would definitely return.

Our family just stayed here for our first trip to Rome. The location is so close to so many great landmarks in a very quiet and cute neighborhood. It’s tucked away in a corner but has great restaurants, cafes and gelato spots near by. The room has everything you need especially for what we used it for which was just to sleep and get ready for the day, it a very clean and modern room not a ton of decor. We would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious room with full kitchen. Everything new and modern. Service is amazing. Front Desk was super helpful when we got to the hotel earlier than expected for check-in. Breakfast is fantastic and also offers a great view from the rooftop. Finally, location. Close to everything, 5 min to Vatican City, 10 min walk max to subway station. Grocery stores, restaurants also 2-3 min walk away.

Stayed 11 days for our holiday. Fantastic service and staff are nice and helpful. Only 5 mins away from Vatican city. And not too far from main attractions (we love to walk). They provided free breakfast and it's amazing. The view from 7th floor is breathtaking. The only con is the shower room very small. But other than than is superb. 🥰🥰

Nice hotel. The room we got didn't have a view, but each morning at breakfast, we could see St. Peters and more from the 7th floor. The room was actually several... Bedroom/Kitchen/Living (w/ fold-out bed in a couch)/Bath with Shower and a common hallway connecting them. Breakfast was good with lots of choices of protein, veggies, and carbs. The only negative we had to mitigate was the room temperature. Very hot when we arrived (December)... Apparently, you have to turn the system off to have any hope of cooling the room by opening windows. Once we learned that we were able to sleep comfortably.

We stayed 3 days, the apartment was beautiful and wonderfully cool after walking all day. So close to the Vatican, we walked over when it opened, got in after 30 minutes. Made it back to the Hotel in time to eat breakfast.

I can never say enough good about this hotel. The staff are excellent and helpful. The accomodations are beautiful. The location is convenient to the Vatican as well as public transportation. I have been to a few hotels in my 44 trips to Rome, and Trianon Borgo Pio far exceeds them all!!

We stayed for three nights with my family (three small children). The location was excellent, and in fact, could not ne better. In addition to being close to monumental landmarks, it was within a walking distance of the Ottaviano metro station and a fairly large Coop grocery store. We had plenty of room in our apartment and our own balcony. We could easily access- and fit our baby stroller in our room. They also arranged a babycot for us. The only downside was poor water pressure in the kitchen and the bathroom sinks, but it was still good enough to get things done. The breakfast was good, and there were excellent views from the 7th floor where it was located. Perhaps we would have appreciated to have more greens such as salad ans tomatoes, but that is only a very minor remark. The staff were always available and helpful.

Very good location. You can go to visit peter’s dome before breakfast then come back for the breakfast. The only thing i don’t like is the bathroom is too small. We have family room, so maybe other rooms are different. But i don’t want to take off one star because of this. Groceries nice restaurants and most important tourist sites are all nearby. Walking to coloseo is about 35 minutes snd on the way you can pass by pantheum.

Excellent location. However hotel quality is low. We had a leaking refrigerator, uncomfortable beds. No bed linnen change in 5 days. For price level breakfast disappointing quality and no orange juice or apple juice.

Great location. Only complaint is the beds, which you won't like if you don't like firm mattresses. Beautiful breakfast room view of the vatican. Rooms will slowly make you feel at home.

Good hotel, some things needed improvements, but the location really brings the experience up, the rooftop where the breakfast is served has a great view over the Vatican and Castel sant angelo. The staff are friendly and welcoming, although sometimes the experience can feel a bit rushed due to the amount of people there during peak season. The breakfast was good, the quality of the food was good, and there was a good selection to choose from. The rooms are like apartments which can be a bit different from usual hotel experiences, if you are not aware of the fact that it is an aparthotel when you book it. We arrived late due to our flight being delayed and found out that the hotel has night locked the entrance from 12-6 due to security, but we are very thankful for the staff staying an hour extra to open up for us. Picture linked is the view of the Vatican from the window of the chilling area besides the breakfast area.

We had a lovely 10 day stay, my husband and I along with our 3 youngest children and our grown son and his new bride. (Booked 2 separate rooms) The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast buffet was lovely and filling, a real plus also to have laundry facilities on site which allowed us to pack light. Staff was friendly and very helpful in navigating the city, giving great travel tips, and calling to arrange for transportation. We walked to many historical sites from this location, the metro station is also close and convenient. Overall a great experience, thank you Trianon Borgo Pio for the hospitality.

Amazing place with great staff and you can't find a better location. Just the best! We had a late flight and after check-out we were allowed to put the luggage away and relax at the rooftop where the breakfast is normally served. There is a sitting area there with couches and books and amazing views.

Top class apartment close to Vatican. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment Professional team Arranged pickup taxi Breakfast 7 Star 2 grocery stores in close vacinity- Pam Local and Carrefor. Avoid the mini market - extortionate prices All monuments within walking distance. Furthest was Colloseum - 38 minute walk. Vatican 5 minutes walk. Check out very smooth - There is a rest room with luggage storage and toilets if your flight is later in the day. Very satisfied with Trianon Borgo.

For being a 4 star hotel it’s on the edge. The breakfast is big but tasteless imo. A lot of yesterday’s leftover food comes in every morning, but it works for the average customer. Details in the room are damaged & the drivers they have for airport shuttle are definitely not happy with their jobs. The view from the rooftop is okay, but once you have seen it it’s just there. Okay location but next time we book something else. You may ask for an extra key when you book, so you can leave the power on when you leave the room, for a lot of reasons.

The front desk staff was wonderful. The room was clean but the shower is super small and the hotel didn't have wifi the whole time we were there. We told the front desk and they said they were working on it. Super frustrating not to have wifi for 7 days. The hotel didn't offer any solution for us and didn't offer any reimbursement for our troubles. The breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast buffet with lunch meats and cheeses, cereal, yogurt, pastries, juice, and coffee.

Location is great. The space of the apartments aswell. Breakfast views are amazing and the food is nice. Staff are really friendly too but I think the appartaments could be cleaner. There was a lot of black mold in the shower which can be easily cleaned and found a tooth pick from previous guests on the floor which I think is really bad. Also the sofa bed is extremely noisy so uncomfortable when sleeping due to the noise of the bed springs. I think with the price we paid I expected more.

Very clean, updated and modern apartment, and very convenient to the Vatican….but: we gave a relatively low review for the following reasons: 1) very clumsy and frustrating online checkin process. We were asked multiple times to check in online. When we attempted it, we could not complete the checkin process because the app kept asking us for information on a 3rd occupant. We were only checking in for 2 people. 2) when we checked in at the lobby, we were asked for our passports (to copy)and the staff member asked us to go to our room and return in 10 minutes to retrieve our passports. When we returned, there was no one manning the desk and our passports were left unattended! 3) we had no Wi-Fi for the 3 days we stayed and despite repeated requests, this was not fixed.4) on the 2nd day the towel warmer rack leaked water all over the bathroom floors ( this was fixed quickly).

Well positioned for visits to the Vatican city and St Peter's basilica. Not so much for the other iconic Roman sights - Colosseum, Pantheon etc. Metro station is about 1 km away. Decent rooms with kitchenette. Breakfast quality average..

The Trianon Borgo Pio was superb -- the location was perfect and the service, from taxi pick up and drop off service at the airport to the cleanliness and friendly service at the hotel were five stars. The breakfast and views of the city alone are worth it. Mille grazie!

We enjoyed our stay at Trianon Borgo Pio Srl. The staff was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Free breakfast as well which was a nice surprise! Would stay here again on the next trip.

Wonderful and comfortable hotel. Front desk staff lady was sweet and helpful. The shuttle driver from hotel to airport was rude and charged me an extra 10 euros from what was quoted from the hotel.

Absolutely lovely aparthotel. Our two bedroom, lounge and kitchen apartment was spotless, well maintained, cleaned every day. The location was fab, about 5 minutes from the Vatican, and 15 minutes from central Rome. It is also only one street away from a large number of welcoming restaurants. With rooftop breakfast and a very friendly and super helpful staff, I would certainly recommend the Trianon Borgo Pio as a base for a Rome visit.
