Lunch was fabulous as always and it was clean and classy. love the little touches to the woman restroom. Service with a smile and even a little joke. My go to place for food and drinks. celebrated graduation, birthdays, and just a little self care here. Will continue to go just for the vibe.

We enjoyed eating here. The food was quite good and the waiter was very nice. I think our waiter made the experience 10x better. They have the equipment to accommodate infants and children. They are reasonably priced and the service was quick.

The atmosphere of this restaurant in Kingston is not too good - Jack Astor's, just opposite the Kingston City Hall Square. 😍 How did I discover this restaurant? 🧐While walking in Kingston city walk, I looked up and accidentally noticed a row of very bright orange parasols upstairs. I happened to be a little tired from shopping and wanted to go up and have a drink. I didn’t know it until I came up, but when I came up I saw that there were actually people sitting under the orange parasols. The atmosphere was amazing🥰, and I felt like I was in the Caribbean enjoying the sunshine and waves in an instant! ❤ Sitting here looking at Kingston city hall, enjoying the sunshine and admiring the sunset🌇, looking at the busy traffic of Kingston, a historical city, the impact of modernity and history is really not a good feeling. 📰 In fact, Jack Astor's is a relatively well-known chain restaurant in many cities in Canada. It has various Canadian snacks 🍟, steaks 🥩 and Mexican 🇲🇽 dishes, etc. With so many chain stores, you can imagine that its food products are excellent. Not bad. When the food came, the portions were really quite large, and the taste of the dishes was generally quite satisfactory. What shocked me most was that the price was not high at all. After ordering so many things and a few drinks🥤, it was not worth it at all. I couldn’t finish the meal and ended up taking it away. The checkout was only over 130🔪, which is not too cost-effective! 👍🏻

Had our work Christmas party in the heated patio area and it was great! The space is so pretty, the servers were lovely, and food was great. Definitely recommend

Jack Astor's has fallen off bad over the past few years. Even before covid, when they first cut their menu in half, it seems like they cut the quality alongside it. I got the Thai chicken curry bowl and it was a huge dissapointment, the chicken had no taste and the curry had a very wrong taste. The only thing edible at Jack Astor's are their chicken tenders and burgers. Everything else is either lacking in taste and is bland, or just not edible. This was my first time having Jack Astor's in probably 4 years. Wouldn't go again.

Starting with the ambience, it's lively (1star). The quality and quantity of the food is good (1 star). A little bit pricey as compared to the taste (0.5 star). The service by staff is slow (0.5 star), even though it was not busy.

It was decently busy for a Friday evening. The staff are friendly but they're fairly busy so they are sometimes hard to flag. Good food, very considerate when we told the server we were splitting two things she got us separate plates. Nice ambiance, a bit loud but good vibe.

The patio is great. Plenty of umbrellas to shade from sun. The meals are well proportioned and so yummy. The goat cheese and grilled chicken breast wrap is awesome. The service is always good and friendly. Great spot to gather with friends.

I usually don’t write reviews much. I had the pleasure of dining in this place after a while. It was amazing!!! The place was so happening. So many options to choose from. My table was attended by a waiter named Memo. He was so polite and had great recommendations. Bruschetta is a must try!

First patio visit after the lockdown, on my birthday. The food was good. But we were asked to finish our beers in the restaurant itself, as it can’t be taken out, this was a first. Overall a decent experience. 👍👍

Jack Astor’s has held a soft spot with me because it was the first place I started to hang out with friends when I was a teenager. I once loved their burgers. So to share this love, I took my teenage nieces for burgers yesterday… sadly it wasn’t as perfect as I had remembered. First the customer service was off the chain. Everyone was great from the hostess to our server (sorry sis I don’t remember you name and my receipt is MIA). However, my food was so disappointing. The cheese burger decimated the sad soggy bun and half slide off. The paper confetti referred to as lettuce was unable to give any satisfying crunch. The tomato was hard and almost as thick as the meat patty. I had the caesar salad… it needed fresher lettuce… was it iceberg lettuce?? It was so pale in colour. If so, that type of lettuce in a caesar is just being cheap. Come on Jack! Spring for some quality romaine. Now I must admit that I usually order bacon burgers but on my new health kick, I have given up the oink oink. I also have been having bathroom battles with cheese but I really wanted to enjoy some with my meal. Big mistake! Sliced processed cheese needs to be removed from non-fast food items. Now as for the taste of the meat… so disappointing. The patties didn’t look like with were cooked on a grill but boiled in its own juices. I don’t know but I had a terribly disgruntled look on my face eating it. Wish I enjoyed myself a lot more… also wish I had just gone home and eaten the chicken salad in my fridge 😪

I find the food very tasty there. I tried something new. It was the steak with some tortellini pasta. The steak was just okay but the tortellini pasta was amazing. I usually get their asiago chicken and instead of bow ties I get rice noodles and it's my favorite. One other item that I also have eaten from there was their burgers. A burger is a burger but there's is amazing. Good job . Your food is very good. It's one of our favorite places. Other people ordered the salads. They sounded really good but when they came it's probably not something I would order. But there's so much selection. You can definitely have your choice.

Claudia was out server. She was great! She brought energy and excitement to our table. The food came in a timely manner. It looked great and tasted great! Claudia helped to recommend dessert for us, Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was our first time having it and it was delicious!

Visited this place with a group of friends. Love the ambience. The host was quick to arrange for us a table of 10 even though we had no reservation. The staff were quick and kept checking on us to see if we were doing fine. Excellent service.

Nice cozy place to chill during or after workout or anytime near the STC area.. My ratings are as follows: Food: 6/10 Service: 8/10 Ambience: 7/10 Value for Money: 7/10 Can be better on seating & drinks.

I just loved the atmosphere at this place , you’ll see people come here and enjoy food and company . The food is amazing . At the start ,I thought the quantity was less but man I couldn’t finish my plate because it was too heavy. Taste was A+. Kevin and Dan made our experience here much better , they were patient and recommended what we would enjoy more from the menu. The place also have trivia nights , y’all have to check the card inside for the timing. All in all I would definitely come here again to have an amazing experience.

I came here for a late dinner and we got seated within 6 minutes then our waiter Dustin was absolutely awesome as always. He is the best waiter..we always seem to get him to serve us. He's a very bubly person plus he always checks on us to make sure everything is alright.

Came here with my now husband for food and drinks on the patio one long weekend. It was a bit of a wait for a table on the patio but we were happy to wait because we wanted the fresh air. We were served promptly and our apps, drinks and food came out with great timing! Everything is fresh and made to order, we were happy with our choices and left satisfied!

I love this location! I went yesterday for lunch and the food was incredible. I had a great size in portions and it was very tasty. Our server was Jesse and she was so great. She checked in on us, and ensured we were taken care of. My previous server was Johanna and she stopped by to say hello. The staff there are very friendly and kind which makes the experience so much better!

We went to have dinner. we got our apps in a timely manner however when we tried to order our main entrees it took such a long time. We had empty plates and our waitress walked by our table numerous times without acknowledging us. We also ordered beer and the second glass that came was really dirty and we mentioned it to our waitress. Her response was that they used to much cleaning agent and that it was safe to drink out of instead of offering to replace it

As always, Jacks serves the best nachos for the three of us. We liked all we ordered except for my Mexican bowl. I don’t like the taste of rice which tasted like a rice cake. I was not able to finish it. I have just eaten the fresh avocado slices and the corn kernels and beans on the side. This is my first time to try this here in Jacks. I would rather buy in Chipotle when it comes with this… that’s the reason I can’t give perfect score for this review. Our server was Chanel and she’s awesome. My husband told her it’s my birthday month, so she gave us this complimentary chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. I think this is just a newly added in the menu and my husband loved it! It’s delicious!

It’s my favourite go to place!! The staff is friendly and make you feel welcome. Must try their new Pink bubble fishbowl- absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a lovely time.

Great place to eat out at, good food, fun atmosphere, and excellent servers and bartenders. I tend to eat the bar most times I come here and the bartender Aliki is attentive, friendly, and checks up on how I'm doing or if I need anything regularly even when shes busy making drinks for other tables. Would definitely recommend.

Great food with great service. Unfortunately, I feel like their prices are a little on the higher end, enough so for me to bring it down to 4 stars.

As always, the service I receive at Jack Astor’s STC is very good. This afternoon, we had the pleasure of having Mark and Marc as our Servers and they were absolutely amazing! Mark is so cool and knowledgeable. I enjoy chit chatting with him cause he takes time to explain and answer my questions so kindly. Mark and Marc both checked in on us regularly to make sure we were good. The food was exceptional as is the service.

Came here for lunch on a Wednesday… Patio was very nice! I ordered the the chicken breast with potatoes and veggies… It was way more delicious than I expected! Had great flavour, minimal salt, and the chicken was moist and cooked well. Also had some tasty cocktails to go with the food KEY factor to our experience was our server, Marc, who was super friendly and went above and beyond to serve us! Really made our day Would definitely come back here! 5/5

Stefan was the most wonderful waiter as he was professional yet personable and brought our food to us promptly. He provided excellent recommendations for food preferences, and he had a great attitude! My girlfriend and I quite thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken fingers, fries, salad, and sangria that we got, as well as an added chocolate peanut butter tart that was gluten free and vegan!! Definitely a place to go back to!

Cannot say for the whole menu, but the wings we had appeared to be crispy, juicy and delicious. My draft apple crisp beer was great. Our server Tonya was helpful, friendly and fast. Washrooms clean:) Will come back

Excellent first time experience. Well located and clean. There is parking lot. Service It is pretty good. Good beer and the comes in the right time. I was there in a Sunday afternoon.

Met with family here for dinner (6 of us). Our server was pulled in what appeared to be a few directions from the manager but overall she was great. Food was fine .. I’ve never been a real fan but it’s consistent “OK” food. I ordered the curry bowl from the plant based menu and .. aside from the waiter handing the plate to me HOT (2 fingertips are slightly burned it seems the following day) the food was “fine”. Others ordered the pad Thai, pasta, sauces chicken fingers, bruschetta, and desserts. Atmosphere was great … loud, but great. So if you’re looking for average food and OK prices with great service and a decent vibe .. this could your place!

Was quick we didn't have to wait to long. Steak was good could have been better serving was great and friendly. However it be nice to offer up to top up the drinks. Overall is good.

Just had a wonderful birthday dinner for my dad! Mark D. was our waiter and he was incredible. Very attentive, charismatic and fun. Would recommend!

Good steak, great crab and lobster dip, and a tasty kids menu. My steak came over originally. Mark D was great and got it fixed ASAP. Round 2 was perfect. They even comped the steak without my asking which was unnecessary but an appreciated gesture. Any restaurant can overcook a steak on any given night. How they react to fix the mistake is what counts.

I loved their drink bowl!! Never had one but it was a good experience. Even though things are not exactly the same due to the pandemic, it does its best to keep the good vibes and inviting atmosphere.

We ordered French fries, pad Thai, mexican bowl, Pomeranian chicken (I can not remember the name) and beer. Loved it.
