Scarborough

Anjapper
Chettinad
Restaurant
left
a
disappointing
impression
during
our
visit.
The
individual
taking
orders
seemed
disengaged
and
not
adequately
attentive,
reflecting
poorly
on
the
restaurant's
commitment
to
customer
service.
The
frustration
escalated
when,
despite
arriving
at
9:30
PM,
we
were
informed
that
the
kitchen
was
closed.
This
contradicted
the
information
on
their
website,
which
stated
a
closing
time
of
10
PM.
This
inconsistency
raises
concerns
about
the
accuracy
of
their
operational
details
and
the
reliability
of
their
service.
Moreover,
the
limitation
on
ordering
only
at
a
specific
time
is
inconvenient
for
patrons,
especially
those
expecting
flexibility
during
their
dining
experience.
The
unavailability
of
biryani,
a
staple
in
Chettinad
cuisine,
added
to
the
disappointment,
questioning
the
restaurant's
ability
to
maintain
essential
menu
items
throughout
their
operating
hours.
Drawing
comparisons
with
Seattle
Anjapper
restaurant,
the
Scarborough
branch
falls
short
in
both
food
quality
and
service.
The
dissatisfaction
was
exacerbated
by
the
long
journey
from
British
Columbia,
making
the
experience
even
more
disheartening.
It
is
crucial
for
the
management
to
learn
from
successful
counterparts
and
implement
changes
to
enhance
their
offerings
and
overall
customer
experience.
The
issue
of
misinformation
regarding
closing
times
requires
urgent
attention.
If
the
kitchen
is
closing
earlier
than
the
advertised
time,
updating
the
website
and
ensuring
consistency
in
communication
is
imperative.
The
discrepancy
between
the
closing
time
and
the
availability
of
the
service
team
until
10
PM
adds
confusion
to
the
customer
experience,
highlighting
a
lack
of
coordination
among
staff
members.
Unfortunately,
the
lack
of
pictures
due
to
a
switched-off
phone
prevents
us
from
visually
documenting
the
disappointing
experience.
However,
it's
essential
to
note
that
the
Gobi
65
masala
not
adhering
well
to
the
cauliflower
further
emphasizes
the
subpar
quality
of
the
dishes
served.
Consistency
in
food
preparation
is
fundamental
to
a
positive
dining
experience,
and
this
aspect
was
evidently
lacking
during
our
visit.
In
conclusion,
Scarborough
Ontario
Anjapper
Chettinad
Restaurant's
operational
inconsistencies,
limited
ordering
times,
unavailability
of
key
menu
items,
and
subpar
food
quality
make
it
a
regrettable
choice
for
dining.
The
management
should
address
these
issues
promptly,
learn
from
successful
counterparts,
and
prioritize
customer
satisfaction
to
salvage
the
restaurant's
reputation
in
the
competitive
food
industry.
