This was my first experience in vegan dining. The food was amazing. I had coleslaw and quinoa salad and it was delicious. It was so good, I ordered a take out trio which consisted of golden curry, coleslaw and a treat for dessert. I also brought home golden curry that was frozen and tomato/vegetable soup to have later. Karen the owner/chef/server made the experience even better. She is truly talented in what she does. I am definitely a repeat customer.

If your New Years Resolution was to get more healthy, look no further. Good Grains is a takeout restaurant with a quick serve concept that makes all their delicious plant based food in house. What I love about this place is that it uses no faux meat, which is so refreshing to see amongst all these new trends! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Everything is completely used with fresh ingredients and local where they can. They have variety of beautiful unique salads and soups. It can be used as a side or as a main dish. There was obviously alot of thought put into these vegan recipes of the salads, which you can find on the website.

Karen, the owner, was so kind when helping me place a catering order. She took the time to explain the different dishes to me, was so friendly, and made amazing food for the folks on our crew. Still dreaming about the pumpkin seed brittle. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I found this place from a Google "healthy restaurant" search, it was close to where I was at that time. When I got there the owner (I believe) said there was a power outage and wasn't able to prepare all menu items. Which is totally understandable. I asked if the stew was ready and she said it may need a few more minutes. I said I was happy to wait. She proceeded to serve me the stew after a few minutes. It was definitely not ready. I would have appreciated if she asked me to wait longer or say unfortunately I can't serve you the stew at this time. Honesty comes a long way. Instead I got stuck with a soup that was not fully cooked. Edit: I did write the review in the restaurant. After I wrote it, she did check up on me and apologize. She seems like a really friendly restaurant owner and I do hope this was a one off situation.

A friend told me about this place about a year ago when e we were talking about vegan restaurants. I’ve been meaning to come for the longest time. And I’m so happy I finally did. The second I walked in I was greeted by Karen, the owner and mastermind behind the vegan culinary brilliance. She was energetic and kind and immediately introduced me to her creations — coconut curry and Veggie purée soups du jour, mild golden curry (pictured, half eaten), medium spice peanut curry, and squash red lentil stew. She also detailed her salads and hand made treats, including vegan ice cream for the hotter weather. The curry was delicious with exactly the perfect blend of texture and taste. The tabuleh (picture) a lovely mild flavour to compliment the main dish. And the died fruit date ball treat in still on my to-do list but I’m impatiently eager to demolish it. I also grabbed some dark maple brittle for friends. The price is very modest for the quantity and quality you’re getting. I will be back! See you soon Karen!

So happy to come home last night after work and be able to pull a 'Regal Stew' flat pack from the freezer...add a little rice and everyone enjoys a warm, comforting and nourishing supper. Thanks Good Grains! We'll be in to restock soon :)

Really great experience. The restaurant is squeaky clean an very neat. Was great talking to the owner prior to placing the order, as she provided details on the ingredients and ordering food for a party. The food was ready for pickup, absolutely delicious and delightful. Very good customer experience. My friends loved the entrees. Thank you so much!!!

Love this place! Very tasty, healthy food. Brilliant idea to freeze soups and stews in bags to save space in your own freezer and preserve the fresh taste. Very good to start the year with healthy food.

Went here a few days ago with a friend. He really enjoyed it and said the food and prices were really good. Owner was very friendly and she gave us a warm welcome and some back ground insight on her life and her business!

If I could give 6 stars I would. Spend 5 minutes there and you will see that the owner is very passionate about cooking home made and healthy dishes that are made with care. She's very clear about the allergens in her dishes, which makes this a great place to eat if you want to be certain about what goes into each dish, whether it be for a preference or an allergy. And the food is delicious, which of course is a nice plus :) This place is a gem, not every restaurant has a personal touch like this, so if you can make time to visit then you will find it well worth it.

That was really good. We both had the trio sets, mine was quinoa and her’s was the regal stew- both with a peanut butter vegan ice cream. The portions were perfect, and the taste was flavourful from the first bite to last. I feel happy and not bloated. See picture, no food to show because we ate it all. Stumbled upon this place when my mother-in-law, my fiancée and I were out for a walk. The food was great and the owner was super friendly and helpful. We had the quinoa with salad and a treat and the thai medley. So yummy and filling! It gave that good feeling you get after having a nutritious and healthy lunch. Will definitely come back when we're in the area.

This place is hands down one of the BEST I have come across for healthy, plant-based meals. I have been struggling to eat while adjusting to university dorm life and this restaurant has been a life saver. The owner is also worthy of a 10 star rating. She is so accommodating and really cares about her customers. I walked away with a near 2-week supply of freezer pack meals and their vegan "cheese" sauce. Every single item has been delicious. For anyone looking for tasty, hassle-free healthy food that doesn't have the time, space, or ability to meal prep make sure you go here. Their freezer pack meals are so convenient and the owner also made a quinoa salad for me from scratch while I was shopping the freezer.

Curried Butternut Squash Bisque was super delicious and filing. I was so glad to find a vegan restaurant in GTA having such unique plant-based dishes. The chef was really warm and kind too! :) Really happy with the service!

When you walk in you smell the amazing aroma of delicious chili and soups etc! It's super clean, and the food is really good! Recommend!!!

I ordered the Thai medley. It was absolutely delicious. I also purchased some freezer soups and curries and Thai sauce. Looking forward to trying these out too! I will be back again and again!

Home Made Quality, Wholesome Good for You and Tastes Great. I plan ahead and bring it home for a healthy dinner... as closing at 6pm makes it tight. You can tell the owner does each meal with a passion for quality food.

Such a great place to pick up healthy meals! I bought a few frozen entrées for friends of mine who just had a baby, and they loved them. I also picked up the Asian Magic Sauce for myself and it’s been so perfect for stir fry.

Such a cozy, quaint restaurant. We stopped between flights because my daughter has a dairy allergy and we know vegan is safe. We do not regret that decision one bit. The curry and treats were amazing. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars.

Omg YUM! I finally tried this place after wanting to for awhile and it was so delicious 😋 the owner is very sweet and took the time to explain the different dishes that were available. I got the thai main and it was so freaking good, with the perfect amount of spice/ heat. I also really like that they cater and have frozen meals that you can purchase as well. This was my first time but definitely won't be my last. Amazing.

My new favorite takeout restaurant! Sparkling clean, super friendly, delicious food, great price. Checks all the boxes.
