Front desk clerk was very polite and I appreciated his reception. The hotel though is like what what you see in a horror movie with dingy beds, cigarette burns in the sheets, towels are a dark gray, duct tape literally holding the shower together and very dirty. There were even screws dangerously poking out of the adjoining rooms door to obviously keep anyone from breaking in. Also no door latch, obviously busted off at one point. The one bed is pushed up against the AC unit so you either have to have it off or freeze to death. The pillows are so thin that they are practically non existent. I wouldn't have been so annoyed if it wasn't $80 a night. I stayed at a different hotel yesterday for $76 that provided a fresh cooked breakfast.

Do. Not. Stay. Here. Spend the extra money for a nicer place. Generally motel 6 are ok. Especially after being renovated. This place is just trash. A/C was set to the lowest temperature (60) and wasn't cold at all. It was colder outside. It was very loud. There were bugs everywhere and the toilet had not been flushed from the last person who used it God knows how long. Feels like you'll get stabbed walking to your car. The only redeeming (barley) quality was the TV was actually decent size. You only get one pillow per season and the bed was so stiff. Please stay somewhere else.

Spend the extra 30 and get a better place. I know it’s a motel but dried blood on the toilet and dirty sheets and pillow cases with yellow staining and god knows what else is unacceptable. (The pictures do not give justice to the level of filth that we witnessed)

Our stay at this motel was fantastic! The friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, and great amenities like a peaceful views open area for pets and kids made it a standout choice. Highly recommend for a cozy and enjoyable stay, Only one drawback is they dont have the pool apart from that evrything is awesome

Room was really disgusting. Ended up staying out of exhaustion as we had been driving for 13 hours. At about 1am we gave up trying to sleep as it was just too gross and something in the room was causing both of us to have some sort of breathing issues (stuffed up instantly, sore throat following). Thought it was just allergies but both of us are fine after leaving. We requested a smoking room so the cigarette burns in the room didn't bother us much. The bathroom fan was disgusting and the cover just propped up on the wall next to it. Floor has a big soft spot in the bathroom doorway. AC/heater cover plate was from a different model and didn't fit so it was just set on top and not secured. That didn't work well because we travel with cats. But the worst was the nasty dirty bed sheets and the comforter that has a bunch of old stains, most of which appear to be blood. Only positive was the nice gal working the desk when we checked in. She was very friendly and recommended a place for food, but it was closed on Tuesdays. That was okay though we ordered from somewhere else.

I'm very satisfied with my experiences here at motel 6. The couple that run the motel & the employees are polite, professional, & helpful i also love that they are pet friendly for my puppy. I rent a room here when I can afford too. Sincerely Brian Murray.

I like this place; it's an open and peaceful environment with minimal disturbances. The service they provide is exceptional. I had an issue with the television in my room, but when I reported it, they promptly resolved the problem. I appreciate their quick response to my concern, and I highly recommend this place

It's a really nice place to stay. I liked this motel. I stayed at a different one in Iowa last week, where they charged me a lot, and I didn't like their behavior. However, here in this motel, they actually care about everything you want

I had a wonderful stay at this motel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I checked in. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities they offered I am a traveller , The location was convenient and allowed me to explore the area easily. I recommend this motel to everyone who is looking for a comfortable and budget-friendly stay. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit, Also i like the parking place because we can park our car in front of our room that make me more comfortable.

Hair on the towels....bleh... otherwise ok, be nice if there was a lamp and not only overhead bright lights

Generally Motel 6's are "fine". This one was definitely sketchy. The overall area didn't feel very safe. The main reason I say this was because of my subjective experience that someone pounded on my door at 3am (no idea who), my door was missing its deadbolt, and my neighbor nextdoor was up pretty much all night playing music and talking loudly. It's definitely the type of place you want to take everything out of your car for fear of it being broken into during the night. Redeeming qualities are pets stay free (at all Motel 6), and despite what others said about their room, mine was fine.

Just don’t stay here… The atmosphere is quite literally nauseating. We reserved a “non smoking” room about a month in advance while on a cross country move. My boyfriend and I have bad asthma and we could barely stand to be in the room. We stayed the night out of complete necessity and by night I mean 2 hours and we both had severe issues to the point I developed Bronchitis just from staying thoes 2 hours. We would have gotten a refund if we hadn’t gone across the street for gass and snacks and exceeded the 15 minute grace period you get upon check in. The room was absolutely filthy on top of the stench of cigarette smoke the floor was sticky, the corners of the room were caked in dirt, there was what looked like dryed glue on the fridge as well as a odd smell inside, the bedding had weird stains and the shower had hair in the drain. We felt so disgusting after staying that we rented a shower at a truck stop. Find anywhere else to stay drive more, pay more and you’ll have a better more comfortable time. They have done nothing to better this location. I have stayed at countless motel 6s and this is absolutely the worst.

The room was so so. The floor was sticky and there was a burn hole in the top blanket. The don't service breakfast which is pretty crudy considering the amount they charge for one night. The guy eight next to us had 4 barking dogs and nothing was done about it. The initial service we got on check-in was good but that was it.

The owner are very beautiful people and they have done a lot of remodeling to the motel and they are doing so much more my father and I have stayed a long stay and we'll tell any one to go stay at the motel 6 on fairlawn address 709 sw Fairlawn they have great prices and very friendly and safe place to stay and will always come back to stay here best motel in town thank you miss beavers

Meh they always calling the cops for in my opinion petty and childish reasons. Like last night, at 2 am I see a cop looking at some dudes car for what I saw no reason at all. Maybe a expired tag. Thankfully these cops actually spend their time on actual crimes like someone stealing a car and trying to shoot at them. Not going after someone who was tired and didn't want to keep driving. I won't be giving them another penny of mine

Motel 6 Topeka on 709 sw fairlawn road is one of cheapest and affordable motel in Topeka and all the rooms are being renovated,I’ve seen some of the rooms that have already been renovated with new beds and furniture and flooring.the best things is there is no deposit and they accept cash pay and if you think that’s cool they allow up to 2 pets free of charge.it’s safe and property is monitored 24/7 .Great place and I will recommend this place to everyone because it’s affordable and clean….

Where do I begin, the window curtain was riddled with holes so I used the plastic from the cups to keep ppl from looking in smh. The floor stayed wet from wherever the leaks from coming from in 3 different places. The bathroom door didn't close so I used a towel to close it. And to make matters worse, the heat barely worked so we froze half the night smh. Oh yeah thank God I didn't have an emergency because the electric and phone didn't work due to no electrical connection. For $128 it was definitely nowhere near worth the experience, THANKS MOTEL 6🖕👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎!!!

Barely 1 star.... The WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. The bathroom door didnt close we had to use a towel to close it. There is a hole in the curtain and people could have looked into our room. The fridge is leaking water... The heater took 4hrs to work.

I would rate this motel a 0 it was FILTY dirty sheets walls room in general. Staff was nice but room was absolutely disgusting and very poorly cleaned and they still made me pay 30 dollars just for going into the room Dont STAY HERE!!

Rooms are VERY nasty. Seen a roach in the bathroom. Broken lightbulbs and tvs....ONLY use if you are in a pinch and need somewhere to stay for 1 NIGHT.

Quiet area, seems like kind of a sketchy place at night but is a nice place and safe, more long term guests here... showers are the reverse weird kind, almost space shuttle like feeling with no arm room but good pressue

This place is DISGUSTING! I've stayed at Motel 6 many times before, they usually are very clean and comfortable. My 1st room had a filthy floor, walls were disgusting as well as the bathroom, bed, microwave etc.. The clientele I seen walking around outside made me a little worrisome, so when I realized there was a door connecting my room to the one next door, I requested a different room (hoping it would also be cleaner) Nope! That room didn't have the safety latch on the door and the dead bolt wouldn't lock!! It was just as dirty as the first room, stains all over the sheets, cigarette holes on bed spread, the shower head was being held together with a hair tie and the there was no water pressure at all! I'll never stay at another motel 6 again!

bed was comfortable but not comfortable enough for me to sleep without worrying about bed bugs and other diseases…. also the air conditioning was so loud it sounded like i was in world war 2 getting onto a fighter jet. Also when using the shower it went everywhere causing the bathroom floor to flood like a kids swimming pool. Also, even though i was talking so quietly the walls were very thin that my neighbor could hear me talking and i could hear the same. Room was decent but not that clean, the floor was dirty but it didn’t matter since i wore my shoes around. Also, i don’t know why motel 6 doesn’t provide any shampoo or conditioner i think they are basic items for any bathroom. Also the wifi is horrible it’s like it’s nonexistent. Also, there was no deadbolt on the door which made me anxious and the door always seemed to not fully closed which made me more scared. The employees were nice and the area was okay but that’s all i really enjoyed.
